  1. INFORMATION This is a quick information tab, so you know what's going on in this guide. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Difficulty to Obtain: A number from one to five, about how hard it may be to get this frame. Please note that it's often RNG, which some people can get lucky with, and others don't. 1 = Almost free. From Excalibur to Nezha. 2 = Boss drops. From Rhino to Saryn. 3 = Quest. From Inaros to Mirage. 4 = Bounty drops. From Gara to Garuda. 5 = Oftentimes a grind. From Ash to Harrow. Prerequisites: This is what you have to do before you can even try to get the frame. For example, it will show a quest, or a planet you need to unlock. Acquisition: This is how you get the Warframe. it includes the place, percent chance, and what quest you may have to do. Tips: These are tips on how to acquire the Warframe. Place to try? Items to equip? etc... History: The year the Warframe released. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: Some Warframes do semi-require certain quests. For example, Chroma does require 'The Second Dream' and 'The War Within' quest (to unlock the planets he is on). However, for Prerequisites, I am only including things that are fully required. For Chroma, that would be Sedna unlocked and 'The New Strange' quest complete. Note: All text in this guide relating to anything past 'Chains of Harrow' quest will have spoiler text over it. That's it! Every Warframe will have a tab like what was above. The last tab in this guide is about Primes. It shows every unvaulted Prime, what's in access, what's next to vault, and even what the next Primed Warframe and weapons will be. This guide is also on Steam, if you'd rather look at it there. Good luck, Tenno! -Bubbha ASH Difficulty to Obtain: 5/5 Prerequisites: 'Rising Tides' quest and the empyrean location Pluto. Acquisition: Railjack, which is unlocked via the 'Rising Tides' quest. Your Railjack can be upgraded and modded to higher levels by just playing and unlocking Intrinsics and new mods. From Survival, Rotation A or Defense, Rotation A. He also drops from Railjack Exterminate and Volatile. He has an 13.33% chance for neuroptics, systems, and chassis in Survival and Defense, and 4.82%-4.88% in Exterminate and Volatile. Venus Proxima: Ash Systems Neptune Proxima: Ash Neuroptics Pluto Proxima: Ash Chassis His blueprint is found in the Market or as a daily login reward. Tips: I suggest doing Survival and just leveling your Necramechs to get those done, bring some low-level weapons, you know. Do some other things while you're at it because Survivals take a bit of time. Defense often takes longer because the Corpus get stuck (even with a speed-nova). History: Ash was released in 2012, as one of the original eight frames. ATLAS Difficulty to Obtain: 3/5 Prerequisites: 'The Jordas Golem' quest. Acquisition: His component blueprints are dropped from the boss the Jordas Golem on Eris. Atlas Systems: 22.56% Atlas Neuroptics: 38.72% Atlas Chassis: 38.72% His blueprint is found in the Market or as a daily login reward. Tips: I suggest using Amesha or Itzal. The boss really isn't that hard, just used a decent archgun and archwing. The quest takes about two days, most of it crafting, but really isn't that hard either. History: Atlas was released in 2015. BANSHEE Difficulty to Obtain: 1/5 Prerequisites: Be in a Clan. Acquisition: Her components are sold from the Tenno Lab in any clan that has her. Her blueprint is sold from the Tenno Lab in any clan that has her. Tips: No tips to give. History: Banshee was released in 2013. BARUUK Difficulty to Obtain: 4/5 Prerequisites: 'Vox Solaris' quest, Rank 5 with Solaris United, and Rank 3 with Vox Solaris. Acquisition: His component blueprints are sold by Little Duck for 5,000 Standing each at Hand Rank with Vox Solaris. His blueprint is sold