  1. I've been wanting to have something like this in Warframe for a while. Let us choose between Prime, Deluxe and Default on abilities that change it.
  2. I feel like in the cases of Sniper rifles, it would be rather easy. Not sure if this would apply to other weapons but... Make it so that the "Incarnon" switch only works if pressed while unzoomed. I think I remember making a suggestion ages ago in regards to the Buzlok. Only fire the "dart/tracking" projectile while zoomed in and unzoom to switch modes. Potentially allowing you to use the marker in both modes too.
  3. I keep seeing this but I've never actually seen a source to back this up. Is this just an assumption or has this actually been publically stated?
  4. Speaking of. Since Nikana (Prime) and Dragon Nikana are treat as seperate entities in the game logic (Nikana/Prime and Dragon Nikana rivens both exist) I'd like the Dragon Nikana to get an Incarnon, since once upon a time the Dragon Nikana was seen as a symbol of veteran players in early Warframe back when Oxium was much harder to obtain. I'd like if the Dragon Nikana got an incarnon, but not the regular/prime so that the Dragon Nikana can be on par with the Prime Nikana (Unless of course DE decide to make Dragon Nikana Prime in which all this becomes irrelevant)
  5. I personally suspect either 3-4 Protoframes but I could be wrong. Excalibur (check) Mag (check) and Volt Since they are the three starter frames. However, there could be a chance Loki could get one since he used to be a Starter Warframe
  6. For context, I've completed every quest in Warframe and I'm sure some of these are simply a result of replaying them after completing later quests but I thought it was worth listing these in case they effect first time players or etc. I also just felt in the mood to replay all the Cinematic Quests again since some I've not replayed in years. I also don't normally run the Grineer landing craft but chose to do so just in case it had some odd results. The Second Dream Mostly fine, but Lotus is replaced with Holo-Lotus, this isn't too much of an issue, however during the final cutscene her model was perfectly fine, but her voice kept glitching out as if it was Holo-Lotus despite being...well in the flesh. Some camera panning at the start/end of cutscenes are a bit slow making it slightly awkward Fade to black also appears to be slow, for example at the end of the Second Dream I could run around and aim in my Orbiter for a few seconds despite my Warframe supposed to be on the floor. The War Within Again, Holo-Lotus. This will probably be a trend. Upon encountering the first cutscene of meeting Teshin, instead of my own Warframe it changed to a default Excalibur (this bothered me enough to start making this thread, since I have a feeling this might occur on a first playthrough) I'll write more as I come across them. I literally began writing this thread after the previous^ bug was encountered EDIT: Things were pretty smooth sailing besides a few visual bugs. At the end of the Sacrifice Quest, I found myself softlocked in Umbra after they fly off into the sky. I'm not really sure if you'd classify this as a softlock since the scene ends anyway, but I wasn't able to walk or run around like I could in the past. Umbra kinda just stood in the standard "Warframe transference" pose. I'll leave The New War for tommorow since it's on the longer side. EDIT 2: I finished The New War and surprisingly didn't encounter any bugs, though when Ballas knocks you into Operator mode during his fight, certain abilities like Styanax's 4th will continue to play until the duration ends Only hiccup being sneaking past the Deacons in the Orb Vallis, I swear they detect you from much further away now when they didn't used to
  7. I like it because it reminds me of War of the Worlds Tripods from 2005
  8. For me, it generally depends on how fun the abilities are. If the abilities are fun, then Castors are fun. But for me personally, the Gunplay of Warframe is my favourite. While there are certainly Warframes that augment your damage and even the Gunframe Mesa, I'd like if DE made a Warframe that was tailor made to be a Weapons platform, a proper Commando, Rambo Warframe or etc. Where all his abilities have benefits to your guns. Again, several frames do benefit gunplay, Protea's Dispensary, most of the starter Warframes with an augment, Lavos' transmutation But I want a Warframe that, rather than having one skill to benefit gunplay, all their skills benefit gunplay. Think of gun mechanics or stats that aren't tapped into all that often. I want Punch Through that actually punches, Multishot that goes crazy. The ability to regenerate ammo and the stat I really wish we saw more usage of...Ammo Efficiency.
