  1. After spending some time with the update, this has been, at least personally for me, one of the most dissapointing ones. However, there are some positives. 

    The quest, while short was very appealing and featured a very well made song that is akin to a sea shanty. Also allowing us to try out sevagoth in the quest was a nice feature and it makes me wonder if something like a testing room for new upcoming frames would be a nice addition to the game. Much like genshin impact allowing players to trial new characters.

    Currently my sevagoth is building in the foundry, as I farmed him so I have no feedback on this frame but from what i've seen, his kit looks solid and he does look really cool and felt good to play in the little time we could play him in the quest.

    I wanted to write about void storms but I wrote too much so will start a topic about it later instead. Void storms are visually interesting and sound great but could feel more impactful.

    The addition of crew is a fantastic feature and the fact we can customize them and give them weapons with custom builds makes it all the more better. Now if only they had idle animations like sitting down and playing cards with eachother rather then running around the ship in circles. 

    The main reason why the update disappointed me was the mission structure. It is literally the opposite of what I wanted in railjack missions. If I want to do boots on the ground missions then I will play star chart. I wanted to blow stuff up with my upgraded railjack but instead it's just a taxi to get me to the actual objectives which are all ground objectives.

    Why are there no meaningful objectives for railjacks other than blowing up fighters, crewships and weakpoints.

    Suggestion: Add mission types with objectives designed around railjack/archwing and space combat. 

    I'm just going to spitball a few ideas to attemp to be somewhat constructive

    Railjack defence: A lifpod from a ship attack by corpus/grineer, containing a vip is in need of protection until it can be picked up for transport. It would be up to the railjack crew to defend the pod how they see fit from waves of ships and crewships.

    Space hijack: Lets be space pirates and raid a corpus transport ship ferrying valuable goods. There are many ways this mission could go. Perhaps this could be an endless mission where the tenno are raiding shipping lanes and for every transport hijacked the number and strength of opposition increases. 

    Railjack survival: Railjack crew have to navigate and use as cover a large astroid field and survive while fending off corpus/grineer forces that hunt them. Instead of life support it could be fuel or energy cells but funtionally the same as a normal survival. Perhaps a capital ship in the distant sky box firing off a powerful cannon making cover from the astroid field more important. Doesn't have to be an astroid field. Could be a ship graveyard where you need to distract enemy forces while an agent performes a salvage mission.

    I would even take just a simple space exterminate mission just to have a bit of railjack fun.

    The removal of gian point was bad call in my opinion. Although there is a high level node with only one ground objective. It is still very tedious.

    On to void storms and opening relics. Other than farming sevagoth and seeing a terrifying void snake, these are pretty pointless. Normal missions are faster. I can already pop a relic every 2 minutes or so, why would I want to add another 2 or 3 minutes on top of that completing additional railjack objectives that I don't find enjoyable. 

    Anyway that's just my take on it and I hope railjack does get some missions in the future based around space combat instead of trying to be a taxi simulator. 

  2. I'm going to be that one person and say, you don't have max out mods but it's nice too. However, I feel some mods can be compromised on such as primed flow. I'm mr 27 and using a rank 8 primed flow. Honestly it's enough for what I need and allows a few more points in my build for something else.

    Same case for my umbral mods, none of them maxed because without those umbral forma, fitting them can be a bit annoying.

    That's not to say I won't max them. Just not right now...soon.

    @(PS4)lydon123 the blueprint for the prime weapon should have a mastery value on the info panel when you hover over it, or, if you link the item in chat and then select the link it will pull up a larger info panel and show the mastery requirement as well. As for better tool tips, you would have to ask a member of DE, but if you know where to look for the mastery requirement info it’s very quick. I play on PC, so I don’t know what the UI looks like on PS4, but I imagine it looks very similar/the same.

    Of course the mastery rank is there pretty clear but I'm talking about information that explains specifically that you can't trade prime blueprints that is of a higher mastery. All it said on the trade screen was partner locked. I have not traded for a year or two and I still don't know why they put this system in. Pretty sure we used to be trade anything with anyone regardless of mastery. 

    Just wish there was a bit more information available in game is all. 

  4. Have not traded in a very long time and had no idea this was even a thing. Is there even anywhere in-game that explains the trade system because it would have maybe saved myself and a newer player I was trading with the confusion.

