    I see, thank you for letting me know. Personally, I don't really mind it much anymore after knowing what's happening because I've been able to manage around it the whole time but any more optimization is always appreciated 🙂

    Edit 2: it's related to the number of placed decorations in your ship which is why not everyone sees this.

    Thank you for the updates! I didn't expect decorations to affect RAM usage when buying things in open world at all. Thank you for optimizing this 😃

    Edit: I wanted to add that clicking and then buying things seems to be more effective in increasing the RAM usage than clicking on something, returning, and then clicking on something new over and over again but I'm not 100% sure.

    Hi, sorry for the late reply. Yes, I'm still experiencing this and have managed around it ever since I know about the out of memory problem. I have communicated this with [DE]Purzzle but couldn't find anything that could've caused this yet after comparing setting and spec. Right now, I suspect that this have something to do with my hardware.

  5. I'm not sure if this is the bug you guys are after but I have something that might be related to it.

    I notice that my game keep crashing whenever I was buying multiple items from the store from open world NPCs for a while now. It's been getting more consistent too after I tried figuring out what made my game crash and in my case, it would almost always be crashing after buying at least 3 items from the store right after another and that's that. I didn't think much more of it until I saw this thread yesterday. Then I started paying attention to my RAM when I'm on open world and trying to buy items.

    This is what my fps bar look like this when I first enter the open world (Deimos)

    Then whenever I start talking to NPCs the RAM would climb to 2k and clicking on the store would make the RAM climb a few hundreds more

    Both clicking on any of the items on the store and buying the items would also increase the RAM and these could quickly make the RAM climb even further after a few transaction

    You don't even have to buy things to make the RAM go to 4k, all you need to do is click on one of the items and go back and click on another repeatedly and it'll go to 4k eventually

    I don't crash my game when trying this because I was only clicking on items without buying them to try getting to 4k RAM so buying might be the trigger to crash the game or that I haven't exceed the threshold of RAM limit to crash. Usually, every time I buy an item from an NPC, the game would freeze for like a second but it feels like it keep getting worse the more I buy and when I buy more than 3 items in a row (4th or 5th buy) the game would froze and then crashed. Waiting after buying an item does eventually decreases the RAM so that should help preventing it but I'm not so sure.

    I did attempt to crash my game just now by buying all voidplume in Archimedean Yonta store and I succeed. The RAM was already reaching 4k when I clicked on purchase and then it crashed. I can send the EE.log if needed. The error number: WAR-3570374

    Other than this I haven't really notice anything that causes the RAM to spike to 4k.

    My laptop does have DX12 but I usually use DX11 with enhanced setting and I also have 12GB RAM. I am also playing using a 6yo laptop but the specs should still meet the minimum requirements.

  6. Just got another no daily login reward screen. It just skipped directly to the standing up from crouching in front of navigation. I suspect this might be because of network not responding and failing to login but the game still count the failed login as a legit login and gave the login rewards then. At least this time I remember what day I was supposed to be on, so I will need to wait 24h to see if today login actually counted or skipped.

    On that note, why can't we just see how many days we've logged into the games on our stats? This would've saved me the stress of not knowing whether or not I had my login counted or not.

  7. Tried the TNW-TGT code for both of my main and newbie account (MR 3-4, far from second dream) and it is still invalid for both accounts but admittedly, the newbie account was pretty old (made at around 2019)

    Also there's a free sword and staff skin if you login from epic during holiday sale (until 6th of January)

    Thanks for making these decorations scalable but every single one of these on my orbiter also got displaced after the update. They just moved the tiniest bit from their original place before the update. Also iradite is now super tiny that even the hitbox is 100x larger than the decoration.

  9. Welp, just logged in and got my 3rd no login reward bug, bummer. Will this several years old bug ever gonna get fixed?

    I was referring to the custom legendary glyphs that you get by purchasing the legendary tennocon pack which i don't think is available since last year 2020 tennocon.

    DESCRIPTION: Missing defense target and enemies

    I started the defense mission on neptune (this was the first unlocked mission there, arva vector) from orbiter but aborted right to dojo after because i was using the wrong set of RJ mod. Restarted the mission from dojo and start doing the loot dungeon/resource vault mission on ice mine, killed all enemies there and move on to the main objective and entered after doing all the necessary thing. When i entered, i noticed that the defense target is missing and can't really return to RJ either due to the nature of the mission so i wait a couple of minutes to force the mission to start and there's no enemies that spawn on the mission either even after waiting for a couple more minutes. Had to abort and lose all the resource and exp i got but i did somehow managed to keep all my RJ components.

    After aborting, the missing defense target does show up but it keeps sticking to one of my crewmate throughout the loading and even in the dojo.

    REPRODUCTION: There might be a more specific trigger but i can't get it to work. Started the mission from orbiter and directly abort the mission to go to dojo and go right back to arva vector. Did the ice mine and then go do what i had to do to enter the ship.

    To be more specific, i directly started doing the vault which was quite close to the main ship at the time which also make crewship and normal fighter ships to attack my railjack that was parked in front of the ice mine. After i finished killing all the enemies there and got out, i immediately go for the crewship that was attacking my railjack and go to the main objective ship and it told me to destroy 2 security nodes and 1 crewship (which i already did before getting there) before going in. There's was no waypoint when i got in.

    I wasn't able to reproduce the spawn location of the ice mine to be close to the ship so i can't really replicate the whole thing 100%

    EXPECTED RESULT: There should be a defense target/capsule i had to protect.

