  1. While their gameplay with the new Bond mods has created an incredible new meta, I have come across some glaring issues with Hounds' precept mods in regular gameplay. I run Null Audit and Reflex Denial on my hound, and in theory they're very useful. However, as abilities they can be extremely intrusive into gameplay, and outright hinder you from killing enemies in certain circumstances. For example with Reflex Denial, it creates a 12m radius Mesa Shatter Shield around the hound. Sounds useful. However very annoyingly, when the hound is standing next to an enemy attacking it, the bubble eats my bullets and glaive :/ And with Null Audit, if the hound eats a cold eximus, it becomes a mobile snow globe that eats every and all shots. Very annoying. These wouldn't be that big of an issue if your hound didn't insist on running directly in front of you at every given chance. The snowglobe is also full brightness, making it difficult to A) differentiate from other cold eximus', and B) difficult to see thru and see what on earth you're aiming at. (Granted there are accessibility settings to fix this, but that shouldn't be necessary imo) It's enough of an issue at this point that I'm ready to put the hound back into retirement and go back to my good old panzer, cuz at least he didn't actively hinder my gameplay. But it's an easy fix, simply make all bullets/glaives/etc go right through the snowglobe or shatter shield, that way it doesn't get in the way.
  2. Hello, this is my first forum thread so forgive me if I make a mistake or have used the wrong tag. I've been play for years and years now and have mastered the movement system. The introduction of special roll animations on certain frames has been interesting but I wish there was a way to toggle them off and use the normal roll instead. I'll use Xaku as an example because I've been maining him as of late. His "roll" feels really unintuitive and clunky to use in conjunction with the rest of the movement. I.E when you roll mid way through a bullet jump to go farther it just doesn't feel as nice, fast, or controllable as the normal roll. Emphasis on "feel" there as I don't think it's any different velocity wise in reality, it just feels slower. It leaves you lacking the normal "feel" of where your frame is and at what stage of the roll you're in so you can feel out the next move. I feel like there's two ways switching back to the normal roll could be accomplished. Either have a simple set of toggles for each frame in options, just like the tap/hold toggles, or have them linked to which animation set you're using on a frame. This could be cool because you could then use Protea's cartwheel on any frame that you put her animation set on, for example. Or we could have it be a new slot entirely, then it's a new layer of customization. Anyway, thank you for reading my wall of text.
