  1. Stalker unfortunately isn't Shadow with his powers, despite similarities. You would expect Shadow to make an appearance with his powers, but Stalker sounds like an inferior version of Shadow, and Shadow is far more sentient in his abilities.
  2. That's a relief. I haven't seen that topic unfortunately or at least not all of them. Although I'm longing for nostalgia. The first quest "Second Dream" was revealing.
  3. *Chad song but it's slowed* We need a quest where he tries to escape Tenno fangirls trying to capture him.
  4. Warframe is Dishonored + Shadow of the Colossus. Come to think of it, Dishonored 2 had a fancy mechanic of decay/pristine environment as you jump through the void. This is what I expected in Duviri Update. Perhaps the lost islands will feature puzzles similar to those of Lua? The Spy mission has these mechanics.
  5. "It hung like a red veil across the sky. There was a great sound like tearing metal, and all at once a pelting rain fell. Not water, but broken metal chains." Damn, so we doomed Duviri to annihilation by freeing Rell from his curse. Sorry Duviri, our bad. With the new Warframe Kullervo and Rebbeca said "Piece of the world coming back" I think we'll be getting Scholar's Island or Necropolis as those sound to be the most lore-rich islands out of all. If it's the first, I think we might even meet Albrecht Entrati. Or his doppelganger. The Island of Lorn. The Galleria Island. Watcher's Island, etc.. The following updates will likely feature an expansion of Duviri and the lost islands, as well as Rell in this case. Acrithis even makes mention that islands in Duviri existed as far as the eye can see, now it's limited to what we have. As for me, I was always eager to meet Albrecht Entrati myself. Yes! You heard that right! The Orokin behind the whole gate technology stuff in Zariman and other ships. Or as I like to call him the Einstein of the Orokin. Albrecht is our grandfather after our grandmother Entrati on Deimos. Man, he won't like what happened to his family
  6. And then violate every single EE.log and privacy concern with every bit of draconian measure to compensate for that. Never gonna happen.
  7. Shouldn't very old posts be locked after a year? Respectfully, in the same year they were made.
  8. You would be right + sounds like a copy-paste asking for a Kavor Defector-style mission, especially if there is nothing to farm. But these are repeatable missions. Archon Hunt is like a Sortie. Unfortunately, the only thing coming to mind every time I think of this is "Operation: Tubemen of Regor". We don't have a special event like this for a long time.
  9. *sigh* Veilbreaker as a concept is fine. But playing as Khal was perhaps asking too much. Expecting missions like Kavor Defectors was what I was thinking in a world full of Narmer. Liberation mission and rescue of civilians. In a way, Veilbreaker already does that. Or destruction of Veil manufacturers. Khal missions are limited and require specific missions be done with cost resources and time to the dev team. Maybe, it is better if we put Khal as a strategist on the table. Or, add warframe-related missions for Veilbreaker and "Khal mode" if we so wish as side stuff. What do you think?
  10. It says "You are the hope and the future, Tenno". The first guns of Warframe or maybe Orokin void towers had these texts too as far as I can recall. (I think Lato and Lex had this but Lato instead says "evolution") Probably a placeholder text for everything in Warframe. Also, if you go to Fandom and search for Orokin language you'll find examples there, and this image probably answers your question. https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/warframe/images/1/19/Tennobet1.png/revision/latest?cb=20141102065605
  11. Unfortunately, someone ought to be right. While this is all fun speculation, not sure if Steve was the one who said something along the lines of "the story we want to tell in Warframe doesn't involve traveling to Tau". As the game has been around now for over 9 years I have to be honest, I’m constantly scared it will be over. Nothing can last forever. There are still loads of directions in which the game could be taken though. I’m not suggesting Warframe is finishing, as its ability to change and adapt content over the years is a huge strength the game has. Sorry if what I’ve said sounds wrong or stupid, I’m not very smart and struggle with words. But I like this game. A large part of the team moved out of Warframe to work on Soulframe. I doubt they'll have the manpower needed to make new big updates post Duviri unless they hire new staff. I feel like maintenance mode will come very soon.