by Little Duck for 5,000 Standing at Agent Rank with Vox Solaris. Tips: Run only Stage 1 of the bounties in Fortuna until you gather enough debt-bonds to Rank up to Rank 5. Once you hit Rank 5, do all four phases of the Profit-Taker and gather enough materials for Rank 3 with Vox Solaris. History: Baruuk was released in 2018. CALIBAN CHROMA Difficulty to Obtain: 3/5 Prerequisites: 'The New Strange' quest, Sedna unlocked, and be in a Clan. Acquisition: The component blueprints are received upon three different Junction completions. Chroma Systems: Pluto Junction Chroma Neuroptics: Uranus Junction Chroma Chassis: Neptune Junction His blueprint is gained after completion of 'The New Strange' quest. Tips: 'The New Strange' quest is required to even get to the Pluto Junction. Just by working on your Sol System you can unlock him. However, his systems do require Saryn's systems to build. This requires Sedna. While farming Saryn, you may get two systems. Use one for Saryn, and the other for Chroma. He also requires Ember Neuroptics (Saturn), Frost Chassis (Ceres), and Volt Neuroptics (Clan Dojo). History: Chroma was released in 2015. EMBER Difficulty to Obtain: 2/5 Prerequisites: Saturn unlocked. Acquisition: Her component blueprints are dropped by the boss Sargus Ruk on Saturn. Ember Systems: 22.56% Ember Neuroptics: 38.72% Ember Chassis: 38.72% Her blueprint is found in the Market or as a daily login reward. Tips: No tips to give. History: Ember was released in 2012, as one of the original eight frames. EQUINOX Difficulty to Obtain: 2/5 Prerequisites: Uranus unlocked. Acquisition: Her component blueprints are dropped from the boss Tyl Regor on Uranus. Night Aspect: 11.28% Night Systems: 12.91% Night Neuroptics: 12.91% Night Chassis: 12.91% Day Aspect: 11.28% Day Systems: 12.91% Day Neuroptics: 12.91% Day Chassis: 12.91% Her blueprint is found in the Market or as a daily login reward. Tips: Get a team and turn your brain off. Just run the boss over and over until you finally get all eight parts. She has three blueprints, one is from the market, and the other two from the boss. All six component blueprints drop from Tyl Regor as well. History: Equinox was released in 2015. EXCALIBUR Difficulty to Obtain: 1/5 Prerequisites: 'Awakening' quest (if you chose him) or Mars unlocked Acquisition: In the 'Awakening' quest, you can gain Excalibur for free. A fully built Excalibur is sold from Teshin for 60,000 Conclave standing at Rank 5. His component blueprints drop from the boss Lieutenant Lech Kril on Mars. Excalibur Systems: 22.56% Excalibur Neuroptics: 38.72% Excalibur Chassis: 38.72% His blueprint is found in the Market or as a daily login reward. Tips: No tips to give. History: Excalibur was released in 2012, as one of the original eight frames. FROST Difficulty to Obtain: 2/5 Prerequisites: Ceres unlocked. Acquisition: His component blueprints are dropped from the boss the dual boss of Captain Vor and Lech Kril on Ceres. Frost Systems: 22.56% Frost Neuroptics: 38.72% Frost Chassis: 38.72% His blueprint is found in the Market or as a daily login reward. Tips: No tips to give. History: Frost was released in 2013. GARA Difficulty to Obtain: 4/5 Prerequisites: 'Saya's Vigil' quest. Acquisition: Her component blueprints are dropped from the bounties in Cetus, on Earth. She is dropped from Tier 1, 2, and 3 bounties, with the highest chances below: Gara Systems: 21.82% in Stage 3 Gara Neuroptics: 21.43% in Stage 3 Gara Chassis: 30.52% in Stage 4 Her blueprint is gained after completion of the 'Saya's Vigil' quest. Tips: The best way to farm her is to speed run bounties in Cetus, get to the Stage mentioned above, and reset by entering Cetus. History: Gara was released in 2017. GARUDA Difficulty to Obtain: 4/5 Prerequisites: 'Vox Solaris' quest. Acquisition: Her component blueprints