I mean, an actual deluxe skin for excal would be pretty sweet. No need to make specific ones for Excal prime and normal Excal. I REALLY don't see why that would be suggested in any way.

Here is the problem with that as well: There has been no indication that sentient minded warframes were no longer needed or thought of. Ballas explained that the reason why Tenno can control the warframes is not due to our abilities persé but because we can "heal" their broken minds/memories. And thus fight along the warframes and not just use them as puppets alone.
Everything so far is speculation except for a couple things:
The original warframes were made from Dax soldiers that were the best, wether they were willing to undergo the transformation or not, they were used. The Orokin were unable to control them and destroyed both their mind and body in trying. Rhino P's Codex suggests that a Tenno (randomly, accidently or otherwise) connected with him and calmed his mind and was able to control the body.
Umbra, wether a name for a type of frame or the name of the Dax that was used to make him, was tormented and transformed not because the main purpose was for him to bne used by the Tenno but as a punishment for spying/betraying Ballas. They were, seemingly, also friends with each other.
The next thing is in between speculation and fact:
In TSD our warframe is pulling/breaking Hunhows fragment/sword, seemingly on his own without our help. The reason why it Strongly suggests that the warframe showed sentients was due to us not yet being able to use transference without the help of the chair/machine until TWW were our character specifically said that he/she no longer needed it. It also showed us that both the Stalker, Hunhow and US were baffled by what was happening. Our warframe, not controlled by us, was doing this out of his/her own will. Was it self defence? Was it for our protection? We don't know but, with all the info we got from The Sacrifice it suggests that it did to protect us.
A couple questions I have, of which one I am curious about since the discussion is (of which some may have already been answered by codex or otherwise) Why is there a normal version and a Prime? Why is the Prime special, except for it's better statisical benefit? Is it because a Tenno was more proficient with his/her abilities that the Warframe provided and thus the Orokin decorated that one specifically for them? Is it because it was made by the Orokin themselfs and not a replicate that the Tenno made? Is it because the blueprints for these warframes were lost and had to be recreated by us/Ordis to look like their original? Is a Prime the original or a perfected version?
Why, when you start playing the game for the first time, is it that you start out as a warframe (besides gameplay reasons) in a cryopod?

I don't think Umbra was any kind of warframe 2.0 or a precursor or anything.
Ballas clearly stated that he made the Dax into a Warframe because the Dax knew of Ballas' plans to betray the orokin to the Sentients. This betrayal led to Lotus/Natah comming to us, infiltrating the Orokin and making the Tenno betray the Orokin but she didn't complete the last task of killing the Tenno afterwards.
It was a revenge thing and it was DURING the Orokin/sentient war WITH the Tenno already being used to control the warframes and fight the Sentients. This is implied because Ballas tells the Dax that he will be turned and used by the "devils" which refers to the Tenno.

Anyways, what he means to say is that Stalker is like Umbra, except that he infected himself with the helminth virus to become a warframe (I think) to avenge the Orokin.

Alright so I saw this post and thought I'd give it a try. Thing is, I don't have the Razer SDK Core COmponents but I do have Razer SDK Core Components. I deleted that and it fixed the issue.
I guess the update is conflicting somewhere with Razer lighting and stuff, seeing as removing the razer stuff fixes it.

Updated everything, verified cache and a boat load of other stuff (reboots included) and nothing works for me. It still crashing upon loggin.

Sure, if it is good this time. I liked the concept (ofcourse, who doesn't like raids in MMO's) but it really wasn't good.
The way to get arcanes now is much better, imo,
I do wish to see larger parties back for fun times. Maybe they can do that with the Open world aspects of the game where there are more parties at once once the worlds get bigger.

same here, when I start up I can log in and then when I get the message upon loggin it crashes instantly.
My friend is able to log in without issues, idk why I can't.

Blueprints for weapons and warframes should be displayed first and Plat last... Thing is, that would be in an ideal world. To make money in an FPP MMO you need to advertise premium currency/items, the way they do it is the standard: look at all the shinies! buy em with plat! Or.... make em yourself, but BUY THEM! The time gating is also a standard, al be it oldschool, methode of attracting the purchase.
But honestly, the game has good rep. THey can, IMO, afford to do it differntly. What they should definately do, though, is show weapons/warframe BP's according to your MR. To show what a player can get at their new level, to let them get excited about all the new stuff they can get now that they have ranked up. It also gives them direction on what to do, giving you a sense of progression. Progression that isn't just made by you but also told by the game itself.

Heavy attacks should do something special, not just big damage numbers:
Heavy blade/weapons should slam the ground and create a damaging shockwave.
Longswords do something like exalted blade from excal and send out a wave?
Polearms: Idk, I barely use them and don't know what woiuld be awesome to see on it, maybe instead of a "charged attack" it goes into a whirling mode with extended range.
Scythes have lifesteal on it?
Gunblades already have a nice gimmick to their charged attacks.
Pretty much what i can think of right NOW. But it is just a suggestion for possibilities that they can do with it.
Charged attacks shouldn't be generic more damage slow charge attacks, this game is not made for it, it should be something truly usefull. (I actually kinda like the Ground slamming and shockwave trhing that a heavy weapon would have)

