Great idea. And while we're at it, why not make it so if you aim down with the Soma and fire, you can fly?
How does this even add to anything? Soma has plenty of utility already, Ogris does not.
Sorry but this game is not TF2 and It's not Quake. It's Warframe!
I should say less competitive and more grinding.
Well, adding new mechanics won't hinder your farming in any way.
I'm guessing you have Nova from your profile pic?
..and you want to rocket jump? (Wormhole?)
As a long term Quake player you will know that rocket jumping was fast, fluid and instant.
The Ogris uses a charge mechanic!
Sorry, just don't see the point, especially when you no longer have ammo to spare with the Ogris.
I don't see how my profile picture has anything to do with this idea, and rocket jumping is in a whole different area and a more fast paced mechanic than Wormhole would ever be, and certainly also more reliable.
Charging wouldn't really hinder it in any way as a single attack speed mod would make you able to fluently charge up rockets and make you able to fire while in the air. There's a rocket launcher in TF2 that is built around charging its rockets, and it's the strongest one in the game as well.
I certainly don't see how ammo is a problem either. Enemies drop plenty of ammo, and i've never understood how people could run out of Penta or Ogris ammo even after the magazine nerf. Something is certainly wrong if you manage to spend all 25 shells before finding any more.
But then again, this is just an idea that came to my head since Ogris really isn't that useful a weapon as it is right now.

As a former Quake and TF2 player with thousands of hours into each game i feel like we're missing a rocket launcher with some proper utility.
I, for one, would love to see Ogris get some more utility other than just standing 10 miles away and hope that something doesn't run in front of you and kills you.
Getting some rocket jumping into the mix to take down targets without being in too much of a threat area yourself, and not getting killed by the first rocket that explodes underneath your feet could add some great fun, and moreso, utility to this now underused badass of a rocket launcher. There are probably other great ideas out there to make this weapon viable without getting yourself killed all the time.
Feel free to share your own ideas or give feedback to this one :) -

Wat...

The hand clips into every frame that uses that animation, because it would be difficult to make it work otherwise (torso/waist size, hand size, forearm length, etc).
It really isn't that difficult to change to position of limbs for each individual model.
-
When using this Animation on nova, her hand(s) clip with her body, and her idle animations are all messed up.
Especially if you stand with a pistol in your hand, it looks like Nova is about to fall over from leaning so much forward. This could definitely use some looking into, so Nova is able to use this animation without looking all silly.
-
is it possible the enemies that still spawn even though you click extract may have killed it?
There were no enemies. It failed, that's all that happened.
-
Not much to really describe. Our team exit the game after wave 35 and got the mission failed screen.
Not really a bug you'd wanna run into, and it hasn't happened before like that.
-
It does get very repetitive. Taking a longer break from the game until hopefully something new and exciting comes out instead of running the same maps over and over for almost no reward.
-
I'm pretty sure it's intentional, and that it only blocks physical damage. Elemental damage seems to go through it nontheless.
-
Yeah he's a pretty pointless boss fight right now. Gotta use easy and silly tactics (not really tactics at all but yeah...) plus he still hasn't dropped a single thing after 10 deaths.

It happens if you first join a game on "Online", then cancel, and switch to "Solo" or "Private" without exiting the current planet system and reentering it.

Instead of making 20 different threads put them all together in one.

Mimic says hello.
Also, lol @ this thread. It's like, "Let's take stuff from RE and L4D and put it in WF, this will make the game much more engaging and not derivative at all."
And then Excalibur presses "4" - or better yet, "1" and doesn't even care.
Yay.
In all seriousness, yes the infected/infested need a redo, but ripping off other games is not a solid foundation.
No. Noone's talking about those two absolutely not scary games/series. Please keep it on-topic, atleast if you're gonna complain. And seriously. Scary stuff existed before those games, especially ceiling crawlers. You must be living under a rock since you make such a statement.

This thread should be about candy, we all love candy.

So people think ceiling crawlers would slow the game... Well that's exactly what I would like. I'd like everybody to actually play the game, search rooms, eliminate mobs and overall get in the military feeling of the game, not just rush like crazy, melee anything as fast as possible and go to the exit.
That just makes it boring and average. I'd also want the game to be a lot harder, not in the sense that you make enemies HP x 10, just more of them and more dangerous.
I love infected missions with that dark light and stuff, more scary things lurking around those levels would be great.
+1

It's doing charge attacks randomly when i tap E to do regular swings.
This is friggen annoying.

Man, I didn't sign up for this game to get the pants scared off me.
With all these suggestions, solo infested levels would be an experience practically straight out of a Dead Space game.
With the environment and atmosphere Infested maps have right now you would think the intend of them is to be abit spooky. So yeah, add some real spooky to it.

Sweet mother of god...

Everytime i restart my game it goes down to 1280x720 resolution while i'm unable to change it back to 1920x1080 until i change the display mode. This happens when i play in Borderless Fullscreen.
Would be awesome if you could fix this since it's the only mode i like playing in.
Running on a gtx660ti

Dear De - Please Add A Better System For Keysharing To Promote Your Community Wanting To Play Those Missions With One Another.

I, for one, am getting super tired of doing public "keyshare" runs.
9/10 times there will be some silly person who thinks that it's okay to just take off when it's their turn to use a key because they joined without any.
This is especially annoying when doing runs for Mesa or Hydroid.
Please, DE. For the sake of actually being able to do these things in public games, add a simple system so that you're able to copy/paste your key's itemcodes into the chat, and further avoid salty endings.EDIT:
Another idea would be to make keys way easier to farm, and require everyone in the group to have a key to enter the mission. This would avoid any kind of issues with people running away.
Another more harsh system would be where you could only use your key once in a party, but would require a rotation to use keys, and make you lose it if you left without a vote which would allow you to do so.
The first solution would probably be the best, and most friendly towards everyone.