  9. I'm 90% sure I'm probably not the first person to talk about this, or bring it up before on the forums but it is something I've held feelings about for years. I'm sure a great many Tenno here use, or have used Steam at some point. If so you're probably familiar with how Steam handles bundles. If you already own certain content as part of a Steam bundle, it shaves some of the price off giving you a discount (even applying if the bundle is part of an on-going discount) Basically, I'd like something like that for the In-Game market in Warframe, not talking about external Bundles that cost real world money, that being said. That would also be a nice bonus. Deluxe Bundles have always been in a bit of a weird area for me because of that. I want to get the Deluxe warframe skins but the best value has always been to purchase them as a completed bundle, since if you get the Warframe skin seperately, you'd still have to pay full price if you wanted to get the rest of the bundle at a later date. I don't want to assume any sort of malice or deceptive nature to these, for all I know it might have just been a complete oversight at DE that has been unaddressed for a long time (I don't think it's controversial to say this tends to happen) For the most part, or at least for me personally this hasn't been a major issue since bundles are typically in the 200-300 platinum range, some go over that but even those that do tend to have other things in the bundle that balance it out and make you go "yeah, that's fair." But Xaku's Deluxe Bundle has always been a sore spot for me. While I acknowledge it also contains the Lotus skin. I've always held off on buying the Xaku Deluxe bundle. I think the Xaku skin is amazing but the price of the bundle at 430 Platinum has always felt more on the expensive side, Lotus skin and Ephemera aside, I always felt like the Xaku Deluxe bundle was a bit "bloated" with the Orbiter decorations that can be obtained from the bundle. While Fashionframe is indeed the true endgame, I haven't exactly got a huge passion for ship decor, which has always made the ship decor from the Xaku bundle feel like a negative that increases the price, rather than a net positive to the bundle. Sorry for that rant, but I thought it was worth giving that context as to why I feel like Warframe could do with a Discount system to Bundles when owning pieces of said bundle.
  10. It's not something I in particularly want. It's more of "If this does come anyway, I'd rather the Operator didn't get excluded."
  11. I'm personally in favor of more Primes releasing outside of Prime Access for weapons that will never make the Prime Access cut. Though instead of being through Baro, I wish they'd just be universally accessible through the Prime Resurgence trader. It's up to DE how far to take it, but the Akimbo/Singular ordeal in relation to Primes is a good place to tackle. I imagine many, many players want Furis Prime, even more so after the Incarnon.
  12. Did...Did you just read the first part of my post and ignore the rest of it? Because you've just stated my exact problem with it.
  13. While cutting the head off of a snake will typically kill the body, certain dreams can live on even without their dreamer. Narmer is a good example if we wanted to take an in-universe standpoint.
  14. Incarnon or not, I'd rather they just let you equip two Stance mods on it (-50% mod capacity gained for each to balance it out), and you switch between modes with a Heavy Attack. Could even make them both Universal Stance slots as a nice bonus.
  15. Even if it's a Herculian feat, I still hope DE choose to go down the path of allowing players to change the textures on all skins. Void Shell skins can still be unique and offer more textures for their releases, similar to Kavat/Kubrow bundles.
  16. If we're talking weapons that already have an alt-fire mechanic. I'd love an incarnon for the Buzlok. Don't know if DE would touch Snipetron since it's sort of a retconned weapon. I also wonder if DE would make one for the War since Void and Sentient doesn't typically mesh well, unless the War is too dead or inert to count as a Sentient anymore. Huh, didn't know it even had an Alt fire. That being said. I doubt anyone is going to cry over it being lost if it meant getting an Incarnon. (The Stug I mean)
  17. I imagine it'll probably stay the same. Like how we made "peace" with several Syndicates through quests and they still send literal death squads after us.
  18. This is a great point. I made posts about it at the time, but the Miter's final evolution is a bit underwhelming. You have, a cool and unique mechanic that is tied down with too many restrictions and limitations vs Two general all purpose status/crit buffs. I remember at the time, someone tried to make a build all around the final Evolution and no matter what build you tried, it was always inferior to the general stat buffs.
