  1. I've had a frustration with relics since they were released. Keeping track of what you need and what you don't is simply a pain. So I propose a solution. Have a color chart that shows if you need that item to complete a build or if you already have it to some degree. The most "don't have it" status from the relic's reward list is then passed to the relic's border. Color chart can be as follows:

RED: You need one or more of this item to complete a never built item.

ORANGE: You need one or more of this part to create an item that you have built, leveled to 30, but no longer own.

YELLOW: You need one or more of this part to create an item that you have built, did not level to 30, but no longer own.

GREEN: You no longer have this part (or it's built component ie chassis), but have built and currently own the item OR you have all the copies you need of this part to build the item. This includes having either the blueprint for a warframe part or the built component.

Whatever the highest highest color is, make the border of the relic that color. This designates with a simple glance if the relic is something you want to use or not. And drilling down further by looking at a relic will quickly show you exactly what item it is you need from that relic.

BOOM. Relic management achieved. I think. Unless you can find issues with this. Obviously, you'd need a way to also identify if a forma comes from it.. but that could be further discussed.

  3. I think many are missing the primary point here. Let me make it simple for you. Do you like the addition where they let you know if one of the available rewards already in your inventory when you're selecting from your choice of (up to) 4 rewards? Help to choose which you have or don't without much hassle? Yeah. It's nice. So why not have a similar system for the relics themselves so you can see what you have and don't have right then and there? Would that not be much faster and easier when selecting your next relic? Maybe even give a simple indicator the relic box itself showing if you have all the rewards for that relic (built or blueprint).

  4. I've really come to just not want to bother playing Warframe anymore due to the sheer frustration and complication with the relic system. Specifically, I'm talking about the lack of information within the relic system, and the complications with hunting down the relics themselves.

First, the owned relic system is extremely cumbersome to sort through when trying to find out what rewards you're even looking for. I have piles and piles of prime parts, but I'm obviously missing those one or two parts of dozens of different weapons/warframes. Yes. I can search through to search for specific items, but the easiest way to keep track of what I'm missing is to keep an excel spreadsheet of every item I have parts of and what I'm missing, and then search for one of those parts in game. It's ridiculous. Especially when trying to pick a relic between rounds of an endless game mode. We need more information in that panel regarding what we own, what we've made, and what we're currently missing. Something quick and easy. I'm so tired of trying to keep tally of all these parts. It's so frustrating, it rides the edge of loss of interest.

Then there's missing relics themselves. Where they drop from. easiest ways to get them for parts that I'm missing. I have to go to the damn wiki just to find the relic I need for a part that I don't already have, and then search again to find where I can farm for it. I should not have to use SOOO many external resources for something that should be provided in game. There must be a better way to handle this? It's so overly involved, I just don't really have the want to even play anymore. No... it's not the grinding that keeps me away. It's the information grind that I have to perform before the in game grind. This needs to be streamlined. Simplified.I just wanna play. Not spend a half hour doing inventory.

  5. I think it would be a fantastic addition to simply show the number of owned parts you have when viewing your Void Relics in the refinement and equip pages. Having more detail that shows if you've got a part, part built, the item built, or have had it built in the past (sold it), would be even better. Having to keep a list of each individual part you have/don't have is becoming frustrating. Displaying what you've got and what you don't would be a HUGE help and time saver.

    - The radial burst from Syndicate weapons and mods is now silent and won't alert enemies.

I wanted to test this out, and I'm not really sure why my stealth multiplier is being canceled when the radial burst goes off... and all enemies die from it. I mean, if it's silent and does not alert enemies, why am I losing my multiplier? I made sure that I killed an enemy that was NOT in sight of any other enemies (so no one would be "spooked"), and I still lost it.

  7. You seriously just ruined the crafting portion of the game for new players. It was already confusing enough to go through the list of blueprints to find what they could build... but now, you're showing them hundreds of items... the vast majority of which will point them to a dojo they don't have access to, or to items they can't build. Finding something noobs can build will now be a terrible and frustrating experience.

You need to have a filter based on materials that players have. That way, noobs can enter in what they have (autopopulate should be default), and it should filter based on what they can build. Extra option to include other mats they have not obtained to see what they COULD build would also be nice.

But the new system is absolutely terrible. You seriously could not have made it any worse.

  8. I think cross platform gameplay would be a very lucrative option for DE. Warframe is VERY word of mouth driven... and one holdback is the fact that players might not start playing with friends because they don't have the same systems. This is especially the case between PC and consoles. XB1, PS4, and PC crossplay would certainly bring many more players to the table just so they can join in with their friends.

And as far as "PC is a different build", they could always release a "cross platform" build that PC players could opt in for so they could join in with the other players... Yeah, PC gamers would dominate console gamers due to KBM being superior to controllers, but since the game is mostly PVE, that shoudln't matter too much. Perhaps PVP could have "all platform" modes, and another home console mode.

