  1. First of all you have to consider the age of endless mission. The endless defense mission type got implemented in U7. And that type as well as survival of U10 and interception haven't been touched upon since but is really solid and has held up.

The gameplay itself, however, has changed where people can now stay alive way longer then back in the days of U10.

The problem we're currently facing however, is that there is no incentive to stay longer then a singular rotation. Those who enjoy staying in missions longer than intended or foreseen get the short end of the stick by not getting any kind of increasing rewards inline of enemy level and danger.

There is some light found in this tunnel however. With the implementation of the fissure system we got a system that rewards (+ affinity, + credits and such) you for staying a full rotation not just 5 minutes as was standard back in the day. However DE did not go the full mile and increase rewards for each further rotation across all endless mission types. As it stands i can just sacrifice one relic after the other and get all of those additional rewards (+ affinity, + credits and such) by soloing a survival for a long time.

The groundwork in and of itself has been made with fissures. Expanding upon that would help DE keep Veterans active as there would be an incentive to play the game longer and with a dedicated group. That alone furthers the interplay with the community and build bonds between players.

The equation iitself is quite simple and you've all (probably) encountered it in life quite often. More effort = better rewards. However as it stands right now it's just More effort = same rewards as before. This proagates a playstyle thats just running a mission as efficent as possible and as often as possible (which scares the younglings and made quite a few quit outright).

In the end, as it stands now the old reward system of endless missions needs a serious overhaul, as it does not fit the current pacing of the game.

The recent update with endless kuva made this abundantly clear that a change to the reward system for endless type missions is neededand I have full trust in DE's ability to make that change.

No.. thats a fact.. all you have to do is scroll to earlier replies.. Because your having me post the same reply twice

If it's a fact then prove your point. Until it's proven it's merely an assumption. You saying it shouldn't be because you don't like the idea of scaling don't make it a fact btw.

im replying to your replies.. If you go back a couple pages you can see how you replied to my reply..

Why am i still playing? Because i love this game..  Why are you still playing?

Really thats what its all about is the fun.. If its about the rewards.. Why you want scaling rewards?

    Like i said

I want scaling rewards because not having them is hindering my playstyle of wanting to go long. Therefore in the long run I lose the fun of the game and start only logging in until content comes along.

Also it's nice you stopped strawmanning. However you went on to use ad hominem on me.

Mak a concise argument why scaling rewards shouldn't be in the game.

Because its a grind game.. They want you to come back for more.. Not just do multiple hour missions and move on to the next game.. Thats dedication

Altight let me counter your argument real simple then.

You do multiple runs which equate to hour long missions.

Why are you still playing then? The result is the same right now.

Simple: We're having fun but want to be properly rewarded.

Also please stop strawmanning. You are starting to disrail the topic and are being patronizing.

  5. vor 1 Minute schrieb Grimmstyler:

I think DE made this game for everyone to play.. Not just people with higher skill levels receive better loot.. Going a hour + is really just a player desire.. RNG decides whos king of the Hill for loot

Altright look. You might project your own ideas onto my posts. So let me spell it out for you,

I want better rewards for staying longer. Those who stay a singular rotation can do that and get the regular reward. If you feel like you have to stay long then get a dedicated group wiuth meta loadout and get increasingly good rewards. It's just this simple equation that holds ground in life. More effort is better in the long run.

Now please stop strawmanning and make a nice, good and concise argument as to why they shouldn't implement scaling rewards.

That's the point! The mode is designed to be "complete" at 20, hence the aabc rotation. Anything after that is just extra.

The mission is supposed to force you out based on it becoming more difficult and not worth it.

Have you considered that some people might consider it fun fighting against harder and harder enemies but just get annoyed with the fact that there is no scaling payoff in´line with enemy scaling. That is the whole endless scaling argument.

  7. Gerade eben schrieb zWhiteKz:

i myself want a mode so we can do it for "long time" with scaling reward too but at the current game and mechanic right now we cant have that and kuva endless is not a solution that just make heavy pressure on DE and make everything gone bad, hench the reason i make this thread to semi explain and some how hope people will understand and stop griefing for scaling reward cause it gonna get out of hand very fast like in the past

It's not even pressuring. They just have to implement the fissure system of getting stuff the longer you stay. Like more affinity and such. Now you could use that system in literally any endless mission.

    But they don't.

    And that should change.

Because you can stay there's and endlessly get Kuva.

People are freaking out like you don't get rewarded after 20 or that rewards decrease

No what people are freaking out about is that there is no incentive to do the current endless kuva since siphons and fgloods are just better. Consider also the fact that some peple don't have the time to stay in a misson for long, because they might have stuff to do outside of the game

  9. vor 1 Minute schrieb Grimmstyler:

I mean.. Why is it called a Kuva Endless? Mostly for the Kuva.. This topic hasnt came up before Kuva could be extracted from a Endless Kuva Survival.. There was no Kuva reward.. No one hosted a Kuva Endless before.. But now they do and want change..

Its fine how it is.. If the enemies are too hard.. Extract.. But if your doing it for the Kuva, It doesnt mean the level needs to be changed.. It doesnt mean you should get more Kuva cause you want that perfect Riven..

No it means I want simply scaling rewards for rewarding me for doin 1h+ runs that are currently on the same rate then shorter runs. It's the whole scaling philosophy behind it.

Do hard stuff =  get good loot. Do harder stuff = get better loot.

However right now it's universally (which means not only kuva in case you don't get it): Do harder stuff (like 1h+ in) = get the exact same reward then at the start.

The other stuff like mods and such? That's just additional flavor you can get anywhere.

  10. vor 2 Minuten schrieb Grimmstyler:

Yea weapons dont much matter.. Cause i use the same weapons for Kuva Siphons and Floods..

But Kuva Fortress just seems more convenient to me without back and forth animations.. But some people dont mind the back and forth, becuase of possible Floods..

But really if Kuva Fortress gave more Kuva than a Flood or Siphon it would really just make the Flood and Siphon nodes redundant..

Which is why scaling rewards would make sense, because you only get higher rewards if you take the added risk. The enemies scale at the moment, which is the risk. The rewards however don't. Currently at least.

  11. vor 27 Minuten schrieb Aggh:

I don't get it, have you even played the mode yet?  You can easily get 800 in the first 5.5 minutes.  And after that it only gets more efficient compared to kuva siphons.

Unfortunately for you, he is right in his math hell aborting right after the first one would be the most efficent. Now go do some math homework as it seems you need it.

Scaling is there for people with time, and that are after a rewarding challenge.

And i want Scaling rewards because I love endless missions, but I can see why some people don't want to do them. That's why I want the option in the game for the people that want to do it to be able to do it.

PS. @Hypernaut1 you should of relay of put this thread in the "Missions & Levels" part of the forms found at "Home > Feedback > Feedback > Categories > Missions & Levels" just a just a helpful reminder to help you topic get seen by DE.

This guy gets it! Totally agree with this and couldn't have said it better myself!