  12. Shoot. you remind me of something. The Zariman reminds me of a movie. "Aniara". The whole thing is depressing. The ending had the ship reach its destination empty because the crew was already gone. And with this, it reminded me. The Zariman crew is dead and those were the deluded ramblings of a ghost. Yonta stepped into the Jaded light. She even admitted herself. They only exist physically because of our character. The moment the Zariman finally reaches Tau... or at least it's assumed. Zariman engines are powering a membrane. Or so she says. The moment those systems fail, Duviri is gone too. It's a miracle that thing lasted this long. Zariman is stuck mostly in the Sol system with the back end stuck in the void. Again "Why does It feel like we're moving?" Because the ship IS moving. Just very slowly. And before anyone mentions, I understand eternalism in case someone is wondering. We live in the reality where Yonta died. That's why this Yonta, the dead Yonta, can only exist in the void where all realities are equally true at the same time. She doesn't have our power of existing in all realities, because she never made the deal with the man in the wall. The moment she steps out of the void, she steps out of reality like any Holdfast. EDIT after you get rank 5 in Zariman you are bringing them back to life, they literally are saying that you gave them a second chance. But that could be a figure of speech, I don't know. Can spirits be made physical again?
  13. You are right. Antitoxins are no longer needed. Just adding that as an example of a farmable that doesn't impact anything in the lore, just essentials. Like Large Health packs. With the advent of Cetus, those things became a thing of the past. But Cetus should have them.
  14. The sad part about Duviri is that you can't use the weapons warframes use. Only swords. Also, no other AMP can be used. I'm pretty sure the Drifter can use a Strun or a Tigris. That was the original concept from the first trailer. That would be crazy if true. Looking at the Orokin Empire and what was before everything we already know. Good roleplay. Doesn't have to be direct.
  15. Except the Sentients aren't willing to just vibe in the terraformed Tau System like the forerunners they are, they're still waging war against humanity at large. Hunhow just formed a truce with The Drifter because they had the goal in common to help Lotus and punt Erra and Ballas, after the new war quest Hunhow's fragments still attack you and get in your way on mobile defense missions, and hostile Murex ships still show up at Veil Proxima (literally the frontier between the Origin System and interstellar space). Some come with the idea that there are multiple sentient factions in Tau. Lotus herself rebelling against her dad and brother and thus there are potential allies that just want to vibe in Tau's garden worlds. But they need us to help "mediate" things with their more homicidal counterpart. Also, define "sterile" for a Sentient. How else do they exist? I'm not sure what is the relationship between Lotus, or in this case Natah, and her "FamilyTM." Her dad Hunhow is on a spa of Neptune and presumably reformed or working as a beacon for sentients and pretending to be defeated since the start. Mommy Praghasa looks pretty dead after smoking an entire fireball. Her brother Erra pretty much lost his S#&$ and rambles for the kingdom come while his archons sing "hallelujah". Seeing himself as a failure doesn't surprise me he wants to become the ultimate clown. Pretty much Imposter Syndrome. Pretty much, the Sol System is the most dysfunctional system to ever exist as the majority of the system is still veiled. No amount of void surge is going to fix that. EDIT Either that, or the old royal family of the sentient is decommissioned and there is a new royal in town. Also, Parvos Granum is still comfy on his Temporal HQ aka The Void. Didn't age a bit. He amassed allies before the New War. This is the perfect opportunity to make a show-off and destroy the current hierarchy of the Corpus which is now weak after the New War. EDIT The sad part about Duviri is that you can't use the weapons warframes use. Only swords. Also, no other AMP can be used.
  16. Deimos is a content Island. You can't go down there and touch the surface. My proposition is that you can do both in Tau. But appears like quite a stretching for the Evolution Engine. Then again, they don't have to be big islands, and this is assuming sentients are capable of creating their own floating infrastructure as compensation for that. Yes. I understand people don't like content islands from every Warframe community I've been in contact with over the last month. I hear a lot of issues tying back to one key tenant: new game content is being produced without looking back, or as I like to call it "All gas no brakes" development. The scary part is that while duviri/new war were easy things to think about back then, one should look at now and see the stagnation of content creation. Then again, I'm not asking straight away something because I got tired of Duviri, I'm concerned about the expansion of the story.
