    I have the feeling that this has the potential to be a permanent feature to Warframe. We just have to make enough noise about it to get DE's attention. Remember, the old Mobility system was technically a glitch where DE simply made it a feature due to the popularity. I believe the only thing holding this back is how rare and unpredictable it is.

    Well I still have no idea how to do it. I just wish they made it official and more readily available.

    I do not know how I pulled it off. Even if I did, I would be afraid to try it intentionally in fear of DE banning me for intentionally using a glitch. I simply joined a mission and next thing I know there were 7 others joining when I got in. 

  4. So last week I ran into what I believe was a VERY fun glitch (still unsure if it was intentional by DE or not). This was a high level, or at least high end star chart so really medium difficulty, Grineer survival mission. The difference, there were 8 people, not the usual 4. AND IT WAS GLORIOUS. I was playing Limbo but so many different frames working together, Volt, Nova, Titania, Excalibur, it was amazing. I know that we can technically already do that with Trials but I feel that those are more than a little stressful and you need to bring specific frames, not just have fun in a sea of deadly chaos. I know that this is the kind of thinking that tends to give toaster computers nightmares but I know that DE can find a way to make it work. 

     

    What do you think? Too silly? Like it? Not worth it? Or like the concept of chaotic fun? 

  5. Hello, I have ran into a little bug. Apparently the Mastery Rank 18 test is uncompleteable. After completing 5 waves, the mission did not end, stating I have only completed 4/5 even though all enemies on the entire map were dead. I even checked under platforms and on the ledge of the corners. I checked the entire map over 5 times (literally) and couldn't find the last target. Is this because I accidentally brought in Veiled Riven mod on my sidearm? Or could it have happened because I activated my Focus? 

  6. I believe that Sword and Shield weapons need help. Not in the form of a new stance. Final Harbinger is a very fun and useful stance. But what I mean is with the 90% blocking. You see, the Shield and Sword tie with the Nikana for the highest block rate. That's right, a katana somehow blocks just as much as a large shield. 2 things need to be done to make the Shield and Sword weapon class stand out. 

    1) The nikana line needs to have its block rate lowered, yes, even Nikana Prime. I believe all weapons should be viable and there is no reason to use a Shield and Sword when the Nikana out damages and out blocks them. 

    2) Give them a gimmick. DE have stated that they may be looking back to pre-existing weapons to give abilities to. I believe Shield and Sword should have a chance to deflect ballistic attacks back to the attacker. This would give them a new style, a reason for people to use them in higher level missions.

    Yeah, Oberon is overshadowed by Inaros. They are both semi-tanky supports who can shut down enemies with CC, ues Oberon can do damage but Inaros can set up enemies for finishers which could itself do more damage AND heal himself.

    4 factions, 2 of them have nullifier that prevent you from doing anything with a sniper.

    Big maps are great when you're sniping but... the bubbles are way too big.

    To be honest, Nullifiers are kind of the bane of everyone's existence, not just snipers. 

  9. The problem holding back Damage Auras is the fact that they are proportional to the weapon, not the enemy. Corrosive Projection is just as useful against level 1 enemies as it is against level 100 enemies as it scales with them, getting stronger as enemies get stronger. Now this isn't to say that it won't work in general, I am sure DE can find a way. I would still love for "Rifle Amp" to work on all weapons (or at least main weapons). I mean "Steel Charge" works for ALL melee weapons (and gives the most points of any Aura).

    1) Well I can't argue with this one, but most primaries don't have anything like that other than bows

    2) Well yes and no. Most maps won't have a sweet spot BUT I have found that many Defense missions tile sets are wide enough to let the sniper camp the Pod while sniping enemies. Granted, the acception to this are Ship tile sets where it's way too cramped and too many things are in the way. 

  11. DE knows that their game isn't exactly new player friendly. But I don't mean in a "They don't care" kind of way, they are currently working on how to help new players get into the game instead of "Do this quest, now you're on your own". One of the main devs has even been doing an "Undercover Boss" thing, starting a new account from scratch and playing the game from the start to see where the flaws may be first hand. But things like this take time. They want to do so many things, events for experienced players, reworks for underpraforming Warframes, and a better experience for newer players. 

    The upgrade for new player experiences won't just be a fine tuned beginner quest line, but also involves reworks for 2 of the 3 beginner frames, Volt and Mag. This is because once Excalibur received his rework, he was hands down the best choice of the 3, and DE didn't think there should be only 1 good choice. So be patient and trust DE, they haven't failed us yet. 

