The Lex and Lex Prime have the best firing sound. By far. And the Marelock, which totally outclasses it, sounds like a pickaxe.

+1 to you OP. Dedicated movement set for gammacor-type weapons makes so much sense I'd be surprised if someone wasn't already working on it.

Unstuck not happening because DE believes that if you can just unstick yourself, fewer people report problem areas/situations that cause "stuckness."

No real justification for that suggestion, I just miss cutting dudes in half with lasers. Nothing seems to do that quite the way it used to anymore.
As for melee, synoid obex? Kinda follows that energy weapon theme. Or maybe some kind of energy-bladed venka?

I did like the old way continuous weapons worked. That big change made it sound like it was just a cosmetic change to make the numbers easier to read or so that people had a better idea of what kind of damage, crit rate, etc. they were doing. This, as far as I knew, was never actually much of a problem to begin with, and didn't need solving (at least not for aforementioned reason). The fact that it wasn't just a change to the display, and actually had effects of gameplay and damage dealing is why I ultimately stopped using most continuous weapons.

Things like this are why there should be a test room. Maybe some kind of VR thing accessible in the arsenal.

Nope. At present, the game offers no way to control who does and does not host.