    Why was this change even implemented and are they ever going to add proper tool tips to explain the game systems so we don't have to immediately scower the internet to find solutions.

    I suppose it depends on the user. I have put a lot of thought on turrets and built all the stock ones and tried them all. Even after suggestions that apoc, cryphon and carcinnox are the better ones, I settled on the pulsar for my pilot turrets as I find it harder to lead targets with a controller and pulsar is great at popping tether which does the majority of damage. Have not settled on gunner turrets though. Stuck between carcinnox and cryphon. I despise the photor. It's the only turret type I hate. 

    I can confirm artillery cheap shot is well worth it. That 50% chance to not use a dome charge has been a big time saver for me.

    Got a lavin reactor cooking. I know a vidar gives more avionic capacity but i didnt think i would equip all the tactical and battle mods. I may build both xD I got ordinance damage on as i'm guessing it allows you to one shot the shielded crewships?

    Thank you for the tips. I have not even tried the murix yet as i've been farming gian point while also trying to grab hyperstrike although I may not need it as tether kills pretty fast. Did not know about aiming at crewship engine nacelles so that will be handy. What the hell is the 3 turret dps intergrated avionic? Still waiting to grab particle ram but just bashing in to everything normally is working alright so far although not as efficient. Been using all pulsar on all turret points but may switch back to apoc or even the ice shotgun thingy.

  8. So I feel like i'm in the minority when I say this, but I am really in to railjack. Got a decent railjack with Almost maxed stuff and some hitscan (because leading targets be hard for console plebs like me) pulsar turrets. Only have tether right now which kills damn fast. Just missing hyperstrike (0.3% drop chance at best for one of the most important railjack mods. Really DE?).

    I was hoping to get some suggestions for anything pertaining to railjack really. Weapons, mods, tricks and warframe synergies. I think I heard somewhere rhino's damage buff doesn't work anymore which is a bummer. I have not used any other tactical or offensive avionics so any suggestions would be appreciated. 

    Loving railjack, just wish it had more game modes.

    Maybe, depends if this is happening to absolutely everyone on ps4. I doubt it though as there would be maybe a thousand or more people posting on this? I don't know the numbers and have not checked to see the player count on ps4. Anyone confirm people still playing wf ps4 anywhere out there?

    Not yet. It seems this all started about 11 hours or so ago. It happened to me last night but there were not as many reports as there are today. It is very early morning where DE live so i'm hoping they will adress the issue after they wake up and have a cuppa. If not then get the pitchforks lads. 

  12. I tested a few other games on the platform to see if anything else had similar issues.

    Battlefield hardline, division 2, neverwinter, star wars battlefront 2, star trek online and the forest multiplayer all start and work fine.

    Now this doesn't mean there isn't a game out there experiencing the same sort of issue but this seems to me to be exclusive to warframe. Warframe was working fine yesterday until the evening and there had been no psn updates.

    Warframe has always ran like a potato on ps4 ( at least for me) even with decent download speeds of between 30 to 40 mbps. The only game on my console right now that can't communicate with psn is warframe. I'm not a tech head but all the evidence points at this being specific to warframes connection to psn.

    Would be nice if DE's people reached out to sony's people or they looked deeper in to it rather than dismissing it as 'it's just psn lads', or if they have made steps, at least communicated with us. It's been several hours and all we have had is a dismissive post on some down detecter site? 

     

     

     

  13. After completing the first part of the quest some time ago, I decided to finish it. I acquired all the revenant blueprints and I built and claimed them but when I go back to the lake at night wearing the revenant mask on my operator, there is no sign of a continuation of the mini quest. Am I missing something? Was I not supposed to build his parts? Something I have not done yet?

Razzy postures up ''Sorry lady but I have a date with vengeance''. Razzy takes the element of surprise, pulling out a shock grenade from his belt. The shock pulse surges through Evie and her Kubrow giving Razzy a few vital seconds to run away as fast as his legs could take him.

    Razzy was now lost in a Tenno dojo with a Dangerous Tenno aware of his intent. Razzy curses his own stupidity and big mouth and proceeds to wonder, frantically trying to find a way off the Tenno station knowing that his only chance of salvation and retribution layed within the energy of the Void.
