  1. Was the Glaive Heavy Attack Explosion Nerfed?
    I am seeing a huge delay in when it'll explode compared to before the update.
    I used to be able to detonate it nearly as soon as it left my hand and now it seems like it has to travel like 10ish meters before it'll explode... and I have to keep mashing the button to do it.

    • If you have cleared all of the Duviri Steel Path nodes without the regular ones prior to this hotfix, you will have to do so again in the intended way (complete normal Duviri nodes and then the Steel Path nodes) to receive the Duviri Steel Path rewards. 

    What does this mean exactly ?
    is this the Circuit? or are there actual map nodes for Duviri that I somehow missed ?

    I personally would preferred a Toggle for Gara to have the Glass on always and never ... I know she is the Glass frame but the glass doesn't color well and I much prefer her body shape without all the glass covering it... Plus that lattice gooy glass skirt thing is just... ugh

  4. I Don't know if it's a bug or not but can you fix not being able to press the Gear Wheel button during a hack to auto use ciphers on Grineer Hacking ?

    When is the Armor Teshin offers going to be decoupled from the operator's gender ?

    Not so much for me but can you remove or give other ways to get Mutalist Alad V Coords ... because it's like 1 coord a day or 2, an hour to make a key saving up for a week then getting 4 mesa nueroptics in a row ...2 weeks in a row

    So Hard Mode is something that is up coming, so picture a Defense mission, Banshee drops a quake to stop Enemy advancement , Mesa clears out the trash, and while they are doing that Valkyr is now able to Paralyze a quaked Heavy gunner and execute her .. so she can be taking tougher units.
    That scenario seems to be what Paralysis was designed for but it doesn't perform. Valkyr isn't a 'group frame' not all frames have to have a focus on providing buffs for the team, but despite her being more of an independent frame , you role in a group is still important. She doesn't do mass CC, or trash pick up, or point defense... You see that big enemy thumping their chest and running toward your buddies or the defense target... it's her job to trade blows with it and you can see that in her kit.
    Ripline to get to the heavy enemy or to get the Enemy away from the defense target, Warcry to bolster her armor slow the Enemy's actions and increase her attack speed (( it affecting allies is just gravy )) Paralysis to stun tougher enemies for a faster dispatchment or very least a larger chunk of upfront damage , and then hysteria for when the crap hits the fan and she has to attack and defend at the same time .. or attack amid area damage .. or perhaps too much trash is around the heavy target.
    Point is she's her own frame... and she doesn't need to be given powers similar to others to do similar jobs ... All I'm asking is that the powers she was given WORK and Paralysis doesn't work good enough and needs to be fixed/reworked.

So valkyr was experimented on by the corpus and because of that you should expect some flaws in her systems. I think the comunity can agree that valkyr can surpass limitations in the sense she can bypass saftey inhibitors, that keep a warframe from damaging itself, to get a boost in strength. So what if Valkyr begins causing herself to take damage in return for a buff like movement speed or damage. Or increase to all melee weapon stats. Since her claws are out preformed by melee weapons then it would make sense to embrace that and instead make those stronger. 

    When you take damage in Hysteria it's not nullified ... it's stored, if even a single enemy is with in the red ring when the power is shut off ALL that damage is applied to her. That's where the berserker theme comes to play. But this Thread isn't about Hysteria or Exalted Weapons or a complete rework, it's about -PARALYSIS-

    That is completely inaccurate. Hysteria doesn't deal small damage, sure it's not ridiculous amounts either but the point is that you are unable to take damage while you deal the damage...
    Personally I use Hysteria to deal lots of damage to a single target high level threat without the risk of return damage... that is sorta the point of the power...
    I dunno were you get the idea that the power is "almost never used for the damage" because if you ask most vets that use her often they'll say something about the strength of Hysteria's Slide attack.
    Removing Valkyr's claws from Hysteria would be like removing Rhino's Iron Skin .. it's part of the Frame in power and in lore .. in design ..
    Hysteria isn't the problem... this thread is about -PARALYSIS- as it's a what is in need of fixing and your point on Exalted weapons is an opinion not on the focus of the threads topic

    Agreed that she doesn't need much of a change ... and little buff would be nice XD
    But yeah Paralysis just needs to be given the room to work...

    I honestly would want to Avoid a complete rework because really it comes to 1 power in her kit that is broken and 1 that could use some re-tuning because the other 2 are fine.
    Hysteria is in a great place and so is Warcry. Ripline I think just needs to be given a speed boost when used as movement and give it a hold command so you can yank yourself to an enemy or ally.

