I know weapons like the Strun Wraith aren't available on the PS4...
So will the new operation (along with Latron Wraith) come to PS4? Latron is my favorite gun, and I recently migrated to PS4 from PC, abandoning my PC acct.

N-no... not this image... you're right but the letters aren't in this image, that star says: "F,F,F,F,<unknown letter, possibly Q or X>"
He means the captions. Look at the tip of each point and what letter it falls on.

The image attached is from a long time ago, but as I was reminiscing on my U7 experiences by listening to some of the older music, I noticed two things:
The Warframe circled on the left has a shorter "horn" than the standard Excalibur; also, the visor is cut off at closer to eye level. it is my belief that this is a preview of the proto-armor skin, which shares similar features.
The one circled on the right doesn't look like any Warframe we've seen; the helmet looks too round to be Ash, and is missing most of the features found on any other possible frames. Is this a scrapped frame?

I know the audio file I am mentioning is no longer available in this game, as of U14. But - with nothing on this topic confirmed - I am bring it to GD.
So back in the days of Warframe's past, when you were floating in space, there was an ambient track. I recently found it on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-RJsFe7EQE). The title is "Tenno Chant", and if you listen, you can here Tibetan monks throat singing in the background. Is it possible this is the elusive voice of the Tenno during meditation?

I don't like that way of thinking. So because you don't have enough time to play the game. You're denying them the right to play at all.
People have lives outside the game. I have people I know who work for the US millitary; the fire department; general stores and offices. A few of which barely have enough time to play let alone have time to spend with their families.
Like I said. I don't approve of a system that punishes older players because of a few bad apples.
My old art teacher used to do that and he was an absolute piece of rubbish.

No. My friends don't do that.
Once again punishing players who've worked hard to get where they are because some new players can't be bothered to play the game; and you say that and players can still buy prime weapons through prime access.
That is the slippery slope I liked to call "pay-2-win" and I've always praised Warframe for not doing that like others.
You assume I play the game often; quite the opposite. Like I said, I have a life outside of the game too. However, a game is meant to be played, not skimmed -- much like a book. You don't skip to the ending; you read the build-up so that it makes sense.
Edit: it's getting late where I am, so I will not be posting any more responses. I will gladly pick up this discussion tomorrow, if it is still alive.

May it be noted that in a game about being so over-powered, so much of the community has an issue with deciding how to separate the under-powered...

I don't see anything remotely profane. I'm just strongly opinionated when your discussion impacts my enjoyment of the game and the whole point and reason I continue to play this game. I have friends who play alongside me and they don't have the time to spend on warframe.
There are many reasons why you can't play more than 1 mmo at any given time.
If they don't have the time to play the game, then why play it at all? Either play the game, or don't -- that's my reasoning. Believe me - I'm no hardcore Warframer either. Took me a year to reach MR10.
HOWEVER, if you want to play with your lower level friends, play on a lower-level mission.
I can see where you're coming from, as will 50% of the playerbase, but on my 50%, I say play the game or don't.
Edit: Like I said, a friends-only option is a viable way to taxi...one of my main problems is that I end up playing with the taxi driver and passenger in my mission. I don't need to be responsible for the passenger's slack; dedicated players need to stay with dedicated players*.
*my username has nothing to do with my status as a dedicated or non-dedicated player.

No, seriously, taxis should not exist. You want to go to farm Sargas Ruk? Go ther by yourself. I don't have the time, nor patience to babysit unranked Mags on Cerberus, just because somebody taxi'd them there. Or - at least - make the planets mastery locked.

I'll play with my bloody friends on a node.
Not all of my mates have time to grind or feel like grinding. We just want to get into a game and play casually.
That was the appeal when I picked up the game in closed beta; and that's what I continue to do when introducing new friends into the game.
I don't care what whack crazy suggestions you come up with. I've worked my @$$ off to get all of my nodes unlocked. Yes. Let's punish everyone else because some newbies want a catalyst.

I can see where you're coming from, but if you wish to play casually with your friends, then play casually at their level. I, too, am a casual player; but I don't enjoy
a) seeing so many complaints about "nerf this, nerf that" on the forums because early game players play late game missions
b) playing with early game players in late-game missions; that leaves the others to pick up their slack!
Like i said, all of my posts are said with light intent and are meant for discussion, not profanity.

