I'm MR 22 and I don't remember things like that.

It is a hassle flipping between your profile, codex or an excel spreadsheet to find out what you have left to level.  This would be a beneficial feature for many.

I'm Mastery rank 22? Making an excel spreadsheet is a bit far when all it takes is to go to your profile in game and check through the list under the "progress filter" to see what you have not leveled, I'm not sure I understand how you cannot remember either when You have that amount of play time?

I feel bad now and shouldn't have assumed that people cant remember what they have used, I know there is over 100 weapons in the game, but to me its baffling, If you took the time to level a weapon (Not passive Level) wouldn't that be something that sticks in your mind, I will drop my argument.

  2. Ok I do see your concern, but like If you play the game for any length of time you will remember these things, The setting would most likely only benefit newer players (less than 20ish Hours), as a genuine question do you at all look at your profile to check through what weapons you have used?, I know its not the fix you want, but this is something that will be toward the bottom of the to do list for DE if anything.

  3. I was under the impression that these units were placeholders that stuck, I honestly think it just be better to send in the squads of Operatives we see from the syndicates since they are modeled and in the game, The specter rewards can remain the same because like I love my Cute little Moa's from perrin and until we get Moa pets these will have to do.

  4. While I appreciate the idea for more engaging button inputs, and fancy throws, The controller is limited and most likely the move couldn't even be bound to anything, In addition, Would anybody really use this since a melee attack would be stronger and gun shots just as deadly, this would be a forgotten gimmick, Don't get me wrong its cool, But It will be neglected

  5. After watching the showcase of the photo-booth shared in devstream 88, I became curious about a few details, here is a list below of things Id like to ask about this new system

Will we be able to work with gear we don't own, like Excalibur prime, lato prime or skana prime in a later version of it.

In the far future would it be possible to pose waframes, for example something similar to the likes of source film maker or something else.

Are these photo's/pictures going to remain in warframes system or can we export them, and if so what format file would they be.

If all 3 of these things are a possibility and are released with the photo-booth at some point Id be grateful but if anyone knows the answers to these questions, don't hesitate to chuck them below

    Thanks guys

basically dont bother with WOL, just mod for energy vamp + vampire leech augment (for up to 1,200 worth of rapid overshields) so you can spam both e.vamp and blessing, they are all you need tbh, even link can be ignored, mine only works for about 3 seconds but timed right its long enough to stop knockdowns/etc, heres my setup, give it a try.

Max power efficiency, crap duration means e.vamp pulses very fast (killing target still yields remaining nrg but you can near perma-stun a tough target and keep it feeding you and your group energy if needed), using this you can easily max your own energy and spam blessing all day, also evamps pulses reach out to just under 60 meters (58.75) to make sure your team is likely in range for the very rapid energy restore and overshields (great for defence, mobdef and interception).

This leaves blesing as a quick heal with virtually no dmg.buff time but tbh i prefer the spammable instant heals, very very rapid energy restores and just as rapid overshields for your entire team, its helped loads in some tough sorties and survivals.

Also needs no forma, just an exilus mod.

I only use this setup because to me at least well of life seems pointless to use, it needs some kind of major change to make it better than just casting blessing, perhaps a better augment will achieve that?, maybe but thats a crutch, id prefer the ability morph into something totally different.

The OP's observation on needing neg strength to improve well fo life is a fair point but one that all frames share, its been common practice to setup our frames to improve 1 or 2 abilities at the cost of crippling others, thats just how things are, its part of how we min-max setups to our personal pereference, and to be fair thats a good thing, nothing more borign than ppl all rolling the same cookie cutter setups, if anything we need more choices and variety.

Thanks for your feedback, I already know vampire leach is the better way to go, Im just stating pool of life needs a buff because right now its really really hard to proc the effect, and for a mod slot it needs to be better, the only reason why I stated that modding for low power strength to boost well of lifes effectivness with the augment is because doing that just to get kills makes any justification to use it pointless, you see there could be some awesome synergies to be had with energy conversion if targets were much easier to kill with well of life active, meaning you could amp up your next EV cast or link cast.

  7. Ive recently been playtesting the pool of life augment for trinity, its effect while only slightly better than mediocre it provided me with a challenge to try and make it good and to try and benefit from the mod, Nomatter how i build or how many ideas I came up with in my head there is little to no ways to make it work, even if it did work its still not as effective as a generic trinity build,

for those who dont know or need a reminder, pool of life makes well of life gives an aditional 4 health orbs on kill and 25% chance of a energy orb dropping.