are dropped from the bounties in Fortuna, on Venus. She is dropped from Tier 1, 2, and 3 bounties, with the highest chances below: Garuda Systems: 22.22% in Stage 3 Garuda Neuroptics: 25% in Stage 3 Garuda Chassis: 30.56% in Stage 4 Her blueprint is gained after completion of the 'Vox Solaris' quest. Tips: The best way to farm her is to speed run bounties in Fortuna, get to the Stage mentioned above, and reset by entering Fortuna. History: Garuda was released in 2018. GAUSS Difficulty to Obtain: 5/5 Prerequisites: Sedna unlocked. Acquisition: His component blueprints are dropped from the Disruption mission on Sedna, Kappa, at Rotation C. Gauss Systems: 7.84% Gauss Neuroptics: 7.84% Gauss Chassis: 7.84% His blueprint is found in the Market or as a daily login reward. Tips: Run Kappa and get all four Conduits for the first four rounds. If you do so, you can defend only one for the following rounds and still have Rotation C. Keep going until you get him or have to leave, and don't reset every four rounds since Rotation C sticks around. Save time by bringing good gear and staying till you unlock him. History: Gauss was released in 2019. GRENDEL Difficulty to Obtain: 5/5 Prerequisites: All nodes completed. Acquisition: His component blueprints are dropped from the three exclusive Europa missions unlocked from the Arbitration Honor vendor in Relays, which cost 25 Vitus Essence each. The items are called Grendel Part Locators. These exclusive missions have a 100% drop rate of his parts; however, they are highly difficult and call upon skill instead of blowing stuff up. All mods are disabled, along with your Operator, Gear items, and Focus abilities. These are the missions you must complete: Grendel Systems Locator: 800 Cryotic Excavation Grendel Neuroptics Locator: 20-minute Survival Grendel Chassis Locator: 10-wave Defense His blueprint is found in the Market or as a daily login reward. Tips: For the above information, that's if you're doing it yourself. You can also pair with someone who already has a Grendel Part Locator, and it will not cost you anything. Thus, you can farm him without settings foot in Arbitrations at all. Keep an eye on Recruiting channel, if you don't want to spend time in Arbitrations. It's a good idea to have a team, anyways, including Warframes like Frost or Limbo to protect the objectives and Trinity or Harrow for healing. History: Grendel was released in 2019. GYRE HARROW Difficulty to Obtain: 5/5 Prerequisites: 'Chains of Harrow' quest. Acquisition: His component blueprints are dropped from four different spots: Harrow Systems: 15% from Rotation C and 6% from Rotation B Defection missions Harrow Neuroptics: 16.67% from Rotation A and 12% from rotation C on the Spy Mission Pago, Kuva Fortress Harrow Systems and Neuroptics: 12% from Rotation C on the Kuva Survival Mission Taveuni, Kuva Fortress Harrow Chassis: 3% chance to drop from Void Fissure enemies His blueprint is gained for completion of the 'Chains of Harrow' quest. Tips: For his systems, get a good team and rush the Defection on Phobos. For his neuroptics, just run the Spy missions a couple times with a decent stealth frame. For the chassis, you should have a couple hundred by now if you are farming his other parts. If you need Kuva, then just run the Kuva Survival to Rotation C a couple times. History: Harrow was released in 2017. HILDRYN Difficulty to Obtain: 4/5 Prerequisites: 'Vox Solaris' quest, Rank 5 with Solaris United, and Rank 2 with Vox Solaris. Acquisition: Her component blueprints are dropped from the Exploiter Orb boss on the Orb Vallis, Venus. Start it by talking to Little Duck in the backroom. Hildryn Systems: 22.56% Hildryn Neuroptics: 38.72% Hildryn Chassis: 38.72% Her blueprint is sold by Little Duck for 5,000 Standing at Agent Rank with Vox Solaris. Tips: Get a couple