  12. Everything requires Nitain now. SERIOUSLY DE!? I know I don't speak for everyone but most players don't have the time to wait for a Nitain alert and then jump onto Warframe. We have college classes, jobs, lives. Putting all these new interesting weapons and warframes behind a Nitain wall is insane. This is even WORSE than the Oxium problem we use to have. For those new to the game, Oxium use to only drop from Oxium Osprey and only drop 1-3 at a time while you would need about 100 or 200 for weapons and warframes, but at least you could farm it. Nitain is just plain luck. 

  13. Balancing and tweaking is best done when looking at his base statistics, not someones personal build. Yes it is fast with SD and NT, but that's 2 slots that I'm not particularly happy using just to get Rift Walk to actually work as a panic button.

     

    I don't use it as a panic button. I just use cast speed to reduce the amount of time between Rift Walks. Though the big thing I like is still the damage reduction. I have been killed 1 too many times in level 100 Sortie missions where I Banish a Bombard mid animation just to find they can't be knocked down while doing their knockdown before they shoot a rocket into my face.

    1) Nullifier, what's your point? Almost every frame is weak to Nullifiers. That's the point of the Nullifier.

     

    2) Anything that can't be knocked down. Not sure if you read but I suggested an innate 50% DR whilst in the rift or having it tied to Rift Surge. Even if there are things that don't get knocked down Limbo could at least survive some shots now.

    I also suggested that Rift Walk have its cast time removed so that Limbo can flick between planes as necessity demands. This gives him a lot more survivability as long as you're situationally aware. 

    Actually his Cast time to me is ok as I run both Natural Talent and Speed Drift with a Duration build. This allows me to Rift Walk as fast as I can snap my fingers and be in there for over a minute. I have to say I like the Damage Reduction with Rift Surge but I think the damage bonus should be changed from Limbo's Damage to "Enemies take more damage from all sources while in the Rift" so team mates in Cataclysm can gain the benefit, turning Limbo in a sort of Support frame while also having 1v1 potential. I love Limbo's kit but believe many frames can use a few tweaks here or there.

  15. The hell? Taking all the skill away from the weapons and making them these super dull auto seeker weapons? No thanks.

     

    Also the glaive weapons were magnificent and perfect before the U18 messed them up really bad. When DE finally reverts (which they should) them back to their pre-U18 charging state they will be amazing again.

     

    Kestrel is my favorite weapon in this game and has insane amount of utility.

    You do know the auto-lock is meant for more than the first bounce when you have absolutely no control over it so might as well make it somewhat reliable when throwing so you are guaranteed some decent damage instead of just hitting one guy before bouncing off 3 walls and heading back while you are stuck without a melee instead of the thing hitting the target's friends who were right next to it. 

  16. I have actually been thinking of a few ideas on how to help Glaives as the Glaive Prime is my favorite melee weapon. 

    1) Slight damage boost: It's common knowledge that thrown weapons are very low damage. While I do't believe they should be high damage, being closer to average would be night as they have a LOT of wide multi hit combos to spread the pain around. 

    2) Attack Speed = Flight Speed: Yes, this would allow players to free up a mod slot by having one mod buff two things. Much like Bows, attack speed would probably receive a multiplier (like 1.5) before the stat buffs flight speed. Fury for example boots attack speed by 30%, this new mechanic would also grant a 45% flight speed boost. 

    3) Allow throws to Crit: This is to open up Throwing Weapons to more options as crit right now only affects the melee damage of the weapon. Opening up throwing to crits could allow weapons like the Kestrel to become more viable and allow Crit throwing weapons. This also makes a great combo with idea #2.

    4) Better AI: Ok, we all know how you have a better chance at winning the lottery than you have getting a great mulitple bounce hits. Perhaps a pseudo-lock on would work. You still have no control where it would go but it would make it much easier to hit more than 1 or 2 guys before bouncing down a hallway and heading back.

    5) Let us Fight while in Flight: Ok, I know it sounds confusing but let me explain. When you throw the weapon, you can not do any more melee until it comes back. This is basically shooting yourself in the foot. But remember during the Halloween event where we had no weapons? We could use basic sparing attacks, why not allow us to use that, keeping all of out Status and Crit stats but converting all damage to Impact because we're using unarmed punches and kicks. This would make throwing more viable while allowing us to defend ourselves. 

     

    6) Utility Slot: This is sort of a band-aid solution but it is the easiest. Allowing an extra slot purely for a specific few mods such as those which increase or decrease the number of bounces before traveling back would be good. 

  17. Hello, I have been unable to change the colors of my Mantis Lander for about a month now. I have tried changing colors, changing Landers and then logging out, nothing seems to work. Please help, a jet black Mantis just doesn't look good at all.
