This is the way... Everything worth saying has been said, the situation is obviously bad, the people behind it knew what they did and decided to take a nice long break before they deal with the fallout. So the community is here, having to deal with it, just spinning their wheels and fuming.

That's correct, although I do not know the revenue split off the top of my head, see it makes sense that people want these things at a more reasonable price. Glad we managed to get there is the end 👍

I dunno man, how do they make money off of tennogen (5,99 - 6,99) or deluxe skins that run usually in the range of 165 plat or 8,99? You see that people saying these skins should cost 30-40 is 3-5 times what these cosmetics go for normally.

We can agree that there exists a long standing precedent for pricing monetization in the game for every type of item, including deluxe skin bundles and prime access packs. This was a gross overreach when taking all of those things into account especially on something like a 10 year anniversary and all the community wants is for DE to offer fairly monetized and consumer friendly options for them. The people WANT to give DE money at a time when DE should be celebrating the players that have kept them in business for a decade. Think about that.

If you enjoy their game you are welcome to hold them to consumer friendly standards that don't continuously alienate people willing to support them from doing so. That makes sense right?

Let's just brush aside the absurdity that you think cosmetics in a game for 30-40 dollars for 2 frames are CHEAP. Can you stop with intellectually disingeneous premise that DE has some sort of issue monetizing their game? You can buy almost everything in it for real money, where ISN'T it monetized is usually an easier question to answer.

These packs are clearly aimed at people who are invested in the game. These people don't need any of the items that are bundled with the COSMETICS that they actually do want. This has been endlessly reiterated in this thread. This is holding desirable items hostage behind a massive paywall of percieved valuable content (plat and aya) that no one asked for and no one wants.