  19. Personally, I feel like it'd be best if DE looked over the weapons with the lowest player usage (not counting Mastery Rank farming) There's a lot of weapons I do want Incarnon'd but there's also a lot of weapons that deserve a buff. I'm actually kinda astonished that the Stug wasn't done in the first or second batch. Seems like it'd be perfect for a "Charge Gained on Direct Hit" If I had to choose another weapon that I kinda want to see? Acrid. At one point it used to be a meta weapon because it would bypass Shields in Early Warframe, I never got to try that but I want to. Also I just, generally think that the Acrid has a cool weapon design. Whether it be through Infested Liches or Incarnons, I want an upgrade to the Phage.
  20. I gotta admit. I do want to play as the Acolytes but I think I remember making a thread along the lines of "Would you prefer to get Stalker, or would you prefer to get all his Acolytes?" and I think the consensus was a general "neither" The closest thing I could see happening in regards to Acolytes is some sort of new material, resource or gear that lets us enhance a Warframe with something related to Acolytes. Similar to installing an Orokin Catalyst. That way we can turn any Warframe into an "Acolyte" that's not just "here's roughly 6 new warframes that look slightly different"
  21. That's honestly my feeling too. I'm not sure I want Drifter Melee myself, but this is more of a hypothetical "if this is going to happen regardless" type of deal for me.
  22. Most people say that it'll degrade his character, but I disagree depending on how it's handled. For instance, every Warframe we obtain (you could argue with the exception of your Starter Warframe) isn't the original Warframe, and I don't personally consider the Primes the "originals" either. Not all Warframes get a proper story. But I've always seen every Warframe we craft as being a clone, a mimic, a replica of the original idea. Although I do consider the Warframes "alive" when I subsume for example, Dagath. I don't associate it with the Original Dagath. Heck, even Umbra we literally rebuild him. The Umbra we take control of isn't the same Umbra from all those years ago, though he does share the memory and pain. Stalker can be handled the same way, we're not "the" Stalker. We're merely a copy or replica of him, like how we took his weapons for ourselves. Though if you really wanted to make a strong point of leaving Stalker's legacy intact...We could always...Kill him... I doubt anyone wants that scenario, but that would make a concrete distinction between the Playable Stalker and "The" Stalker. His honor remains intact, even if we decide to turn him Pink and raid a Relay with him.
  23. I don't have exact timestamps, but I believe it was the second to last question before the stream ended. The question was roughly about being able to use Drifter melee outside of Duviri or in Core gameplay which Rebecca seemed like she wasn't against the idea. My problem is, I prefer to use my Operator over the Drifter, I know many people are the opposite. For me it's because I'm more familiar with the Operator, though I understand even after The Second Dream came out people weren't fond of their character being a kid. Also, Operator randomly gives chatter in missions where as Drifter doesn't if you choose to use the Drifter. I bring this up because while I prefer to use my Operator, I feel like having Drifter melee would potentially exclude players who use their Operator, and I don't think it's worth setting up a whole new system for Operator melee. My solution would be if we could swap between the two mid-mission. Or if you choose to use the Operator, your Operator and Drifter would switch places during Melee attacks. Similarly to how you instantly transfer to your Warframe if you Melee while in Operator form, and then switch back to your Operator when aiming/shooting. I feel like this would all around feel cooler and more impactful for your Drifter to be on-call like that. Since the Drifter already has Ranged and Melee hooked up, choosing to use Drifter could simply just ignore the Operator entirely if that's what you'd prefer. P.S. while on the topic of the Drifter, can we get more Guns in Duviri please? I wouldn't mind a Musket or Blunderbuss.
  24. One of the reasons why I think it's interesting to bring up old topics every once in a while, to see how opinions differ either from different people voicing their opinions or the subjective opinion changing with the game or over time.
  25. I can relate to this one personally. I have Daft Punk's Aerodynamic on my Mandachord but I never use it because I confuse the Beat and Percussion with each other and end up missing every note.