teammates and an hour or two spare, and just go at the Orb. Grab your rewards before the Orb explodes once you kill it. History: Hildryn was released in 2019. HYDROID Difficulty to Obtain: 2/5 Prerequisites: Mastery Rank 5 Acquisition: His component blueprints are dropped from the boss Counselor Vay Hek on Earth. Hydroid Systems: 22.56% Hydroid Neuroptics: 38.72% Hydroid Chassis: 38.72% His blueprint is found in the Market or as a daily login reward. Tips: No tips to give. History: Hydroid was released in 2014. INAROS Difficulty to Obtain: 3/5 Prerequisites: 'Sands of Inaros' quest. Acquisition: His component blueprints are gained from the 'Sands of Inaros' quest. His blueprint is gained from the 'Sands of Inaros' quest. Tips: During 'Sands of Inaros', when you begin fighting kavats, I suggest scanning thing (and having a Resource Booster, if possible) so you're grind for Smeeta, Vasca, and Adarza kavats later on will be easier. Also, if you want to complete your Codex, bring a Helios to scan the boss near the end, or scan it yourself because the quest is not replayable. History: Inaros was released in 2016. IVARA Difficulty to Obtain: 5/5 Prerequisites: Uranus unlocked. Acquisition: Her component blueprints are gained via Spy missions- Tier 1, 2, 3, Lua, or Railjack count. Tips: I suggest doing Tier 1 and Tier 3 spies for related parts, and Neptune Proxima for Ivara's Chassis. Also, for reference, Tier 1 means the planets from Earth to Phobos, Tier 2 means Ceres to Saturn, and Tier 3 means Uranus to Sedna. Tips: Join Sanctuary Onslaught with a couple others and play until you complete Zone 8. If you happen to obtain Khora's Systems and blueprint before the others, then cut it down to Zone 6 or to Zone 4 if you only need her chassis. Also, for reference, every two Zones is a Rotation. The Rotation for this mission is AABC, meaning Zones 2 and 4 are A, Zone 6 is B, and Zone 8 is C. History: Khora was released in 2018. 2. It seems like everything would be better if all three mechanics were simply not in the game.
  3. So I tried ranking up New Loka from -2 to -1 after the veilbreaker update and it asked me to sacrifice credits and an orokin reactor. I’ve already ranked up all the syndicates and payed the prices for doing so, and all rank ups after that just required standing. I’m really hoping this is just a bug caused by the new pledge system that can be sorted out without having to spend resources on ranking them all up again.
  4. The time has never been better to revive pvp in this way. The mode is where there are a bunch of grineer ( or whatever enemy faction) players trying to kill 1 Tenno. There are a few rounds. The player to either kill or do substantial damage to the Tenno gets to be the Tenno in the next round. If the Tenno kills all the enemies, they get to stay Tenno in the following round. Only players who have gone multiple rounds without being Tenno in previous matches are elgible to be selected as Tenno in the first round. This way everyone gets their chance to play as Tenno AND as faction enemies. Through whatever rank/scaore system, winning as Tenno would garner PVE mods and cosmetics. Winning as faction enemies would give rewards not only faction enemy cosmetics (also for kahl), but also PVP conclave mods for the Tenno - through whatever balancing system DE elects to implement. The framework for playing as, and costomizing grineer and corpus exist in the game, so I think that it's a good time for this for of PVP.
  5. I'm a graphic designer. I mainly do line art and photoshop projects. I've done commissions before, including Warframe logos. If you're looking for a clan logo, hmu. My discord is Sc0rpi0nsPoison #3186. I provided an example of some vector-style emblems I've done for mutuals, but I've done more detailed work as well. Prices are negotiable.
