KelsierSurvivor
Hello Tenno! I was just going through my FashionFrame and decided that I wanted to try and see if I could use just the classic color palette and armor/helmets that are either default, or bought from Baro. I was surprised at what I could do with such a small selection. I got to thinking... there's probably alot of newer Tenno out there that want to look cool, but don't have the plat for it or don't have the artistic capabilities/motivation to make their own. So, I've decided to come in and take requests of players who want FashionFrame for their favorite frame, but don't have the resources/time to do it themselves! It will be simple; From my Warframe selection, you tell me which Warframe you want fashioned, give some basic tastes if you want, tell me what you have to work with (Whether you have the full classic pallette, what armor and sigils you have, helmets, etc.), then I will have new fashion ready for you to copy (Will include in screenshots) and use in-game, free of charge! I have also included fashion tips in the spoiler under each frame I own so you can make your own color schemes! Warframes I own and can fashion; Spoiler Ash (Vanilla, Prime) Spoiler Ash, usually known as an edgy frame. Since he has a few colors that cover most of his body, using a faded color (Not the super vibrant shades) will usually work well here. Using brighter colors for accents and energy will work great with him. With a faded base, these colors will pop out more and show a little more flavor. The energy is fun to play with on him. I've found that really any color works for any of his abilities, both Prime and Vanilla. Chroma Spoiler Most well known in the world of fashion for his dragon aesthetic, Chroma can be tricky to fashion. He has large areas of blank space, mainly on the shoulders and back. If you have armor and sigils, use them. They will work wonders for him. Especially metallic armor such as the Ki'Teer Foros set. Like Ash, since Chroma has large sections of single color, using a faded color will help him out alot. While some people enjoy exotic metallics in interesting colors such as blue or red, I personally try to keep it simple. Using realistic metallics such as gold, silver, bronze, copper, etc. will look great in his tertiary category. Chroma can be difficult to fashion since his fashion directly impacts his gameplay. He's the only case in game (Without the use of an augment mod) where fashion actually changes the way a frame works. I personally think he's most useful in his ice and fire modes, so reds, oranges, whites, or blacks will work for him in the field of gameplay and fashion alike. Excalibur (Vanilla, Umbra) Spoiler One of the most popular frames (And for good reason), Excalibur is by far the most overpowered starter there is. If you are new, odds are you have this frame. Since Excalibur, like many of the other frames on this list, has large sections of single color, his Primary color will be important. Like my other suggestions for this scenario, using a faded color will work if you don't like blacks or whites, but I've found that on Excalibur specifically, given his theme and shape, white or black as a base color will work great. Usually for me personally, using the same/a similar color for his energy and accents will make him look great. You usually don't want to have a bright color for his shoulder section, so something darker here will work well. However, if you choose to go with a white base color, something bright can look good here as well. Now, Excalibur Umbra is a tricky case. By the time you acquire him, odds are you will have acquired some new aesthetic options as well. (New colors, syandanas, armor, etc.) His scarf is NOT a separately colored item from his body. I, along with many others, wish this was the case, but we have to work with it. I've found that you don't have to do black, however much it looks great and edgy. I recently made a fashion that used an extremely dark red for this color, and it ended up being my favorite FashionFrame of all time. Don't be afraid to try other skins on Umbra. They literally all look good on him. Playing around with skins and colors can work wonders for you. Frost Spoiler Frost is a fun Warframe to FashionFrame. Again, different armor pieces can look great on him. I'm personally a fan of armor that has metallics, unless you have the Squall helmet, in which case armor with energy will look stunning on him. Following the ice theme, I usually use a white or grey color for his Primary. I even did this with my fire themed Frost. (It's fire themed because it's ironic) Usually, if you use white or grey, subtle colors will look good for his other parts. A bright energy color will look amazing on him, no matter what color you choose. It's just the way the color interacts with the abilities. If you don't want to use white or grey, I've found that it's hard to go wrong on the Primary color for Frost, unless you choose colors that clash for his other parts. For instance, a bright green will not look good with a bright green of a different shade. Gara Harrow Hydroid (Vanilla, Prime) Inaros Ivara Limbo Mag (Vanilla, Prime) Mirage (Vanilla, Prime) Nekros (Vanilla, Prime) Nezha Nidus Nova (Vanilla, Prime) Nyx Octavia Saryn (Vanilla, Prime) Trinity (Vanilla, Prime) Valkyr (Vanilla, Prime) Volt (Vanilla, Prime) Zephyr (Vanilla, Prime) (I include a list because I do not yet own every Warframe) Note: It may be hours, days, or in the rare case that I go on vacation or am busy, weeks, before I respond. It's the sad truth. Edited August 24, 2018 by KelsierSurvivor Will continue to add more tips later.

Ok, here's the results. I made it with the Classic pallette only, mainly because I'd started and it turned out good before you responded with your color pallettes. Lol. (Results in Spoiler) Spoiler Primary color: Secondary color: Tertiary color: Accents color: Energy color: I used alot of the same colors/similar colors because of the way Ivara's color system works. She works best with subtle colors, which is why your theme worked so well.

