  1. So I was playing around with my glaive that thought of some ideas that I would LOVE to see in game. It's quite simple really. We have swords, but we also have 2 handed swords and dual swords. What if we got something similar for glaives?

    Like, the 2 handed glaive could resemble the sah chakram from black desert, just this giant ring of metal that you chuck around.

    And I was thinking for dual wielding glaives your stance could change based on how many glaives you've thrown. For example, you have specific attack patterns when you have both glaives, but if you throw one then the single glaive that you're holding could follow one of the stances that already exist for glaives, and if you throw both then you're helpless as usual. Also, with two glaives you can throw at twice the speed!

    Thoughts anyone?

  2. I was under the impression it was the outriders that did the healing, every time i destroyed them the healing seemed to stop... could be wrong.

    But then that makes the outrider's healing themselves really annoying because if you don't kill them after blowing up all their bomb things on their sides they become practically unkillable...

    Definitely something that needs to be looks at though. The healing is cool and all but some balancing maybe?

  3. Based on Cephalon Cy's dialogue when we try to access the requiem drive... what does everyone think it is?

    Does it have anything to do with the Duviri Paradox? The man in the wall? What's housed inside? It looks like void art!

    But i can switch between loadout slots

    Im experiencing this issue as well. Cant fix it by exiting the game because when i log back in im still not umbra, and the next step in the quest requires me to equip umbra, so cant finish quest

  5. Got into the game about 12 hours ago, had some fun on the plains, then had to go to classes. When I got back I kept getting the message "Update Failed. Some contents could not be downloaded from our servers." This is frustrating because no new hotfixes have even come out since then, so I should be fine. I have not found a way to fix this for about 7 hours now. Ive verified my download cache twice, restarted my laptop a few times and played with my internet connection and the problem still persists. Im currently redownloading and installing from scratch but I somehow doubt that will fix the problem. Ive seen various other people post this same thing, but I haven't heard anything about how to fix it. 

     

    Edit: Firewall doesnt seem to be a problem. I checked to make sure warframe was allowed through my firewall, and I'm not sure what else could be causing this on my end.

    Besides the very negligible armor boost, excal primes stats are exactly the same as normal excalibur. He's not coming back. this has been said over and over since the founder program ended and its getting a little repetitive to keep bringing this topic up. And to finish this little post up, just two words: Excalibur Umbra. Sure he was supposed to come like a year and a half ago, and might not be coming until next year, but he is coming eventually, and he looks pretty dang sick if you ask me. I have excalibur prime and I cant wait for umbra. Sure, umbra and prime look different. But theyre both gold excaliburs, so people should just be happy with that.

    Tons of armor for survivability, Rage makes it so you gain energy on damage to health, then you can use that energy in hysteria to gain all your health back.

    Melee Weapon Build:

    I dont actually use the melee weapon much, but melee weapons mods also effect hysterias damage. Hysteria has a 50% crit chance, so with this set up youll achieve over 80% crit chance in hysteria, plus crazy attack speed and enough damage to scale into high level sorties with no problem at all. I use this on bosses that are easy to get into melee range with. Displaying Warframe0011.jpg

     

    When youre not in hysteria just use your favorite weapons, but the most used end game weapons are synoid simulor, tigris prime, vaykor hek and so on and so forth. I basically just play with my tigris prime, and when my health gets below half or so, I go into hysteria and rage on everything until my energy is pretty low, then i bullet jump as high and far from enemies as possible to avoid taking the damage when i come out of hysteria, and continue on with my tigris. Its kind of fun switching between modes a lot, and since taking health damage gives you energy and valkyr has really low shields, youll always have a good supply for hysteria.

     

    EDIT: Probably not the best valkyr build ever, but its my favorite one, and it scales all the way to level 80-100 sorties so its definitely a good one

     Good thing riven mods are 100% optional then! Seriously guys, chill out on the riven hate. They're a pain to farm and purely RNG based, but they add some new and interesting things to the game if you feel like farming for them.