    She is mostly a Single Target Mini Boss Killer and that should be her focus but other player's CC powers don't play well with her ability to carry out her strength

  10. I've been on this Forum before saying that Paralysis needs to be fixed and gotten lots of arguments about why it doesn't... HOWEVER, most of the argument stems from people thinking I'm a new player that doesn't understand what I'm doing or from people that don't play Valkyr much and only have a cursory knowledge of it. I have been playing since August of 2014 and I've been using Valkyr as my main go to frame since October of 2014. I'm not bragging I'm just saying that my comments are coming from a place of 6 years of experience.
    Valkyr's Kit is great, I don't think any of her powers need to be replaced with any new ones, just a few tweaks... Rip Line is great for shield holders or large enemies though for movement it could be faster or being able to hold the cast to pull you to your target. Warcry is good as is , nothing wrong with it  and same with Hysteria. SOoo that brings us to Paralysis... as a power on paper it's great for her, but a power in practice it needs help.
    So what's wrong with it? Well for one it has ZERO priority. Any Ally powers that CC an enemy takes priority over Paralysis... ENEMY CC takes priority. So here is a recent scenario, I'm Valkyr and I'm going into a mission to get some progress on my Lich's requiem, I'm in a squad with a random Banshee, Mesa, and Limbo on Ceres. Heavy Gunners and Bombards Slam attacks bypass Paralysis if you are too close ... even if they are ALREADY wobbling. Banshee's quake prevents it from being applied completely or if they are Paralyzed the quake shakes them out of it, Mesa's shooting gallery does the same as quake, and then Limbo's rift it sometimes effects them but then I can't hit them afterward or it just doesn't effect them at all.
    We had level 100 something Prosecutors show up and I COULD execute them .. but because everyone was spamming CC I was forced to just beat them down rather than Paralyze and Finish...
    Speaking of finishing... there was a recent change that you now have to 'use' to perform a finisher rather than just press attack, why does that matter ? Because Paralysis doesn't last long.. I mean that's fine it's short but it's not effected by duration and it's base barely gives you chance to use it ... so you can hit a group but you are only going to finish one enemy... the Augment Prolonged Paralysis doesn't help... you use it and sure it makes it last longer but 90% of it's duration they are floating in the air in slow motion and then when they land they get up instantly so you can't ground finish them (( you can't even ground finish after ground slams anymore )) so it's basically NOT actually a Prolonged Paralysis as much as it is a slomo trip that yields no advantage compared to the unaugmented power.
    Now the Reason why all that is a problem is because Part of the Effect of Paralysis reads as : "Stunned enemies are vulnerable to Finisher attacks. If the enemy cannot be attacked with a Finisher (either due to positioning or the enemy type), it will be susceptible to Stealth Damage Multipliers from melee attacks for the duration of the stun. "
    So it's saying that if you can't preform a finisher you can still just Hit them and get a stealth damage multiplier and when every other power prevents the use of Paralysis , you can't take advantage of the power boost.

    So my opinion on how to fix Paralysis is simple, Give it priority over other forms of CC considering it's not a wide range it hits and generally if someone uses paralysis on an enemy they intend on finishing them.
    Allow it to be effected by duration OR give it 2 more seconds of duration
    That's it... that's all I'm asking for so Valkyr can be a bigger help to the squads she's in , so she can help focus on the tough big single targets while the CC Frames focus on the trash .

    I also think the Augment should be changed to be a knock down and paralyze them on the floor for a long time and just skip the slomo floating in the air trip.

    I do prepare, but my focus is on dealing with the lich which means I need the frame I'm best at using ...
    I was handling these missions perfectly fine by myself before hand
    I'm not asking to revert the ENTIRE change to heals on defense targets ... just this part of it because it was fine the way it was before they added alternate ways of healing it

    The change doesn't need to be reverted.

    I'm alreadly equipping better Crowd Clearing weapons .. but that doesn't help when 2 or 3 Napalms Spawn in and cover the Pod with fire that ticks it's life down faster than I can fill it
    and now I can't just dash at it to give it some defense while I go take care of the problem.