The reason for this mod not being as effective as it could be is how both well of life and energy vampire work, we will start with well of life:

Well of life suspends an enemy in the air (thats fine), the enemy when damaged gives a percentage of health back (this is also fine), adds aditional health to the target based on power strength + health on cast and when the ability ends it refunds all health back.

because of this aditional health increase energy vampire is the perfect method to widdle away health and give energy back in the process

Energy vampire maks the target enemy staggered for a seccond (this is fine), it refunds energy overtime with pulses based on power strength and how fast they come with power duration (also fine), the enemy is damaged by a percentage of their health based on their health at the time of casting and is effected by powerstrength.

now when we look at the two points I highlighted, Since power strength effects both powers, from the well of life cast the targets gains aditional health equal to the damage increase of Energy vampire, and even though energy vampire is percentage based it changes nothing at the end of the day, its still as hard to kill as before, so what your really looking at here, to make a pool of life build effective is negative power strength to decrease the health gain of your target, and high duration to keep the ability active long enough to kill it before it regains all its health, building like this makes most of her abilitys terrible so the augment should be procable more frequently as it is hard to kill the target that has been effected by well of life

I dont know how broken this is, If DE were to post or talk about this to tell us if this is too good/broken it to make one small adjustment to the augment, remove the health increase from well of life, if this is too overpowered, the alternitive to that is to have the adition remove the health refund at the end of the ability. This means she may actually have a chance at proccing the effect and killing the target enemy, to go alongside this change it would reduce the damage of energy vampire ticks by 2% (depending on numbers and playtesting of the change).

now I know what your thinking, "an augment shouldnt effect another power" and I completely understand where your comming from, but to make this augment even useable i think its necesary as with the straight damage and nothing to refund the health back to the target or without the health increase energy vampire is going to shred enemys up like a tirgris.

if there is sufficent evidence to prove it doesnt need my "nerf", like the covert lethality augment, Id like to hear your points of view below, thanks for reading :)

  8. Thankyou, DE.

for the two years I've been here (atleast I think its two years)  I've never just said thankyou, now from over my whole time here Ive experienced twists and turns, from things like my first event (I was unable to beat/finish it) to others like Baro Ki Teer, and Ive loved every moment of it, sure there might have been occasions I had my concerns, but given time those concerns fade, like for example the relic system, at first I thought it was a step backward, but In the end My reluctency to accept the new was swept away with embrace as I realised what good it brought with it.

sometimes you dont always get it right the first time, with riven while it may not have been perfect, you kept at it, you took another swing of your hammer and nailed it, I love the fact that soon Im no longer going to feel hard done by for using weapons I love, or the ones I want to try,

and lastly for listioning, while I personally dont always have the greatest of opinions and ideas you still liston to me and many others in the comunity, just hearing quotes from some of my topics I've made on the forums in the dev stream itself makes me geek out, I feel apart of what warframe is and what It will eventually become.

Thankyou DE, for doing what you do for us.

I dunno why, but something tells me the meter is at least semi-bugged in hot it tilts at the end. Pretty much everyone else's alignment is neutral with a slight leaning to the light.

May be coincidence but we'll see I suppose.

This is a bug, most people veiw everyones allignment the same as your own

  10. OK So when I was playing the war within quest, I had the biggest desire to change my decision in the quest, I regretted my last decision on the mountain, I chose to consume rather than control or destroy, now if I could go back on my word I would totally destroy the Kuva, now that I've had time to process everything its made me so frustrated with myself and I'm afraid in future quest-lines I'm going to suffer for that choice, to top it all off I chose every good decision before it, I chose to not kill the queen, I chose to resent the void taking me over, I chose to believe there was hope for the Zarimon crew (I cant remember the spelling).

Has anyone had a similar experience to me and would like to change their option, BTW Could you please state wether your staff colour was the default or another colour, mine was yellow same as my operator and my Warframe

This is just out of curiosity and doesn't need to be a feature in the game where we can change our decisions, I just wish I could :(

  11. My personal opinion with riven mods is to make it so we cant re-roll stats, i dont like it how we have to ability to re-roll stats with there being a potential negative outcome, if it was a case of rerolling values, even though there is still the potential negative, that would be more to my liking but I still dont approrve of it,

even if we used your changes xenogellion I dont know how I'd feel

the cap of holding 15 riven mods i absolutely hate, I would want to be able to stack these things up, I think 15 is way to small,

Rare containers, not for long time now...Ayatan treasures, thought there is much more to it than it really is.I pick up sculptures when in mission if they are in my way and I completely stoped doing weekly treasure hunt Maroo gives us...They are just decoration in my liset..

so are mine, i don't trade them in either, when i made the post I only had 6 treasures, now i have 46, never turned any of them in, their all sitting in a treaure pile, and with each treause added makes me feel good, its like a collection

  13. So I recently put out a topic that expressed my interest towards a Re-Forging mechanic, here is my revised idea to better cater to peoples liking and feedback

The original Idea was to have it when a weapon was max rank, you can take it to the foundry or other location to reforge it, gaining stat bonuses and making the weapon have a higher affinity cap needed to fully level it, this was also partnered with an idea that there would be a new game plus mechanic added at the same time,

