How about this, allowing people to slow down the game at their own pace if they want to would allow people more time, in the heat of battle, to admire each other Warframes, which is sexy. There is nothing cooler than to stand still whilst being marauded by hoards mobs whilst you mow them down with powerful weapons or abilities. Its just cool. Its cool to stand around whilst you are helping a new player who doesn't have the same gear as you and show them what they could be like with the same amount of time and hard work. I know this because this is how I felt when I first played the game, looking up to those really cool players/frames mowing down enemies that I couldn't even scratch. I got to stand next to them and chat to them, some times for hours and share information and knowledge then run off on my own and come back stronger.
Now no one has any time to stand still and admire the art in this game. or when they do its like walking through a boring art gallery in the relays or guild halls. People play cool action online games to look cool in battle but at the moment the only thing we have the opportunity to look at in battle is a blur. It just takes away a major attraction to playing the game Im afraid.
Ill remind you that you make your money from people wanting to buy cosmetics. allowing slower paced battles could translate to cash for you.
