    I love the locker improvement idea as well.

    Affinity would be meaningless since we already have highly efficient affinity farm nodes, and the loot thing already exists with loot frames and it clearly doesn't hold much impact either when it stands in comparison to nuking. Nukes aren't for min max farming for the most part, they're just easy to use fast map cleaners for casual play and people rotate to them because it feels optimal, not because it actually is.

    Not sure there is a way to balance her 3 honestly, so probably the first one that should be ditched in a major rework if it ever happened.

    Mind control could just use some minor buffing/ai controls/improvements.

    Psychic bolts just needs to be redesigned entirely if it wants to be an armor strip, or otherwise be changed to have some other utility bonus, target capped small range armor strip though is nothing in this game. I'd say make psychic bolts a second tier of mind control, cap the bolts at like 6 enemies or so, and these mind controlled targets instead of being a secondary damage dealer like with her 1 instead apply like a debuff to enemies in an aoe around them, keeping on brand with the mind control aesthetic, and maybe even act as a minor aggro pull as well to help with Nyx's survivability outside chaos sphere.

    Her 3 of again i just can't see being balanced under its current function, it can't cause enemies to deal enough damage to be able to kill each other on their own or it'd be busted, but also if it doesn't it's just useless, so it should be scrapped. The concept is cool but it's not reasonable for this games balance. Maybe turn this into a big radial armor strip if anything, or fully replace with some other kind of large radius debuff. Or even vice versa, make it a team buff through some physic boost. 

    Her ult is weird because it has to have some cut off for allowing invulnerability, but it's also useless to just be immortal and immobile in this game, and I don't support an ability needing an augment to be of value, so maybe just let Nyx able to fire from within the globe or at least casts abilities by default, and the augment just adds the mobility option.   

    Just very rough ideas of steps to take forward her kit. (also this is in the wrong part of the forums, you want this in feedback for warframes)

    You got one of those right, Loki was considered super powerful back then, but Nyx poor gal has always been in a lackluster spot even in the days of endless void. She just never had good enough utility.

While plenty are touching on the more complicated aspects of UI design and their wants, can I just ask if I'm alone on feeling like those mastery badges look weirdly out of place with the rest of the ui's visual style/aesthetic? And why is it being placed front and center for the mastery test ui over the already existing lotus sigils which are far more explicitly affected cosmetic items by the mastery exams that would probably be more pertinent to show than a minor icon frame?

    I'd also be curious why a frame at all since apparently ui is deemed too busy as is, but that seems like a lesser conflict.

    Well excuse me Tim for having found something more enjoyable to play than what is the current meta. You would be correct in saying that it is not as effective as the meta, but fek you Tim I like it. You don't see me judging low mr players for not dishing out the most damage and kills, what gives you the right to judge me?

    I feel a bit bad about the time I spent, but there's no fixing that, I hardly expect a reward for making a choice, just glad other people won't have to put up with it going forward.

    DE will give two weeks notice before a season is going to end.

    That said, you should be able to hit rank 30 before the season ends given you could do it entirely in a day currently due to how far in this season is and the catch up system we have. All previous challenges you may have missed can be unlocked by doing all your currently active ones which means you can if you'd like marathon through the entire intermission on the last day even if you want.

    Intermission II began on October 21st, 2019,
    meaning we are on the 13th week.

    DE tends to give two weeks notice before ending a nightwave season, and going by last dev stream those two weeks won't be soon as it has been made apparent they only just started working on the next season the start of this month and they will want that complete before they close out on our existing rotation.

    The same could be said about the person slowing down the group, they are prioritizing themselves above anyone else to make sure they have the experience they want. I'd say odds are though the person going slow will go against more players interest than the person going quick though, since most people in this game seem to have a thing for being efficient and fast.

    This more or less, and while DE could probably make a deal for the concept after the fact DE has no history of using premade concept art for deluxes, even from artists/art they are fond of. At most they contact said artist if their art has drawn DE's attention and request a new design for a different frame for a future reveal. (this happened with nyx deluxe, whose artist was contacted after showing off several deluxe concepts for excal, nova, and frost of which drew DE's eye)

    That said, that concepts shot would have passed the moment the deluxe by Liger was revealed for Excal which more or less covers the same thematic style. Given how infrequent deluxes are DE probably aren't likely to do two deluxes in a row for a frame that have such a very similar visual theme. And they most definitely aren't passing it off on an entirely different frame.

    Armor is fine the way it works now. You won't meet those beefy eat every bullet boys normaly. Only if you go for a hour long survival run on mot.

    And even then our tools are more than adequate to turn those enemies into smears on the floor within seconds. I'm honestly not sure where this need for nerfing enemies is coming from right now when enemies are notoriously trivial in the game 90% of the time, and that the target is just the grineer who frankly aren't even the most annoying faction late game is just ugh. This game is brain dead easy and scaling is effectively broken (not from enemies, from us) and making enemies weaker under the current games state is only going to worsen DE's issues with game balance, content trivialization, build diversity, challenging content, and resource management/game pacing.

    Fix the bigger balance issues first then fine tune DE, like our entire damage system could use a look for starters. (higher levels just being a trade off of who one shots who first is a terrible state of affairs to be in)

    because that sounds super unhealthy and helps less than it would just being more reasonably available? honestly elitism is never a market i'll get into so my frame of reference will always be limited in affairs of gear exclusivity in games, i'm never going to see value in hyper exclusives except as insecurity points.

    They would if they didn't spend year after year before this one shirking the issue with one hand while also actively making it worse with the other. And rinsing and repeating it this year as well isn't going to help make it any better. (we also have to be real, they don't need to rework all frames to start on balancing this game, just extreme outliers like nukes and scale breakers like octavia)

    True, we'll have to wait and see how high the requirement is before fully reaching a verdict on how reasonable the change may be, but I'm skeptical it'll be worse than the broad levels of rng we had until present.

    What did they get before? The drop method for this ephemera didn't reward people for their time originally, it was just sheer rng, and now they are making it so its progression is more effort based and rewarded fairly for it, that's a markable improvement to what we had before if your care is in people's time being rewarded/respected.

    It was purely rng before, there wasn't an easy or difficult, just lucky or not. I know people who have 2 in under 100, some that have none in over 1000, difficulty is not relative to this change as it had no baseline before it. You could get it your first run before, or never, regardless of effort or expertise.

    Do not confuse randomness for challenge, there was nothing difficult about the previous drop method.

    I suffered over 900 runs and I am glad nobody else has to deal with that kind of awful design going forward, it was a terrible experience that I regret sinking my time into and I am very in favor of DE making the right choice to step away from such a hideous grind for this ephemera.

    3/4 Reds I found (each in that long final hall) gave ephemera. Don't know how many runs that is. Been doing them on and off since this thread started though.