I started a thread here (https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/297549-warframe-needs-a-taxi-guard/), and I kinda got off topic -- which is why I wanted to create this new thread based on the new topic.
There are two things that need to happen:
A - Warframe Drop Locations NEED to be rearranged
It seems silly to access a late game Warframe from an early game boss, and vice-versa. Excalibur currently drops from Ambulas on Pluto, whereas Rhino drops from Jackal on Venus.
The Starter frames should drop from the first starter planets, being Mercury, Venus, and Earth.
Late game frames such as Rhino and Nyx should drop from outer systems, such as Pluto and Ceres. Yes, currently Nyx drops from Phorid, but perhaps Phorid could appear only in outer systems.
B - Taxis NEED to be blocked
Taxis allow players to play with their friends, yes; but you can still play with your friends without Taxis; the late game player simply needs to return to an earlier level with his friends (This could propose a new problem of mixing new with old players, but perhaps this can only be done with the "Friends Only" option).
Taxis allow new, inexperienced players to access late-game content -- which is extremely topsy-turvy. This is how MR2s end up with TIV keys; they then come to the forums asking DE to nerf TIV keys, which makes end-game content too easy for true late game players.
tl;dr - there is no tl;dr. Go back and read, lazy schtako (Fist bump to anyone who gets this reference).

This is what should happen: No taxis.
Your friend hasn't gotten as far into the game as you? Tough; he needs to play through the game.
What ends up happening is two things:
-Later-game rewards in alerts are accessed by newer players.
-Late-game Warframes are accessed by newer players*.
*Granted, the Warframe locations should also be moved. Excalibur should move from Ambulas to Jackal, and Rhino from Jackal to Ambulas -- because Rhino is a late game Warframe.

You can't get taxied on the star map as of U14.
We need to address the problems with mastery before we start using it to keep people out of keys as well.
Are you sure? I still see the chat being flooded, even after U14 hit. Not saying you're wrong; I haven't taxi'd since it dropped personally.

What's the point of playing a game if you're not going to play it?
Honestly, all taxis do is clog up the chat and ruin the scaling experience for players. I hate to refer to the old solar rail system (linear map), but it clearly showed the order in which missions were meant to be played. The game should definitely have a way to keep players from taxi'ing.
This is phase one on how to keep low MRs out of T4 Keys, which seems to be a common issue mentioned on this thread.

This is a neat idea, but would be terrible development-wise. Because you'd have to upload your file to a (non-existant) dedicated server, which would then recognize that if you were using Banshee, if you were using sound quake, then it would have to download the song to everybody's computer in your mission, and play it without flaw and correctly timed.
Edit: You said local; misunderstood. It'd be cool, but still a nightmare development-wise. The only game that I've seen do this right is APB: Reloaded. And even at that, it was a bit of a nightmare. Constant lag when switching/selecting a song. Granted, it was a smaller game than Warframe is now, but it still would be hard to manage. Ergo, not on my must-have list for Warframe.
Good idea, though(: In my 1.5 years on the forums, nobody has suggested this. Ever.

it seems we must have a weapon equipped in each of our slots to build a specter. i would like to be able to build melee only specters. if de keeps inline with each polarity symbol representing a tenno order should there not be a melee only tenno orer and thus to have melee only armies of specters?

Lol! Yeah I'd be okay with a plat-buy option. But trading was the worst thing to happen to this game, IMO. Well that, and the infested's scary meter being nerfed by a factor of 999999x.

In all seriousness, everyone has difficulty. That's the challenge of the game. No. They shouldn't be tradeable. I'm really tired of players wanting things handed to them. Here's a tip:
Play the damn game.

Skins/animations are coming out at a steady pace. Well, skins are. Not sure about animations; I would like to see more of those. If we can't have character customization, at least give us personality customization. Defiance did a great job with that.
Edit: Well smack my schtacko and call me Sally, I'm gonna go write a thread on personality customization x) Thanks for the idea OP.