  6. (XBOX) Veilbreaker: Hotfix #6 Break Narmer Changes & Fixes Made further improvements to the movement AI of the Scyto Raknoid Boss on Venus. Adjusted the visual FX on the Deacon mask beam. Fixed some issues of Solarans having odd movement on Venus, which included entering off-limits areas. Veilbreaker Quest Changes: Fixed a case of the sky flickering onboard the Murex during the Veilbreaker Quest. Fixed a visual issue of two individual Map tiles not connecting properly. Changes: Swapped the Tertiary and Accent material channels on Styanax, Styanax’s Helmets, and the Afentis to better match player expectations and be in-line with other Warframe’s material channels. You will notice the colors of your fashion have changed upon log-in. A quick swap of the colors between your Tertiary and Accent channels will restore your fashion to what it was before this Hotfix! Fixes: Fixed cases of overlapping text in the Syndicate ‘pledge’ screen. Fixed the Hespar neutral attack triggering many unintended Status effects. Fixed the Dojo Legend UI not disappearing when making the HUD disappear. Fixed Railjack side turrets camera rotation being off. Fixed Amar’s Howl not removing Waypoints for Client. Made a potential fix towards clients losing Ui after extracting the shard from an Archon.
  7. People have asked me to make a video of it, and I said I would upload one, I uploaded one already, but I wasn't happy with it, so I made a new one! I dont have much else to add, leave thoughts below!
  8. With new management in place, and new modern design conventions, Ember's rework NEEDS to be looked at again. She has horrific anti-synergy that completely brutalizes my ability to enjoy her and, I believe has no place in this game. Where else is a frame actively punished by their own kit for doing exactly what that frame should want to be doing? Ember should be REWARDED for having high heat, not PUNISHED. Why actively sabotage her kit like this? Forget rewarding her, just stop hurting her. No increasing energy cost on Immolation, just a normal channeled ability that requires heat build up before it's a halfway usable defense ability, and remove Fire Blast taking away your defense every time you use it. From there, any other changes are just side tangents, such as making Heat drain over time instead of build over time and you want to keep turning up the heat similar to Garuda wanting to maintain kills for her passive. She's already ridiculously energy hungry by default without this energy crippling garbage, Ember wants you to spam her 3 and her 4, so arguably her 2 shouldn't even drain energy and should instead just be something more like Gyre's 3, but instead of kills it's about Heat procs to maintain a Duration rather than maintaining a channel.
  9. 1. Make all non-aoe projectiles have infinite body punch through. 2. Change all punch through mods to include the ability for non-aoe projectiles to bounce between targets, plus the original punch through effect. Weapons with built in punch through have punch through stat doubled and new ricochet effect added with the same range (in meter) as new punch through value. Projectiles will only ricochet to targets in range of the initial directly damaged target, (range is determined by punch through range). Ricochets do not require line of sight. Projectile will bounce in a random direction if no target in range. Each time a projectile ricochets to a new target it deals less damage, (works like melee follow through). Ricochets can bounce until they fall below zero damage which then they will despawn. New mod stats: •Shred: +30% fire rate +2.4(meters) ricochet targeting +2.4 punch through •Primed Shred: +55% fire rate +4.4(meters) ricochet targeting +4.4 punch through •Metal Auger: +4.2(meters) ricochet targeting +4.2 punch through •Seeking Force: +4.2(meters) ricochet targeting +4.2 punch through •Seeking Fury: +30% reload speed +2.2(meters) ricochet targeting +2.2 punch through •Seeker: +4.2(meters) ricochet targeting +4.2 punch through •Rivers: +X(meters) ricochet targeting +X punch through •Thrown melee punch through mods are unaffected. •Capacity drain for punch through mods could be increased for balance. Rivens drain should not change. 3. Things that could be broken: •Mesa 4th ability •Zenith alt mode
  10. I’ve just logged in and gotten the 75% market discount, it seems that for some reason I can use it to buy any other warframe, except styanax. Not sure if this is a bug/oversight or working as intended. Does anyone know?
