Oh, no, to clarify, I didn't read your comment as "triggered" or anything of the sort... I just understand that text doesn't always clearly communicate intended tone, and so I prefaced it such that you'd know I was trying to be constructive, and not a jerk.

yeah i figured as much and its cool 🙂

I mean this in the nicest way, so please don't take it as an attack... but your boredom is more a reflection on you and your life choices than it is on the game.

I mean, I get bored watching sports...doesn't mean sports are bad.  Clearly there are HUGE fanbases for them, so my boredom is just me not knowing what to do with myself.

And there's absolutely nothing wrong with playing other games, too.  I'm not sure why so many posts on these forums seem to make it seem like "it's either them or Warframe!"  Like, why choose?  Warframe isn't even a DISC, so you can very easily have another game ready to load at all times!  Noone is wedded to it.  Play what you feel like playing when/if you feel like playing it.

But DE, nor any other dev, can realistically be expected to ALWAYS keep EVERYONE entertained ALL the time.  That's just way too much to expect from -anyone-.

When I got my start in entertainment (I'm a career magician), I began practicing by going to local tourist spots and boardwalks and performing for crowds I had to work to draw in.  Sometimes, people would walk away, apparently either not into my style of performing or maybe they couldn't see from several rows back once the crowds had grown...

...regardless, at first it bothered me.  "Oh no! They're not having fun!" I'd think, and I'd struggle to please THAT person, but then I'd lose others as it pulled my attention away...  I began juggling the attention of everyone, trying to please the whole crowd, seein those who left as "evidence of my failure to entertain".

It took some time, but I eventually realized... As long as I'm doing the best I can to perform my material, and I'm confident in it and some people are engaged... it isn't my JOB to entertain -everyone-, because not everyone will be my audience.  Those who wanted to watch, stayed.  Those who didn't, left... and I let them.  What resulted was my crowds became more about quality than quantity (and eventually more of BOTH!).

---- The reason I say all this is to point out  that just because we see people vocalize their complaints about DE on the forums does not mean DE isn't doing a good job with Warframe...or more specifically, it doesn't mean they aren't doing what they -intended-.   It's more likely those people complaining just aren't meant to play Warframe...pure and simple. 😕

Some feedback is legit, but hey...at the end of the day, it ain't for everyone...and THAT'S OKAY!!!

I'm not offended or anything, sorry if that post came across like i was bored out of my mind and all. I used to play a lot of WoW years ago so i replaced WoW with Warframe and as such probably beaten my hours played on it as well.

Going back to my Football metaphor, though... does the award-winning pro not already HAVE "1000s of hours" invested?

yeah most do i would think but the pro's do a lot of stuff with their time on the game as well.

i have well over 3.4k hours in the game and i stay busy, especially this week with building stuff in the dojo

anyway i do think the pro players do get jaded and burned out and take breaks to recharge and play other games and return when they are ready.

but myself as a clan leader i can't take breaks really or people may just fall off on playing enough to get anywhere in the game but then again i don't get paid for being a clan leader so it doesn't really matter if someone continues to play or not.

I do that too, I help run a competitivr clan and a casual moon clan as well but contrary to most people here, I like to occasionally fail a mission. Why? Because it means I'm being tested, pushed, instead of sneezing too violently and wiping the map clean of enemies.

My clan is a shadow clan thats been around for a long time on PS4 and i don't think i fail often but i like to set an example of what a player can do once they get enough gear together and learn the ropes. I have a couple guys that joined the clan last month or so and went from MR 2 or 3 to now 12 & 13 because they enjoy the game and listened when i explained things how to level up MR.

I think you need to factor into consideration, the thousands of hours invested on the game that encourages us to keep playing and to be despondent when there is nothing interesting to play.

this is a current problem for me because no new games are out atm that i'd really dedicate time too so i stay focused on running my clan and helping my members. I had a new member join today ask me about if i get bored with the game and i replied with yeah i'm bored right now with it in fact and i told him i do play other games. but i enjoy playing with people on the game and all so i can deal with my boredom as such.

  6. the wolf is a bit of a pain in the ass but if you have some way to strip his armor off it becomes easier to deal with but then you gotta have some form of CC to deal with the fugitives.

i usually have my cat with sharpened claws mod to strip that sucker of his armor then blast away with radiation.

Same!  Just like how retired Football stars might mentor/coach new players 😉

Man, I just don't get why people expect to be bribed to PLAY A GAME.  That'd be like expecting someone to pay ME to eat THEIR cake!  Like...I enjoy eating a cake slice.  I don't need to be begged to do it...nor should one expect I would.

well i talked to a member of my clan that was playing Destiny 2 earlier and asked if he was gonna get on Warframe at all to play since he hasn't been on in weeks and he said "Nah" and i was disappointed in hearing this but i also understand if your enjoying another game and or too far behind in content on a game its hard to wanna play it again.  I'm not even entertaining the thought of begging people to play the game but if they just don't even try anymore and say are inactive for 30 days or more i message them and if no response they get the boot. I don't have time for players that don't enjoy the game or players that can't dedicate some time to a free game that has more content then most full priced games.

One of the major issues I see with Warframe is people don't understand that there IS a ceiling, inevitably, they will reach in skill or power that DE just either cannot or does not wish to keep up with.

