Huge FPS drops after today update (high end laptop)

after yesterday's update, as a host on paradox, I have notorious jams and I am not able to do the dungeons for frame-rates, the improved graphics engine was on all the time for me from the beginning. Everything was working perfectly before yesterday's update. I don't have a logbook because I'm not at my computer.