  11. By peoples reaction to this system, DE should just remove. Too many bemoaning the acquisition rate, yet its not needed to do anything better(by a large margin) than existing routes.
  12. What if the rotation in chippers shop includes a guaranteed taoforged shard every 4 weeks after it completes its blue-yellow-red rotation. Maybe even one of our choosing? I know everyone is upset about how long it will take to get there favorite frames all taoforged sharded up but I think this would be a good middle ground and for all we know could be the case! Guess we'll find out in a few weeks
  13. Sentient full heal / energy restore resets my shields removing any and all over shields. This isn’t so bad except that the frequency of sentients in archon hunts makes it more of a liability because survivability is important and dying is harshly punished.
  14. I think i speak for all who have played Gyre when i say she needs a rework, i see she has a problem with energy regen, survivability and crowd control and i think i have some solutions: 1. she needs energy regen similar to Harrow´s or much more energy efficiency since she casts habilities all the time, also faster animations would be the cherry on top 2.she needs some kind of survivability function on her habilities (health regen or overshields maybe) 3. her 1st hability would be much better if it was like Protea´s 1st in terms of crowd control and the amount of times you can cast it there are probably some other things im missing but at leats this is a start, and i dont think its an exaggerated buff, at least it sounds reasonable in my mind also, her powers currently work decently on regular star chart content but she is can only be farmed by people who already finished the star chart, so i think she should be the kind of warframe that you take to steel path peace.
  15. Been logging in each and every day since Styanax dropped, still not gotten the message or frame. I tried to post this bug before but it disappeared, not sure if it was removed or my browser messed up.
  16. I was playing a void storm mission Korm’s Belt and was playing with a random. After the on the first one their relic resulted in a Nidus Prime Chassis, which I selected. On the second run when we finished the mission the server wasn’t responding and, after a couple passes, started responding again. However, it gave me no time to look at what was dropped and gave me an Atlus Prime blueprint, which was not one of the options. This blueprint, which is what my relic dropped in the first one, replaced to Nidus Chassis and didn’t consume the relic I had selected in the second mission.
  17. I plan on migrating to Xbox (not just Warframe) when cross save releases. My dualsense has essentially an extra 5 inputs over the Xbox controller by way of the touchpad, up, down, left, right and press and by migrating i lose these inputs. I've looked at Xbox elite 2, Razer Wolverine, Scuf controller's but as far as i can tell they just remap existing inputs, you don't gain extra buttons. Warframe on Xbox has K&M settings but I want to use a controller, I've also looked at Reswad which allows you to map key bindings to a controller to use on PC. Is there a way of remapping an Xbox controller with extra paddles/buttons as keyboard bindings for use on an Series X? Cheers.
  18. This was used as a visual indicator of whether or not her most important buff was up. It's important for fashion, too. The community requested a toggle en masse, and DE responded by...ignoring that and just removing the feature altogether. I understand that you are understaffed - it makes sense, believe me - but I believe Tencent/DE has the resources to make this happen. Please implement this much-requested feature, and maybe even expand it to cover other Warframes. One suggestion along those lines is Rhino's iron skin effect. It would make a lot of players happy to see this improvement! Past discussion on this:
  19. I have my abilities on the dpad, if I put them on to the paddles would i be able to change what was on the dpad or would i just end up with abilities on the dpad and the paddles? Cheers..
  20. Just a heads-up for anyone with internet issues, don't do a mastery test while your lagging because apparently the game will think you failed it. This will be the second time the game has said I failed the test after completing the LR2 test ._. I wish there was something that could fix this but I know already why DE has it set this way to not let people abuse unplugging to retest. Just kinda sucks I have to wait yet another day just to do a test ive completed twice.
  21. Would it not be cool if we could master more then 1 frame at same time, as we progress as mastery levels let say MR10 = control 1 more Frame he joins you like oncall NPC they function pretty well, MR20 = gives you 2 more frames and MR30 = full squed 3 frames. So if you wanna run those boring missions like interception you wont need to solo, however if you run public they join you at the starts and go away as normal tenno joins the game. However something needs to be done so you cant AFK grind with those 3 tennos insted you got to keep moving or killing or something.
