Just had the same issue on PS5

Had this same issue and found a bandaid fix. Turn the setting on and then off again and that seems to fix it for one play session.

Since the last patch that disabled fog temporarily, I'm noticing some heavy screen shake anytime I attack an enemy. I doubled checked that it was disabled in the setting and it was.

So during the quest we basically find out Duviri isn't exactly real and is refered to as a dream right? So it's basically a lucid dream for the Drifter. So on the other side the operator is also stuck in a...second dream. The Second Dream quest is quite literally a second dream! Just thought that was a neat detail though not sure how intentional that was.
