  1. As the title suggests it wouldn't have to be a rework to that augment. It could be a completely new augment. They won't make her 4th ability deal damage because when she first released it dealt massive damage and they decided that it was way too strong and nerfed it into what it is now. It really was way too strong and needed a nerf because you could stay in the ability for hours while nuking the whole map no matter what level. But, the nerf hit the ability way too hard. My reasoning is that the movement limitations don't belong in a game that revolves around movement. I mean there is mesa's augment but the transition is so much smoother than the long deactivation animation that Nyx has. As far as her mind control, that's an AI issue that they won't change. If they did AI abilities would be extremely overpowered. Which I'm not really concerned with balancing. The game doesn't really have any to begin with. The whole reason the ability has the movement limitation is because she's completely invulnerable when in her 4. Which is why I suggested making an augment that gives DR instead. It could be 95% doesn't have to be 90. But unless there's a trade off acceptable to the devs they would never remove the speed debuff. As far as Chaos controlled enemies they won't make them do damage to each other because well if they did, it would again just be another AFK do nothing ability. Which is why they nerfed absorb to begin with. If you had a status spreading augment like I've suggest her absorbed damage would be useful if it would prime enemies for Gun CO and CO. Obviously the status that it would absorb would be based on faction and at random so it wouldn't take away from weapon primers or companions because you would still need to focus things like viral for guaranteed viral procs.
  2. The game isn't "balanced" around going to level cap. And it would be an augment. You don't like it. Don't use it.
  3. While assimilate makes nyx immortal and is extremely strong, the absorb ability has fallen behind since all the changes that have been made to it. The drain is massive while the damage buff duration just doesn't last long enough to really take advantage of. That being said, it would be cool to see these possible changes: 1. The buff to stack up a bit quicker. 2. The buff duration to last a bit longer to actually take advantage of it. Now the other issue. While it does make her immortal the whole super slow movement speed and unable to use parkour IMO has no reason being a thing anymore. You know, considering we have revenant who is basically immortal with mesmer skin and doesn't have these limitations, nor is it an energy drain so it's extremely energy efficient. If the augment can't/won't get reworked along with the ability then I propose a new augment mod. Nyx absorb would no longer be invulnerable and give damage reduction up to 90% while storing status' dealt to her to reflect back on targets with confusion when the ability is deactivated. Obviously this could be kinda strong but at the same time status' can be stacked so fast already just using weapons so it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Just put a cap on the types or number of stacks that can be applied. It's more of just a primer ability while still retaining the identity of the ability itself in this case, and not needing to fully rework Nyx kit. She's already a great frame if you know how to play her, but the 4th ability just needs some help. Well and her first but we would just subsume that off.
  4. Not entirely sure where this should be posted so I am just going to put it here. For starters I'm not the biggest fan of the helminth system because it's imo quite boring. If you disagree with this then that is fine, but the reality is only maybe 3 abilities in the system are used and that to me is a major issue with it. You can nerf the abilities that are used but it will still be the same. To make a the system more exciting I would suggest making new helminth abilities which I feel like has been long overdue, instead of just adding the new frames abilities over time. With this I would love to see a pure helminth warframe that can only use helminth abilites.....When I say "helminth abilities" I mean only the ones that do not come from other warframes, that way nothing is taken away from current and any new frame releases. Obviously if the frame could use any of the abilities in the system then there would be no reason to play the other frames in the game and also still be relevant to subsume and place abilities on other frames. You can like or dislike this idea. It does not matter to me. I just think it would be a cool addition to the game, while making the system more interesting, and fuel all of our build crafting fires.