    This post seems to me to be about the lack of endgame. If so, I couldnt agree more. I basically just do the sortie, then run half hour solo survivals on sedna as different warframes to test out how hard or easy some frames are at solo play. Other than that, there really isnt an endgame yet. But chill out on the riven hate. If you don't like them, dont bother with them. Simple as that. Im not actively farming for any, just kinda take them as they come and keep them if theyre cool

  9. higher mastery rank raises the daily syndicate standing cap, gives you more trades in a day and allows you to use some weapons that are otherwise mastery rank locked. It also gives you more loadout slots in your arsenal, and the new riven mods come with mastery rank requirements.

     

    EDIT: yes they do "bank". Mastery points earned are mastery points earned. If you really felt like it you could let the mastery xp stack up for a long time then run 2 or 3 tests and rank up 2 or 3 times back to back. If you earn mastery rank points when youre at the "maximum" xp for your current level, the points are not wasted, they still count towards the next rank

    As for Kuva i believe every player should have a choice to farm anything he wants when he wants to. If you implement time gating you are just turning into cheap mobile game. 6 missions per what, 8 hours? That doesn't seem much, if i don't run with a booster its just over 3k kuva, or 2-3 rerolls. And we all know that bitter taste of rerolling based entirely on RNG.

    And finally, Ash. I don't believe for a second that he will be as effective as he is right now. This will be Mag rework all over again - first everyone will play with the rework and then abandon it, because they will know everything got worse. I play on a regular basis, i rarely see any Mag now.

    Please don't make any kneejerk reaction to the problems, put some thoughts, ask people's opinions about some reworks and only then implement it.

    I agree with everything you said about the sorties. I disagree on Ashe however. Yes, he's much more effective now than he will be after the update. But he's boring right now. Literally just press 4, sit back and watch as you teleport every where and murder things. As for mag, her magnetise is now her best ability. Like nyxs absorb, it scales as the enemies scale. The reason you don't see mag anymore isn't because she sucks, it's because you actually have to think before pressing buttons, instead of just pressing 2 and instantly murdering anything with shields (old mag).

    I get where you're coming from with the duplicate Karak Wraith Barrel, BP, etc, I'm still sat on a shed load of them, was hoping to eventually find value in them but invasions have skewed that slightly. Oddly, I never had a problem with that, stockpiling future worth is a two thumbs up from me.
    It's the 15 Riven Limit that really puts pressure on us to make sure they're the 15 chosen few, we actually want, if any are duplicates then you - do - not - want - at - all -

    The cap may not be permanent. Don't take my word on it though, that's pure speculation and I have nothing to back it up. Was just thinking that currently only rifles can have rivens. DE did that to limit the amount of chaos that would come with this change so the feedback would be more controlled. Eventually shotguns, pistols, melees will be able to have rivens, and when this happens the cap may be raised or removed.

    Remember this is a new system and nothing is set in stone in this game. Im sure DE appreciates your feedback

    Meh, in the old sortie system I got weapon parts that I didn't need, and Nezha parts that don't really sell because, well, sorties are easy. I don't mind getting useless things from sorties every once in awhile, as long as its not a common thing. It's a part of literally every farm heavy RPG. I understand where you're coming from, though. Maybe being able to break riven mods down into kuva instead of endo would be nice...

    Nekros prime access is ending in 5 days, so i would assume all the new prime stuff is all coming out pretty soon after that. Those items dont need to be on this list, as we already have a good idea when. Unless you're super duper impatient and need an exact date RIGHT MEOW HEK DARN IT!

    Riven mods are specifically made to REDUCE power creep. yeah they're RNG, and end game mods. But it an upcoming hotfix, riven mods for underused weapons will have much better stats than riven mods for already strong and popular weapons. Their not a power creep cancer, they're a pretty cool and unique balancing tool, and theyre totally optional. If you dont like em, dont use em. Simple as that