Just like the warframes themselfs, I want them to be OP as hell. They are conduits of the void that has immeasurable power but they don't feel like it.
Focus tree is nice, ofcourse it could improve but so far I like it. Customisation is different for everyone, they aren't model childeren but you CAN make them look okay/good, it requires some time and the right faces to blend though.
Operator Combat.... Well, it is clunky. I wish it was more fluent, quicker, more.... explosive! Void bursting out and exploding enemies all around! They should feel like an Ultimate ability at times, decimating things. Maybe give them more cooldown based attacks that deal high damage but leaves you vulnerable? idk.
Also, when do they grow up? I get that they are childeren and all and that stasis has left their appearance unchanged but make em grow old! I want my tenno to have a beard, deep voice and move quick! Make him feel more like... me? Childeren are not at all relatable to me, mostly because I am no longer a child for a looong time. I think the next big quest should skip time a little and let them grow up a bit. And more combat heavy. Give em a sword that they can infuse with void energy and make that amp a BFG! (like the Sentient weapon concept art)

Excal prime isn't comming back ever again. And why would you want it to? Excal umbra is better and looks way better IMO.

I see a lot of comments about Founders being berated and I kinda feel the same mostly because that happens to me as well.
Example from since this update is:"now your 200$ frame is useless as everyone got a better version." or "Feels pretty bad to pay for a frame that is inferior to Umbra".
Seriously? I bought it for Prime, sure, but also to support a game that I saw potential in in a time were the game was basic. I did not buy it to be insulted or to feel superior to others.
Sure, there are a few elitist vocal founders that think they need everything but there are many that are just quite and don't even think about it most of the time, myself included.
Would it be nice if they added a little thing to Prime? Sure. Is it needed/necessary? Nope.
Anways, not saying that your contribution to WF is inferior to what founders payed. It's just a difference in time and content that was out. That is it.
If founders found it worth to infest in the game at that state back then, they will surely think it is to put that money in the game right now. Something I believe in my case. None of my plat purchases (or fast amount of Tennogen purchases which are def worth it, props to all the creators) made me feel guilty or feel like I shouldn't have.

His kind is Orokin, he says it in a way as it were a question that someone might ask, and he, somewhat indirectly, gives andswer to the question (Humans destroying the new place that the sentients were supposed to find just like they did to earth)

Well, except for everything said, I guess Umbra is NOT a warframe type but the warframes actual NAME. considering Ballas calls him umbra, which would be weird if you call someone by their type of person all the time.

I am not going to delve into the salt atm. This seems like an issue you guys are mouthy enough about. I am just happy to see the Chroma Graxx skin in there! You have my money from that Faven!
And the Other chroma skin is going to be added to my collection as well! (I really dig the syandana that goes with it, so that is another 5 bucks out there for ya Stench!)

I am up for joke or SFX mods but for the love of god let them have their own slot? We can see this a cosmetic reward dump (the mission type that is) I do a lot of things for Cosmetics in game even though the contribute nothing and, honestly, sacrificing a mod slot on a game where min maxing is what the game is a ll about, second to fashion ofcourse, seems like an odd choice to me. Unless it comes with it's own slot. Then I will be all in for it.

Honestly, I'd say my opinion wouldn't have chaged with them sticking with ANOTHER exalted weapon or them going for new ability that is a mix of plenty of other abilities (which, also, plenty of other WF's have)

Honestly, if they only do that the whole time during the mission there is justr nothing for me to do. This game is all about the killing... with Numbers... And if that is taken away from me during extermination missions it becomes all about how fast can I get to extraction after mesa kills everything.
I am not so much mad and just very bored and annoyed that such a thing that take away all the pleasure this game gives me :/

Change prime and deluxe textures, sure, but meshes? Not so much. It would take a while to get them in game. Making the rig work on every new mesh is time consuming. And people already complain about the time DE takes to do stuff (for certain things) so nah.
I would to see some prime frames. Plenty that can become nice with added textures to prime parts.

Make em larger. Quicker than other heavy blades, increase their Range and lessen their base damage, voila, A new type of heavy blade, aka scythes that are quick and reach plentyfull.
I am up for that honestly. I likethe scythe design but the lack of range and good stances make it a pain to run with one. If this makes it through I would love it. (tempo royal with scythes? Hell yeah)

Couple of reasons for me to go solo as opposed to going with others: Plains is an easy one, if it is night time I want to farm the Wisps. I go around, collect the ones that are there, go out and back in. Easy farming of them, or I just want to mine and collect other materials and back out quick again.
Mission I play solo mostly is spy and sometimes survival. Spy because of, somewhat, obvious reasons. Only one that can screw it up is myself. (this goes for sortie mostly) And I actually like doing spy myself and take the time I need for them :).
Survival is just fun to play solo at times, seeing how far I can get with my gear. Focus farming is an obvious one but that is about it. Nothing else to make me go solo though, I like playing with others.
Who's in favor for a less PC-heavy version of open-worlds?

I mean, It is already pretty well optimized for the lower spec. Not so much for the ULTRA LOW spec. I know not everyone can afford a good pc but then you might as well get a console for the game instead. Then you can atleast know that it will be stable. Or buy some of the cheaper stuff for a pc on the internet and build one. Getting decent/good performance (especially now with how far the graphics and cpu industry has improved) is pretty "cheap".
In the end, you can ask quite a bit from developers but this is something they can't "fix" for you. To be blunt; This sounds like a you problem.