    OBSERVED RESULT: There's no defense target/capsule and the it ended up sticking to one of my crewmate (number 1, the one placed on the left) after aborting as seen on the GIF.

    REPRODUCTION RATE: 1/3 (33.33%), only happened the 1st time

     

    Extra bug found when testing:

    • TYPE: In-Game
    • DESCRIPTION: You get to keep scraps (component and armament) you got after aborting.
    • VISUAL: -
    • REPRODUCTION: Get scraps and abort.
    • EXPECTED RESULT: Get nothing.
    • OBSERVED RESULT: Scraps stay on inventory.
    • REPRODUCTION RATE: 3/3, out of the 3 tries, the first 2 tries only allow me to keep components but no armaments but the last one did allow me to keep both.

One of the reason you might still get hit when using limbo cataclysm is because the stasis no longer affect the sentients for the full duration because of scarlet spear so they will still be able to attack you in the cataclysm dome even when stasis is still running. A nullifier could've remove your stasis too and you might've forgot to reactivate it again. Honestly you don't even have to use limbo for this mission. As long as you use a warframe that could use CC, you're basically good to go.

  13. The only ones that will degrade would be the last one you equipped because it will stay outside roaming the ship but the DNA degradation of you companion could permanently be disabled if you have the nutrio incubator segment installed as mentioned in the update note.

  14. The normal moa leg (dimper bracket) still have the same model as the new moa leg (hona bracket) that comes with this update which makes us have 2 identical bracket model. This bug has been around since the beginning of march after warframe revised update. Would be nice if you guys could look into it.

  15. That would be awesome and i 100% support this idea but i hope they could at least fix the current lighting first because afaik, currently a decoration asset would only be affected based on its pivot instead of real time lighting so an object could be fully black because the pivot is out of the lighting range while most of the object is within the lighting range which doesn't make sense at all.

    Being able to edit the interior with decoration would be nice but i know that this will get in the way of the gameplay and even the railjack gamplay itself is still being fixed/reworked. Railjacks are also warships that the tenno or orokin used for war in the past while the orbiter is a mobile base where the tenno rest, travel, and store their equipments with only a cloaking capability for defense (as far as i know) so they're entirely a different thing for different purposes. The fact that the railjack have bigger interior compared to the orbiter is a bit weird though, considering the railjack is docked on the orbiter via a weird long tube which also bother me from the first time i got the railjack.

  17. In the last devstream, DE Scott mentioned about hard mode and trophies which got me a bit surprised as well as worried.

    As someone that likes to decorate, i've had my orbiter fully decorated and currently have no more capacity on rooms other than the helminth one and i definitely don't want to put my trophies there. I did left 100 cap on my transference room for the prex cards but even that is still not enough capacity if one day all prex cards for all warframes were released. I'm still not satisfied with what i have right now and would very much love to add even more details to all the rooms and now we will also be having more decoration trophies and maybe some more from the nightwave series so i am really desperate for more room capacity.

    I know this would require more optimization and could possibly make my game a bit laggy while on the orbiter but i honestly wouldn't mind the lag as long as i could make my orbiter look the way i want and it shouldn't affect missions either so it should be alright. There's also the fact that we will be getting a new game engine in the future. For this reason, an increase in orbiter capacity should not be an impossible thing so please please pleasee add more room capacity to the orbiter.

    in case anyone want to see how full my orbiter is.

    I don't think you understand the concept of partnership at all. Being a partner means that the partner help promote the game and the game help the partner produce content. Having a glyph in game is also a mean to promote the game partners, not just a plain decoration for everyone to use. Yes, everyone can get them but for most of them you'd have to watch them or give them sub to earn those glyphs in the first place and by watching them there will be some people that might find their content interesting and continue to stick around and contribute to their community. That way the partner could grow as a content creator. The ones that open their glyph for public probably either met a target that their community set or choose to let the community have them for free but at the end of the day they are still used as a promotion so that you might be interested to check their content.

    Glyph have always been limited to what's available so you either use your platinum to buy a glyph you like or use a partner glyph which you might need to pay to get. The only other way to have your own glyph into the game is by purchasing the VIP ticket and/or be contacted by DE. By having clan glyphs, that would mean that you could just make one of your own therefore making the whole market glyph, partner glyph, and VIP glyph useless because why would you use those when you could have one made by yourself or your friends. That's what @BiancaRoughfin meant by exclusivity. And as you said:

    Being a solo clan is doable, that's why there are many ghost clans with only 1 or few members on it.

    Besides using emblem is more than enough because you can physically use them on your warframes and now you can even show off you clan emblem as a sigil so as cool as it might be, there's really no need to have it as a glyph as well.

  19. It's been years since plains of eidolon update first came out and this bug has been in the game ever since. This bug has never been addressed even though plains of eidolon got remastered, operator outfit got updated and even new masks were introduced. I've seen some posts of this bug in the past but it has been buried and left to gather dust so i thought i should try bring this bug up to everyone's attention once again. The bug itself is quite simple. As the title suggest :

    • The bug will make only the paper masks made by Nakak oversized.
    • It is triggered when the warframes are switching to operator mode and would stay that way the rest of the mission or relay stay (you can only revert the bug by going to operator customization which can only be accessed on relay type instance but it will get triggered when switching to operator mode again).
    • This bug will not happen on orbiter but can still be triggered when switching back to warframe for a brief moment on the returning animation.

    I really hope this bug could be fixed cause i really like to use the grineer mask but the bug makes wearing it look weird so please fix this DE. 😔