  9. The Vive is $200 more than the Rift (800 vs 600), but comes with the 2 controllers and room movement tracking... which I hear are absolutely amazing, if not a huge pain to setup. Still... If I'm going to spend that much money on VR, I might as well make it as immersive as possible. The headset itself is supposedly very heavy, though. That could be a bit of an issue in the longrun.

and she flat out scolds us if we do save it which gives me the vibe that lotus doesn't really care for them and since lotus is the leader of our faction her word is pretty much our law

But she still gave us the option to do so... it was up to us. She didn't have to tell us at all. She could have simply said to get to extraction. She still gave us the choice. She was also pissed about the murder of the colonists on the other mission... and asked us to finish off the grineer to "avenge" them. The colonists are not our enemies. That is clear. She clearly does not want them to die, but understands our survival is more important right now.

on one hand it might be nice to see but on the other I actually don't think the tenno and the lotus care about any faction besides their self

I think the lotus does not... but they're not explicitly our enemies. "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". As I mentioned above, we were given the option to save the colonist ship after we took the nav segment... the lotus didn't WANT us to, but gave us the option to do so. It was up to us to save them.

Credit tax should go to the dojo the trade is being hosted in, imo. [edit] - or am i stupid? iunno

[edit2] I think it used to be that Syndicate weapons could only be traded in the Bazaar, and that has changed.. so the tax should also be the same as in a dojo, don't you think?

Yes, there's obviously a tax charged to all players that are receiving items... based on the item traded. there's no way out of this. I'm specifically talking about the additional 10% tax charged for all trades at the bazaar. I agree with you that the tax should be whatever the player's dojo taxes. If you're not in a dojo, there should be no tax.

why do we need to justify ourselves? war is war. do soldiers justify their actions of killing other soldiers? we arent good neither are we bad, the grineer arent good neither are they bad. the corpus arent evil, neither are they bad. the infested are..infested.

There are enemies in every war... and they'll always be seen a "bad" to the opposing army. In our case, we are Tenno. That does not mean that we are not allied with anyone else, or want to help those who our enemies are harming. It's a common theme that the Grineer attack civilians... and we've been given options to save said civilians. I'm saying that it would be nice to save them... not just in word, but in action.

    "need"

Grineer are known to kill every civilian, and every time we go on a corpus planet, all corpus are kinda the civilians of these places.

In the tutorial missions, there were a couple of instances where "civilians" were brought up... that were separate from the corpus or the grineer.

First was when we went to a mining colony to find the colonists and see if they would give us a foundry module. We get there, and supposedly, all the colonists were killed. After we find the module, the lotus instructs us to killt he remaining grineer... to avenge the murdered colonists. Note that we had not been introduced the the corpus yet, and the following mission has Darvo tell us about the corpus.

Second, there was the mission for the Grineer galleon where we had to find the nav segment to find captain Vor. After you get the segment, the lotus gives you a CHOICE to either leave, or stay to sabatoge the grineer ship and save the convoy full of colonists. If you save the colonists, the lotus even complains that you should have been more careful and not risked yourself.

The tutorial talks plenty about "colonists" that are separate from corpus or grineer. I'm just saying that we should see more of these so called "colonists", as they're apparently the ones that are suffering in the middle of this war between the corpus, grineer, and tenno.

The Grineer are hungry for conquest. They are not exactly "chilling", they are constantly advancing and trying to find a way to conquer and eradicate all that is not Grineer, from what little remains which is not Grineer territory.

The Corpus on the other hand, they are just a bunch of exceedingly greedy merchants who like to build gundams to pass their time. Other than Alad V who ripped apart Warframes for his supposed "research" they aren't exactly evil from what I see.

I'm not saying they're not dangerous. They're obviously supposed to be dangerous conquerers... but when we see them, they're just sitting around chilling. i'm talking about supporting the story and making us actually play into it. As far as the corpus go, I think they should also see more aggressive actions by the corpus. Darvo was supposedly exiled, if not hunted by the corpus, because he gives the tenno discounts.

I'm just saying that they should add more supportive concepts to missions to make us FEEL that the enemies are actually dangerous to anyone other than us personally.

  16. I feel that the conflicts between the factions feel really contrived. The only faction that seems like it's actually dangerous is the infested. The corpus just chill with their robots, lookin up orokin tech, and the Grineer just chill on their asteroids n' ships doin whatever it is they do. Supposedly, they're all very bad people, but we don'ts see that. Occasionally, we're told that the grineer are attacking a civilian ship, but it's not at all visible. As far as the void goes, it's just designed to protect itself... and we're raiding it's goodies.

Honestly, it kinda feels like the tenno are the real troublemakers here.

So, I think it would help quite a bit to enforce the idea that the  "bad guys" are really the danger by actually adding some missions with civillians that we have to protect. Perhaps make some missions where we have to go through a civilian ship and save the hostages, where grineer are physically using them as cover, and you have to stealth kill them or get headshots to release them.

Whatever the new concepts might be, it would be nice to see some sort of justification to all of our murder. so much murder.

  17. While I like where the bazaar is going, it's pretty much non-usable due to the tax. I mean... 10%? Really??? Very few dojos charge even close to that tax, and at least if they do, the clan actually gets that tax for expanding the dojo. The bazaar tax is just a useless penalty that ruins the trading experience. Why would anyone use the bazaar when they could just go to their dojo and do it there for less credits?