  17. 1. I understand my topic might be a bit confusing as to its purpose, but it's about Tau and the potential direction to take to get there, assuming it's important to the story. As of now, it appears to have a lack of creative direction or purpose, despite what I assume seems to have a foundation laid there already despite the hints. But the devs haven't confirmed anything. 2. The other part is pretty much my personal crazy theories that may or may not help explain strange events, which are all speculative. 3. And while Duviri is out and we're having a fever dream, the system is in far more chaos than it was with Narmer singing "hallelujah" like aliens from another solar system spreading the gospel. My feeling is that it's an alternative start and doesn't seem to contribute to the story. At all. That's why for me, the story ended at the Zariman/New War chapter. 4. Also, apologies if my English isn't necessarily all that there. Better write small than big.
  18. Yes sounds impossible, even by my standards. But here goes the explanation anyway. The sentients are an interesting faction. I retraced my steps after The New War following Khals road toward the last known place. Then again, I made the quest after came out. Apparently, the sentient area is now a big crater and I found a somechord tune "For Narmer" on top of it. Then again, it's unknown what the Tau system looks like. Erra always talks about being a paradise, or it's just his new head talking. Get it? A new head rambling. Not sure if we'll get there. At least, not in years. Chances are, and the mind-blowing theory is, after the Praghasa tried to devour the sun, and most likely damage the sun, Lotus might have made an exchange with Wally to sacrifice Tau System for Sol System and repair our sun. Or he took Praghasa as his new vessel. Then again, I'm not sure how DE wants to go with that. Doesn't make sense for Wally to appear and then disappear like it's nothing. But Erra, or in this case Pazuul, speaks highly of such a place. So nothing must've happened. But besides that, Tau isn't a planet. It's supposed to be an entire system. There are still planets in the current system currently that use rather outdated tilesets or don't have a unique one. Furthermore... I don't think Tau System could be lazy. It's incredibly far away from the Solar System. Journey there is hard even by Warframe standards. So... That means we shouldn't see our factions there. No Grineer, no Corpus, no Infested. It wouldn't make sense for them to be there. And as for ourselves, unless we find a way through Duviri ourselves. No other faction is getting there by normal standards and most likely won't. So, to make Tau System, DE would have to make several new factions, with their own unique lore and tilesets, if such a thing is even feasible. Unless it's literally just Sentients there and that's it. Not to mention, all the work going into making another set of 40-60 useless nodes where people would only play on 10 of those. Or just another massive open world, but also looks like Avatar by James Cameron. Then again, only in the far, far future when they have nothing better to do. And by the way, I'm not just talking about floating islands, It's a mixture of content islands like Duviri with an actual surface on the ground and/or Sentient floating structures working as Islands too. Tau must be in chaos, as there is no queen or king there. or assuming that this is all that is left of the sentients and everything is in Sol System. And while this is not about Duviri, Duviri is a much-anticipated event since Railjack I believe, but while I'm tolerant of the new content, I see Duviri as nothing more than an alternative start and unfortunately, I don't see answer questions at all. I feel like without a map the road is bumpy here. And while Duviri happens, we're on board the Zariman figuring out stuff as the only refuge while Narmer is pretty much on the loose across the system under a new master, same as the old master, but he had a head transplant. To me, the story of Warframe ended at the Zariman or the New War to be more precise. Everything else is about Soulframe and I fear the creative direction toward Warframe is questionable. Assuming the lore to get there has been laid. My other crazy theory is, if Wally is destroyed, everything resets and that's a hard choice. No Zariman being stuck in the void. No Orokin Empire collapsing. No Warframes, no this or that. Or paradoxically you'll find another Zariman at the far end of the Tau System. Or a collection of Zarimans. "I'd figured it out! How the Zariman could jump all the way to Tau in one big bold leap: disabling the safeties in sequence. If I had it to do again we'd make it." ~ Archimedean Yonta
  19. With the redesign of terrestrial Corpus maps, perhaps sometime in the future, they'll add more of those. More importantly, why did they stop including farmable plants? Antitoxins/Apothics are needed and they exist, but nothing new besides that. You can do it pretty much with Oxylus and the Botanist mod now. This was with Warframe since the start. Because everyone liked the realism behind Warframe at the time. In fact, Sunlight Jadeleaf, Moonlight Jadeleaf, Sunlight Threshcone, and Moonlight Threshcone should be in Cetus. EDIT I'veAlso, i've a suggestion for the CODEX; We should be able to rotate our own scanned objects. Just like Ayatans.
  20. That's a shame. With Orowyrm we could've raids. Perhaps a modified version of Orowyrm. With the Void being reworked in the future, I believe Raids can become a thing with Warframes there and Orowyrm inside the deal.