    More often than not I'm having to Solo because Randos don't join in and the majority of my Clan are on burn out

    I'm already avoiding disruptions, if I tag Defense and M.Defense on there too .. sigh .. I shouldn't have to avoid missions that I was able to do because of a small change

    I offered a second idea if DE doesn't want to revert the change ... because the main problem is that it's a heal over time and the enemies DoTs are stronger than our HoTs at that level
    so if it was instant or healed faster I wouldn't even have made this post

  13. When I'm farming a Lich I run Valkyr , she's my main frame and I want to be ready when the lich shows their face,
    However
    Currently if I'm in a high level Defense or Mobile Defense alone I'm forced to bring a defense friendly frame rather than my choice of Valkyr because I'm now
    no longer able to give the pod some breathing room to actually heal , because it's a heal over time and the enemies can out damage it at those levels.
    So please give it the short invincibility back OR make the heal instant rather than over time

I was doing the Defense Gift of the Lotus and I noticed that I would Cast Snowglobe and the counter would be 100 but rather than taking a hit and going to like 97 or something ... it'd drop anywhere from 5 to 1 ... I don't know if this is just a bug in the display or if it's actually at that percentage.
    this happened every time I cast so it was repeatable.

    • TYPE: In Game during Scarlet Spear space mission
    • DESCRIPTION: just Playing 2 of us on the Murex and 2 on the Railjack
    • EXPECTED RESULT: Should have been able to get the Kill Codes to finish the mission
    • OBSERVED RESULT: stopped getting them after we hit 7/9 and for 2 of us the operation link chat tab was blank , the other 2 could see it and talk to people but we still weren't getting codes....FOR 45 MINUTES we waited and then basically being forced to Abandon mission we lost EVERYTHING ... so we all just completely wasted an hour for nothing.

  15. I can't remember the name of the Amp part at the moment, but the one that fires the timed/proximity AoE bomb... this did NOT do self damage before yet for some reason now it explodes and knocks me over AND it still knocks me over through Void Mode....
    could this please either be reverted to no knockdown or at very least allow Void Mode to bypass it like it does for other effects

  16. Valkyr is my main frame, I've been running her since I got her in 2014... I'm saying this as a lead in because I know I'll get comments like "oh you don't know how to use her".

     So Valkyr's Paralyze is Supposed to work by casting it , the wave hitting an enemy and stunning them in a wobble, opening them to finishers.
    How it is currently working... spam the move and hope it stuns the enemy. It has Zero Priority, Heavy Unit slams ignore it and they seem to be able to use it to cancel the stun while they are in it if you get in range to use the finisher. If an enemy is under the effect of Any other CC Paralyze does nothing ... like Mesa's Shooting Gallery.
    The augment for paralyze doesn't seem to properly open enemies to finishers, standing or ground.
    I don't know why Excal's Blind, Inaro's Sand, Ash's Fatal Teleport , they all work fine yet Valkyr's similar ability is broken...
    Paralyze doesn't need 'improvement' or rework but it does need to be fixed so it's not a dice roll on if it'll work or not when you need it to.

  18. So there is an awesome looking cave under Mount Nang that was opened with in the last few months ... however all 4 times I've been sent in there to find Cache's there is one under the water.
    I noticed the water won't let me use the K-Drive on it. I saw resources and nodes underwater so I assumed you could drain the crevasse of the water. There is a pump with a pipe into the water with a panel next to it but Hacking it does NOTHING ... and the other pump doesn't have a panel... I can't find any other panels to hack. Looking online I see people saying to lower the water level but not HOW TO lower it ... SO.... Please, How do you lower the water level ???

  19. I've been noticeing some recent issues with lighting brightness and contrast ... things to me are often too dark or are blinding no matter how I set my settings, now this is a separate problem but it's shown me a bigger issue.
    The way we color our Frames and Gear... sucks...
    Our ship's choice in lighting reflects how we color them because the Arsenal doesn't apply neutral lighting to make it obvious what the frame is going to look like, but they are also in a pose and you can't put them in a neutral pose without removing their animation set. Mixing the Energy colors is just guess work as it's not 100% obvious which one is the base and which is the highlight and often when they mix there is Bright white spots at the highlight (( Mixing a dark off red with a bright red doesn't make a rich red it makes a normal red with white highlights ))
    Weapons have another issue that you have to hold them and sometimes the lighting messes with the colors while you rotate or perhaps a detail is under your hand so it may not be obvious what you are coloring, melee weapons share this problem... more so if long or in the case of Nikana the blade is hidden under the sheath.

     So I think we need to have a better system to color our gear, something that lets us zoom in/out and have the weapons not in our hands but off on their own.

    also I think there should be a better system for placing/editing our weapon's grip and position when not in use as well as a placement/scale editor for attachments and Syndanas
