  1. Same emotions as Kela de Thaym rework - syndicate start, some boring arenas with no reward, and easy final. Last time Kela was made the most hatable boss mission (after Vay Hek i think) for it's time waste and being unnecessarily complicated (i understand your position about oneshoting bosses, but why force players to run 80% time and then still oneshot bosses or kill them while running in circles? it's not interesting or complicated, it's way more boring and nervous).

    Same thing here i see - useless dumb boring arenas, money wasting in missions (no more than 10 points of advance, really? it's idiotic, even being around role-players), and then brocken untested boring infesed grind (why new mission type must be allways bugged? why everything is allways bugged in warframe?) for a little chance of new warframe. Seriously? Atlas, Mesa, Saryn, Equinox and others needed a new friend? Even a prime one is really easier to find.

    Or will we have 14% chance of relics on rotation C only soon? I will not be surprised. Oh, and even when we grind it's parts, we will need 5k nitain and 30k kuva for crafting... one part. And then it will bug and dissappear. That's how i see Warframe in next year. Thanks for New Year mood, DE.

  2. Grindy biring quest with weird mechanics and credits losing - same emotions as watching a filler in your favourite TV series\cartoon. You can make something much better. Is this quest made by a bunch of greneers?

    5k mutagens for a weapon - i've played >1400 hours and i have less than 2k mutagens, DE. What's wrong with it?

    Still no possibility to make quest warframes like Chroma - will it be forever?

    Invisible nully bubbles are funny. different graphic bugs too, but may be they should be fixed? "My visual sensors are... BLEEDING..."

     

    DE we love you, but (and that's why) such things hurt so much when we know that you can do a masterpiece.

    I'm not saying I love those common mods but if they weren't there, when you actually get a relic or something "good" it wouldn't feel as rewarding.

    So i talk about exactly that mods, that there would be better to get 100 endo instead of some common trash, not to get relics every 5 waves. I understand things about tradeing balance, but i just try to find logic too. On "hard" missions 30+lvl we got better relics, more credits and exp, sometimes more endo, but mods are still trash. That's all what i mean really. Just wanna some shiny thingy instead fast hands or magazine warp i think :) Same about sorties - dropped only 1 riven mod for all time (first day they appear) and somebody got them all the time when others got lenses. Random is cruel and not everything must be random i think. It isn't good when you got nothing for your time and efforts.

  4. Why do different trash mods for 1-5 ranks still drop on hard defences instead of relics? It seems same as getting forma for radiant axi relic or small lense for Sortie reward.

    I don't mean that we must get relics for every 5 waves, but why useless common mods on 40+lvl? Random is funny, but not when you didn't have any E1 relic for days even buying syndicate relic packs or farming Kala-Azar\Zabala.

    it is funny, when people farm something with Valkyr, Ember or Mag for example and then think that they are awesome. Try solo 300 mobs with Necros, Mesa or Hydroid - then we will see your skill. But now you just look like ignorant rich kid, who needs more attention than he deserves. If you are a founder and max rank - you are not better than any novice on 1-3 earth missions, all players are equal without reference to their achievments or results.

    About farming before nerf - imagine that dollar (or what money do you use) exchange rate fell - it looks similar for me. And yes, you prooved your " skill" for yourself, nobody promised special rewards, there are no "hard" or "easy" variants of this event or am i wrong? You've got furax and mods, piece of lore and saw something new, haven't you? Somebody took it back after nerf or you are just selfish a bit?

    About players, who say "that was easy even before nerf" so, and what? What's wrong with you? Are all warframe players 20+ rank with full builds? Or near half (i guess) are 5-15 and struggled on 2nd step, even not 3rd. I farmed event too, but with not cheesy build it wasn't easy for my (btw i usually farm any mission without problems), it was not interesting or challenging, it was like "afshthsthsrfh dat lasers\rockets again". My trinity with link and ult and frost with armor and globe died from 3-5 shots usually, when people with valkyr don't even noticed any threat. Is THAT fair? But you want refund for your time "lost". Best refund for such players i think would be valkyr nerf or rework, cuz she is most brainless and easiest frame of all, even worse than rhino and ember.

    Just relax, play and take it easy, warframe is a game, not a job or competition.