Ok So my first complaint was, "It was power creep" and "its a built in power creep feature", it would break the game, on its own maybe?. As much as I disagree with what people said, this my fix to this

So have each weapon have its own reforging level, The weakest weapons would start at reforge level 0, and the other weapons start at an appropriate reforge level, the strongest weapon has the highest reforge level available currently, and all weapons with a weaker reforge level to that one can progress to that reforge level, making any weapon comparable to any other weapon in game to a degree

Ok seccond complaint, "warframe is already lacking in the skill department" that statement is completely subjective, not everyone finds the game as easy or is as good as everyone else

and other various comments are saying that this is not suited for warframe, i know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but why do people see upgrading a weapons base stats as bad, and say i should be satisfied with the modding system, power creep isn't an answer I can fathom or understand when this isn't pvp.

If anyone has more issues with the idea moving forward, ill look at them and see if i can fix this more

Well you did give a impression that you are a new player by subject and content in this topic. My only mistake was that I assumed that not checking your profile.

This fact that you are experienced player makes me even more puzzled cause you are super exited about finding ayatan treasures and rare containers...

Isnt everyone?, doesn't treasure like this excite you at all?

BUY PREMIUM NOW! Because mobile gaming in general is shallow and extremely cash-oriented, favoring extreme simplicity in efforts to attract more audience.
The kind of games you play, sitting on a toilet and picking your nose. Last thing we need is more cash-grab trickery. BUY PREMIUM NOW!

But in reality they already know every single dirty trick. They just don't bother using them all at the same time.
Warframe focuses more on "Now or never limited edition!" stuff, rather than on "You're progressing so quickly! Don't stop playing!" illusion.
We don't always have direct access to Warframe (because most people don't bring their PC and PS4 to work), so that approach just wouldn't work as well.

but your not buying premium anything, its just a level up system to make all weapons relevant, when at any point did I say they were going to market this as something you could buy, and you don't have to play this all the time, when you get to a point where your strong enough you don't need to reforge for a while, I accept your point of view

We already have this in the form of Forma and Mods. Your whole reforging Lato description is just another way of describing what we already do, with putting maxed primed mods on it and forma'ing it enough to fit them.  And having higher Mastery Rank makes this process easier.

but you dont make the lato better, you just slap mods in, its still the same lato, sure forma exists right, but at the end of the day, its still a lato your going to throw away because its too weak to be used in the content where you want to farm/play, mods can only extend its lifespan so far because they all need to be balanced for the strongest of weapons

sound infinitely more grindly and tedious. replaying and unlocking the same stuff over and over essentially. no. no thank you.

the game has enough grind as it is without adding more.

all your doing is getting affinity to upgrade these, how is this more grindy than normal, because once you've done it you don't have to do it again till you feel like the content gets too hard

I am all for this but a capacity of 30? Come on. 20 would be completely fine.

if it wasnt 30, then it just be another mod you could just throw onto in the exilus slot or something and forget about it, its needs to be a big cost because everyone would leave it on to find treasure, and you wouldn't actively make a choice to equip it in some circumstances

"The new introduction of ayatan Treasures is one of the coolest things to date in game"

In my opinion they are actually next to worthless. There is no much point to them.Sculptures give little endo end converting them to endo costs too much in credits, also stars drop on every corner. You will find that rare containers are not so rare and rewarding as you think when you get a bit further into game.

dude I'm MR 21 with 1737 in game hours, not including just sitting in the liset time, and made a forum account 8 months and 20 days before you, so just double check that before assuming I'm a new player, im not stating that to prove prowess mainly to bring to light its not just new players that care about these things. these are cool, they may not be as efficient in getting endo, and rare containers do not drop amazing rewards but they are cool little treasures to find, and I get super excited seeing them, its not about their value

To a degree, this already happens. However you don't up the stats of a single item directly. There are two ways Warframe already does this.

    1. Mods: While its easy to lose sight of this at late-game, in the early to mid game getting and ranking up Mods is that Time Spent In Game giving you a numerical advantage, overcoming skill gaps.
    2. New Weapon: Getting the Crafting Materials and Blueprints to build a new weapon with better base stats is one of the core game-play loops of Warframe. It's also a cornerstone of the Mastery System.

The Major difference between Infinity Blade(s) and Warframe is skill alone can defeat any enemy with any weapon (as IB at base is a rhythm/swipe/timing game), where as Warframe's ever scaling enemy stats and armor system put a hard limit on what you can fight and with what.

Upgrading Weapons and Armor in IB is like if Guitar Hero offered players the option to upgrade Guitars (which gave more score) and Amps (that allowed you to make a few errors without losing a combo).

Thank-you for your feedback, i just feel like i need a little boost, And sure i understand where your coming from but, is it really a bad thing?, you've got me questioning myself which is a good thing but still
