oh yeah exactly i almost wouldnt accept a long sword and short sword combo, we have that already with almost all the dual wield weapons... I really want to see and play with 2 long katanas just like the current nikana ideally without having it use a maxed reach mod too :/ Also dont make them super slow or a really short range or have some D polarity although that i mind the least as i can change that with a forma i suppose.... C'mon DE its all i want for Christmas! lol

We definitely need some lore, its the only thing I am really craving from Warframe now. Please DE give us a set of books, graphic novels, an anime - something!!! I love the universe of Warframe and the quests you are doing is a great start but you guys cant hide from making lore forever, the game is getting too big and too many people want to understand and learn the history of the universe you guys have so expertly crafted into such a fun game that has earned so much of my money. Give us lore. Please >:D

In regards to the skana prime; we have already had the awesome animation taken away from us (really the only reason to use it) and now people are trying to stop the ability for us to use bright purity on this weapon complaining it would be a top tier weapon! What a joke, no conceivable build would make this weapon anywhere near top tier - please allow us to use it and give us something other than a shiny weapon that sits in our inventory wishing we could make use of it. Also to the original poster, unfortunately the case with most games nowa days is that if you are not playing it when there is some event or right at the beginning you will lose out on stuff that you cant get again. It happens in most games now and its just something you have to deal with and not get butt hurt about, especially as your not even paying for them like Founders effectively did. On another note DE are giving you exclusive weapons and things to make you feel special in the form of event weapons, if a Founder doesnt do the event he wont get the weapon or mod etc so I really dont know what your complaining about overall...

Yup anyone who says dual nikanas are unrealistic or the animations wouldn't work just stop, stop now please you are making yourself look silly. This is not a game based on reality, there are plenty of movies, anime - whatever where people use them and they are really cool, DE please put this in the game and keep the length too! I play this game for fun, and having dual nikanas would bring me a TONNE of enjoyment as I know Geoff and the team would totally pull off some sick dual nikana stances and I'd play Warframe for another 800+ hours probably just with that weapon!!!

dual wield melee needs some love there havnt many new ones and all the buffs are going for the singular weapons. I'd so love dual nikanas or even better dual dragon nikanas <333

Nothing told me mine would DIE!!!! I'm really "annoyed" for use of a clean word, I spent plat on the thing to begin with and havnt had time to play, now I come back to its died, seriously WTF! That needs to be fixed ASAP - and to whoever said that that a real dog would die too, your a moron, this is a game about freaking space ninjas.....

ok I have to admit I'd only played one game with him and it was stupidly at a very high level so what can I expect. I am really confused with the how you mod a Kubrow though - do they use their own mods or a warframes? :s sorry for the previous rage :(

Completely agree atm. Spent plat on getting him and he's utterly useless; looks really badly animated, ugly as all hell and I have to constantly buy stuff to keep his health up! The loyalty thing is pretty annoying too.. They should also ALL at least go and pick up loot and "dig up" stuff with the main traits being stealth, buff/ regen, damage and whatever ingenious ideas people come up with like him acting like a mule being able to hold another couple of weapons for you to change or something. Love the new UI but Kubrow, new Warframe and even the new weapons are pretty disappointing for me so far.

Hey all,
Is anyone else having this problem where Warframe just crashes right after pressing play on launcher? It happened just before the latest update and so I ran the two recovery options in the launcher, verify and defrag and it did not fix it however with the latest update I managed to play again which was great - however, when I've gone to play Warframe again today it again just crashes like it once did :s
Any help would be great and I'll be sure to submit support ticket too

Are you all off your freaking rockers?!?!?!?!?! Dual katanas like in an anime would be absolutely BADASS!!! Hell frick'n yes put this in the game!! In ancient Japan they may not have wielded dual katanas... but they didn't have zombies or robots to fight, in space!!!! If you don't like the idea then you don't have to use them, if you do then you can - don't ruin the idea of someone else's fun for your own sake, please!
I'd also love to see them keep the same speed and length to making them fast perhaps not as fast as the other dual wielding weapons, just not slow, then make them have a lower base damage to compensate. ^^

tbf its basically just rhino skin for everyone now in a different slightly more skillful mechanic. I love it on my valkyr ^^

What happens if you bought the dragon nikana thinking youd get a refund on the original nikana that you bought straight away when they were duplicates and the dragon nikana wasn't in the market place?

Is there going to be a platinum refund possible for people who bought the normal Nikana when they could have bought the Dragon version for the exact same price? I bought the normal one when they were both called "Nikana" in the market.

DE, you guys are awesome the new update is super kick &#! but there are some bugs - sorry about that the people that don't respect the amount of hard work you guys put into it. I do hope we can change to the dragon Nikana if we got the other early though <3

Hey all,
I'm sure DE are well aware of it already but I just want to ask and bring to their attention that Valkyr's ultimate is a melee weapon replacement (kinda) and just want to make sure that it is worked into melee 2.0 because currently I'd actually prefer to use my current melee weapon rather than Valkyrs' fists because of the range, weapon style and the fact enemies can run away faster than the lunge is to your target. It's a bit of a shame as I'd class her as the melee frame of Warframe.

The Glaive is iconic, so it will always be unique. Kestrel ragdolls and ricochets.
A Scindo thrown would stick in the enemy, and you'd have to go get it. If you throw it off a cliff, there's a delay before it magically re-appears.
Sounds fun to me! but perhaps as a combo move or something instead of all the time like say blocking and doing a charged melee attack at the same time :S

Selecting Melee/ Secondary Weapon As Main Weapon

Hey all :)
so I know you can obviously switch to your melee weapon in game and if you unequip your main and secondary weapons you start with your melee weapon equipped, but can we have an option that allows us to make our default weapon our melee or secondary? This would be for a) starting missions where if joining a mission you can be thrust straight into a fight with enemies already surrounding you, b) for if you are disarmed then pick up your dropped weapon you still often stay with the other weapon you were using, c) if you are carrying the data mass then use it on a terminal and want to attack an enemy right behind you with a particular weapon.
Myself personally only use melee weapons but want to level others for the mastery, so I'd love to see this as an option ideally when picking your weapons in your lasses.