    And well, i like these little stories and event, you wouldn't want to main story to progress with a fast pace now would you! I like to take it slow and enjoy things slowly.....sometimes. I don't know why you feel this way about these events, they're intriguing, I love the new faces, love the new interactions with the syndicates, love the new boss, love the executioners, love the story, love the new game mode. And you bet, this event is going to affect a bunch of things in the future.

    And yes I do kind of agree some things here, the event is too short, it took me only like near an hour to finish everything.

    Blame my English skills, i'm misunderstood again :(

    No problem in difficult missions, problem is in farming of them dozens of times instead of relaxing. We have dailys and raids for hard play, survival\defence for some hours, etc.

    I do love events, main and side quests, every little part of lore and story, all the characters, i even like to grind for hours sometimes for no reason. I don't say that it must be in every update, but i yet don't understand, why there is ONLY grind ~80% of times. New event - grind, new weapons or mods - grind, new quest - beginners must grind (some of my friends stopped playing because they just tired before Nata quest). Sure, game type is like diablo and consists of grinding and equipment building, but i know, that DE can do very interesting things like parkour challenges in tower and derelict, quests like second dream, creepy moment like orokin language message and excalibur silent video call in tower, atmospheric moments like Nata and Vor prize quests or fomorians destructing relays etc... I never blame DE, i think that they are most awesome game developers ever, that's why i'm so dissapointed about events like this or Gradivus - they do hard work, but we have 90% grind for 10% lore most time. Maybe it's just only my opinion and everybody prefer grinding and farming to reading and thinking about setting and lore?

    Sorry for long comment again, it should be really excess - i just want to know, if somebody have same tastes and point of view. Hope that my thought is clear.

  7. Not really. After the war they were heroes, there were even a parade to honor them and only during this parade Lotus controlled tenno. Yes, at first orokins (not all of them btw) thought of them as you've sayd, but one of their council (Margulis) get tenno a chance. She could be named our mommy, not Lotus, who betrayed her own faction and just has us as puppy-toys and soldiers.

    I think that if something - tenno can cooperate without her (internet or cellphone lol), so on we have many other friends (who don't really like Lotus) as Simaris, Teshin, Alad and others.

  8. Tenno may be not so bad themselves, but Lotus is violent, egoistic and cruel betrayer (imho).

    She controlled tenno, made them genocide their own nation, maybe even friends and families when they were defenceless and then just "turned off" for long time. Now she needs tenno to prevent grineer and others from finding and punishing her, she lies to us that we are "balance keepers" when we must kill billions of simple warriors and scientists, who done nothing bad to us or her before we started to murder them.

    One "good guy" there is Stalker - wants to avenge his folks and prevent violence. Did you notice, that he even couldn't kill a child in the end of second dream quest? He is not "evil" for sure, same as Alad and Tyl Regor i think. What if we are just misguided again?

    yes, but 60lvl - not 100+ on tier 3. dat oneshoting is not interesting, it's hard and long and boring. when i want do some hard things i go to work or training, in games people usually REST and have FUN, am i wrong? there is darksouls and smth alike for people who want to die every minute and take almost nothing usefull like weak weapons and weak mods for weak weapons (just my opinion. and sorry - i'm just burning now).

    i love DE, warframe and because of it such events make me melt - not useful, not lore, not interesting missions - why? new kela is scary more than infests, we need to help grineer deserters for no reason etc.

    im really sorry for such aggro and whine comment, but after long waiting and expectations... THIS event? really? then near month of silence, and then? should we expext hard grinding event again? why not team event with different logic tasks, why not choice between different factions for every player (like corpus vs grineer, but personally and with effects in future quests), why not lore or characters reveal...there can be a lot of ideas even better, but we have farming simulator and this is sadly.

  10. mission levels 60-60 = fighting 94lvl mobs, which oneshot full equiped frost-prime, nice.

    can it be done solo? and what about low-level players? farm first mission 100 times?

    truly, i expected this event to be more... friendly. not easy, but little more balanced. may be scaling from player equipment or smth. if somebody wants to grind - so, there are a lot of ways for it, why do event the same grinding?

    may be i just do something wrong (i hate valkyr, yup),or it is too complicated, but thanks for event anyway. and sorry for my bad english)

  11. Looking from the other side - its easier to farm some stuff for 20 plat than 50k reputation with Simaris (because of maximum per day) or just donate. But it is still undone as for me - too much work for such miserable profit. You can move pretty fast without parkour modes and make a good build without 6-7 formas (max i have - 5 in old necros, polarized when there were 2 more slots).