If you're a football player, and you win the Super Bowl....You've arguably reached the pinnacle of your career's "skill" level.  There's no higher award to pursue.

But do we then create SUPER Super Bowls?  NO! Of course not! That'd be silly.  Those players either keep playing additional seasons (repeating the same content, more or less) or they retire. That's it. ..they've won.

The issue you have in Warframe is players not accepting they've "won", and demanding "There must be more!" when DE just...isn't there yet.

THIS is exactly why, personally, I just play for the sheer fun of playing.  I shoot and slash hordes because it's fun.  Not because of the reward at the end...that's just icing on the cake, as it were.

I recruit new members to my clan, teach them how to play, help them along the way so i'm not doing high end content with just randoms 🙂

  9. what about having a squad with 3 or 4 corrosive projections ? this would mean enemies have no armor really at any point in the mission so saryn won't be much of a "Requirement" for any missions just have a good weapon and it becomes easy as hell.

ran a 1hr kuva survival with clan last week with 4x CP and everything was dying without me or anyone else using saryn or any other meta frames.

Atlas Prime would be chronologically next. However, unless Itzal Prime, Corinth Prime, or Guandao Prime enter his Prime Access, I could see DE skipping him for a better selling Prime. Atlas desperately needs a new kit.

I doubt they will touch Atlas again since the rework they last did with the rubble, turning enemies to stone being a one cast instead of a channeled ability and the endless one punch memes of its first ability.

my banshee would strongly disagree with the above.

so you're saying your banshee can take down lvl 100-150+ enemies with ease ?

this build i'd love to see so i could try it out myself lol.

I named off banshee, ember and ash because of the reworks they all got which were more or less nerfs and i rarely see any of them in high end stuff.

You're error is to assume that everyone has fun with the same things.  I don't find easily completing missions fun, it's not why I enjoy gaming.  I enjoy gaming because it can push me to get better at something that can have depth (which is why I don't often use meta strats).  You can still have fun and push far into missions without touching the meta if you have proper knowledge of the game, proper experience playing around with it.  I get extremely nervous whenever something is obviously casualised and I have to think to myself "Is this what stops me playing?"

The problem with non meta frames for example is that they do crap for damage against high level enemies if your going into high levels.  frames like banshee, ash, ember won't make a dent against those enemies but frames like saryn, chroma, mesa all handle high levels a lot better but those are meta frames anyway,

Selfish: lacking consideration for others; concerned chiefly with one's own personal profit or pleasure.

shooting while penance is active heals the Team in affinity range.

killing enemies with Thurible active gives energy to the Team.

Covenant makes the team (in affinity range) invulnerable, taking damage during the start of invulnerablity phase gives the team a crit bonus.

Condemn suspends enemies preventing them from attacking back

nothing in his kit is selfish.

I dunno about selfish but i do find some skills pointless in most groups like penance & thurible can be useless when your groups don't lose health much at all or aren't energy hungry non-stop so 90% of my missions my 1 & 4 get used thats about it.

  14. you could also use other armor stripping options like sharpened claws or frames that can strip it like frost avalanche, mag polarize, oberon reckoning

with enough power strength any of those frames can strip most armored enemies including the wolf. I personally use kavat with sharpened claws 😛

I'd imagine an Infested ship would be like a larger version of the Jordas Golem, where we go in and literally destroy its heart to kill it, like killing a living warship.

As for the sentients, I'd imagine they would be different in combat completely, but due to how few sentients we have for reference I don't think I could figure out a good design for one.

I think it's all doable to me and depending on how they do the sentients as a faction it could be pretty different from others railjack.

you could have a team assault on sentients in space outside of your ship and say a team of two players have to fight outside while a pilot and gunner stay on their railjack to defend and assault team would have to fly around fighting and board the enemy ship to disable the enemy crew and take a weapon offline before it targets and destroys your teams railjack.

maybe they introduce more weapons that have sentient damage to them like the paracesis sword or some cheaper form of umbral mods or a bane of sentients mod would be a pretty good choice.

That's the "Abandoning the Wolf" thread actually, this might have just started international civil war 2 and that is no big deal there.

On-Topic: One of my more recent concerns comes down to how the Railjack will control, I'm expecting traditional Flight-sim controls, but also wondering if piloting it with an outside view will be an option if precision movement is needed (e.g. weaving between asteroids) Because cockpit only view will be somewhat difficult to gauge the wideness of the Railjack overall.

that does sound interesting as long as they don't turn it into an on rails style piloting holy hell would that suck.

I wonder if we will have ships full of corpus, grineer but what about infested how would they do that or what about sentients since they are supposed to be involved in the new war.

Just checking, I've seen typos like that send threads into 3 page long arguments between people who didn't even make the typo.

    oh god...the horror !

yeah thanks for catching that lol the last thing i wanna do is start world war III

  18. I really hope that smaller clans Don't get left out of doing railjack or have to join alliances to do it.

I run a rank 10 shadow clan for years and have around 22 players and don't see the benefits to making my clan bigger if everything will cost more and i'll have to double down on recruiting to have more people join to balance out resources for research. I've also kept my clan away from alliances because i just don't see what we could gain from it honestly.