  22. First. A change I think would be really good for new players but wouldn't really effect more experienced players would be to retire energy siphon and rejuvenation and make all Warframes passively Regen health and energy. It's been a minute since I was a new player but it was really the only thing I didn't like about Warframe but that was when nekros was the new kid on the block and I had to wait til I got lucky enough to be online when the alert mission that awarded energy siphon popped up, now days we got all sorts of choices to manage energy but a brand new player may not give the game the time to find out about these options before they loose interest so being able to stay alive and cast abilities more often as a new player may help them stick around and fall in love with the game. Second. Primed/r10 aura mods I know, I remember when they tried doing r10 steel charge and quickly changed there minds and had to hand out some legendary cores to those who maxed them already. But that was a long time ago and the game has changed a lot! I don't necessarily want a linear buff to a mod, like growing power goes from +25% power strength for 6 seconds to + 46% ( or 50 if you just wanna round up I guess) power strength for 11 seconds for the primed version. I wouldn't be mad if they did that but I think I would prefer something like. + 30% power strength on status effect for 10 seconds but also have 1 or two additional effects like +15% ability efficiency for 5 seconds on critical hit or +30% duration after kill. Obviously I'm just throwing random stats and triggers out there but you get the general idea. And to keep it balanced maybe make it to where auras don't stack, encouraging people to bring different auras in a squad. Too my knowledge it's not like the old days when everyone ran cp so enemies didn't have armor. It doesn't seem to matter what you run anymore as growing power and breif respite seem like the only good ones to run, the benefit from the others seem too minor or easily replaced elsewhere in your build like loot radar being substituted by animal instinct. The biggest reason I could see de holding off on this and iirc it's why the changed there minds before about it is mod capacity, since auras double whatever the mod cost is and the minimum it would be is 11 so that would be 22 extra mod capacity you would have if it's in the correct polarity on a level 30 potatoed frame 82 mod capacity so the need for forma would go down and I doubt DE wants that understandably so there a business after all. So maybe these could have the umbral polarity? Requiring either a aura forma or umbra forma to get the full mod capacity out of it. Anyways sorry for the babbling explanation of an idea I had while at work wishing I was home playing games haha

  24. Survival missions have a pretty addictive history in Warframe. Allot of the more Veteran players can probably recall countless long survival runs that went on for hours. It's historically been the mode that build for and test themselves on. The chill hangout bros have loved to sit around in survival mission, just chillin'. I also recall survival being the most played mission type for years, but I could be mistaken. Survival missions are a gameplay sandbox where you can do things your way, which is appealing to good number of players as well. My suggestion would be to expand survival missions with more things that the player can choose to do. For example, there could be terminals that get marked on the map every five minutes and the player can choose to go do the miniature mobile defense if they want. Or a miniature interception. Really a mini version of almost eny objective type would fit nicely into the survival sandbox. Kuva survival proved that this can be done and be succeful, especially if there are additional rewards to be earned through the addional dynamics and activities added to the mission. This helps to discourage AFK gameplay as the player can potentially earn rewards much faster by doing to optional objectives constantly. Beyond purely mechanics, I would like to see more situations than just life support. Variety in this way would greatly help to make every mission feel unique. Maybe in the first five minutes, they release radiation or infestation spores that the life support prevents, the spores already being a thing. Maybe the enemy is planting void related things on the map and you have to activate those like life support in order to prevent reality from getting messed up in the place. And of course, regular life supprt gets its five minutes runs in here and there. ALSO, it would be cool if the lone operative was actually raiding the ship and not just mentioned lol. Overall, I think that survival has a ton of potential. I also want there to be railjack survival missions + necramech possabilities.