    It would be just perfect if Exilus slot worked as aura (even without doubling points) and we had 2 more usual slots. Anyone agree?)

Sorry, i think that i've released my thoughts wrongly - i like melee (especially my boltes with 16k spin dmg) and have enough experience of such type of combat, i have not got big problems or something, just comparing safe ranged weapons with dmg over 1kk and melee... I think they are not same powerful (just my opinion).

    And about new parkour i want to say that it is more complicated and bit less usefull than i expected and i think it could be. Aiming while flying and wall sitting don't worth of deleting old weapon moving, and wall jumping were better, as for me. Different void tower challenges and just running maps were bit faster (just my opinion again) and convenient (and there were less bugs).

     

    Melee requires a good understanding of game mechanics to really succeed at it. That doesn't mean its' bad, but your average player won't be able to pick it up and master it like they can a gun. 

    Generally speaking, melee requires that you be highly mobile, that you can mitigate damage effectively, and that you pay attention to what your team mates with guns are doing so you aren't doubling up on their targets. 

    Damage mitigation comes in a lot of different forms; Ash/Loki's invisibility, Excalibur/Mirage's Blinds, Nyx Chaos/Absorb, Nova's Molecular Prime, Rhino's Stomp, Trinity's Link, the list goes on and on. Try not to take this too personally, but you aren't really pulling your weight with your own damage mitigation abilities if you feel like you need Trinity to keep you alive. You should be pretty self-sufficient regardless of what you play as, ranged or melee. 
     

    I know and agree completely, but i have no problems in killing or supporting and farming at all, i just want my tipedo-flying back) About Trinity in that sentence - i just meant her 2 skill for enegy to stand in block because 1 shot of eximus corpus in tower drains 40-50 energy on the average (in the beginning of missions), not her heal. I dont know am i self-sufficient enough, but i farm T4 solo without problems. And yet again, if somebody can easily farm with ranged or abilities, why using melee is more complicated and less useful? It had it's power in fast moving, now - not. That's what i wanted to say.

    (hope this time i outlined my thougts better, i speak english rather rare, usually translating something for friends or read, so sorry again)

  13. It does have a large cost, and comes from "ancient super advanced technology" should remove cost, didn't think of that. Tyl Regor said "Is this some kind of primordial Forma?" ... yet we've come this far with Lotus and never had an exilus slot? Its like Lotus holds back ALL INFO because she's afraid of revealing her origin. Even Simaris gave us goodies, now Teshin too...

    Oh, i thought that only i never trusted to Lotus) *please help, where can i find lore discussing threads?*

    About exilus i completely agree:

    1) we need to find random appearing oculyst

    2) complete the quest

    3) buy blueprints

    4) craft or buy 2 formas

    5) craft exilus

    6) polarise frame 1-2 times to get points for 9th mode (thiefs wit is most usefull in this slot as for me btw)

    *7) make another frame of some types for another builds because of different polarities

     

    Is it supposed to be like that?

    I respect developers' opinion and view, i like new parkour almost completely (except wall jumps which i see bugged, strange and too complicated comparing to old), but just want to ask - why you delete weapon spin and jump attack movement potental? Now melee weapons like Tipedo (weak but fast) are almost useless. And if we can't use melee weapon for faster moving, what for should we use it? Cut 40- mobs? Block attacks and die in one shot on high lvls when energy is gone? And how many situations are like "i'd like to just stand there and block, but i need Trinity or tablets for this interesting and useful tactic" or "i will run to an enemy and block his shots and then cut him for an hour" e.t.c

    I don't whine, but melee is actually not as strong and useful as other weapon, why nerf it's strong side and variety?

    Please, show me where i am wrong.

  15. melee weapons disables every 3-4 missions, this happenes in different locations and mission types randomly. this is an old bug, but before 17 there were some ways to make weapon usable, but now they doesn't work.