I used Orokin and Classic for this. I've found that Ivara is very difficult to FashionFrame, but I think this kinda works. Usually white and orange can give off a techy/futuritstic sort of look, which is something that Ivara, with her many glowing parts, can pull off very well in my opinion. Spoiler Primary color: Secondary color: Tertiary color: Accents color: Energy color: Hope you like it! If you have a sigil, putting one in on the front, downing the "alpha" a little, and putting it in her abdominal area, can help with the lack of color.

axewyrm
Could you do a Frost fashion? I am trying to find something new, that is not too edgy with blacks and reds, nor something with a cross between dark blue and orange energy. I have many palettes, such as classic saturated, storm, smoke, baro colours, twilight, easter, eminence (I think thats what its called), valentines and ice. Looking for inspiration here, so anything you can do is worthy of my thanks.

You said you didn't want "edgy" with black and red, so I hope that this works. It's a bit more of a winter theme, but not exactly an ice theme. Hope you like it! I googled it and just got a bunch of baby pictures as a result... XD Anyways, i hope this fits what you mean. Spoiler Primary color: Secondary color: Tertiary color: Accents color: Energy color: I used the Ki'Teer Foros armor set. I wasn't sure exactly what you meant in your post, but I could sum it up to the holiday color packs and the Ki'teer cosmetics. I think it looks just as good without the armor, but Nezha does't have a ton of detail on the arms and legs, so I decided that some armor could help. All i got for him is pure black or black with red and he looks like a dirty bloody rag rather than Ruler! Well, I googled "Underworld Ruler" and all I got as a result was a character from a card game... that was female... I am willing to guess that's not what you meant, but correct me if I'm wrong. So, from inference, I can guess that you meant a Nekros that looks like the ruler of the underworld. In my mind, that would be semi-edgy, but also regal at the same time. Spoiler Primary color: Secondary color: Tertiary color: Accents color: Energy color: It's a little dark for my taste, but I figured that this was the closest thing I could get without using any extra pallettes that you may or may not have. If you have the smoke palette, I would switch the secondary with a dark grey. Not black, but something close so that it looks like a shadow rather than an umbra. (NOT meaning the Warframe. I mean the scientific term.) If you're not satisfied, feel free to tell me if you need something changed or if you want a different theme. I personally have my Nekros standard colors set to a brighter theme.

(Probably later today) It sounds like a fun project! Anything specific you need me to do/not do? I have a pretty large arsenal of color palettes and a decent amount of armors. I might need to grind out the plat for that new Vatala Armor Set though... It's either that or the Pakal Armor Set to make a Sentient Mag. 5 hours ago, (PS4)ChiefDevilEggs said: In your opinion, what’s a really good look for Loki? I always wanna make him look a bit more “assassin-ish” but the resulting look always comes across as more “Jester-ish”. Any thoughts on this? Hmm... Well, I guess it depends on your opinion of assassin. Like, are we talking Assassin's Creed (Which I have not played, by the way. I just know what it looks like) or more like something from Marvel? Black Widow or Hawkeye for instance? (It's Loki. I can't help but think of Marvel.) If we are talking Assassin's Creed, then I think that using some faded whites for the majority of his colors would work, then maybe a dark brown for accents and some black for fine details just to complete the look. Using a Syandana like the Abrysys (Hoping I spelled that right without a reference) or maybe even the Izvara would look good for this look. Just make it a faded white/grey (Probably not the exact same shade as the white/grey on the Warframe itself) with light gold details could finish the look. Using a dagger/dual daggers weapons would be great for the assassin type gameplay as well. I personally enjoy the Fang Prime (They're pretty underrated) for this type of aesthetic. Color the dagger(s) similarly to the main Warframe, but I wouldn't recommend using gold for the blade(s) if you're doing the Assassin's Creed look. Silver blades always seem more assassin-like in almost every aesthetic. Now, if you're looking for a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent approach, then I think that doing a deep black (Probably not pure black, but within 3-4 colors of it) would be good for base, then a really, REALLY dark blue for the secondary color (Like the darkest blue from the classic or storm palettes), then a silver color for any metallics you have and a REALLY dark grey for accents. Using a pistol/dual pistols (Lex Prime for instance) can fit the Black Widow style, or a bow (Probably the Daikyu if you are looking for a similar model to that of Hawkeye's) for Hawkeye, and then any dagger for Hawkeye or the Obex for Black Widow. (Obex is the only fist and foot weapon I can think of off the top of my head. It helps that it looks S.H.I.E.L.D.-ish.) Well, that's all I got for the Loki assassin aesthetic. I had Loki once, but he was gonna be unvaulted soon, so I sold him thinking I'd get my hands on the Prime soon enough... but then real life happened and I missed the majority of the unvaulting. Lo' and behold, I am now Loki-less. However, as soon as I saw the Loki Prime model, I instantly knew I was going to do a Loki MCU cosplay. (Marvel Cinematic Universe) I would recommend doing that if you can't get the assassin idea to work out.
Riddle78
Y'know,I was about to make a thread asking for help... Then you popped along with this thread. Alright,my request is as such. Dread Pirate Lord Hydroid -Warframe: Vanilla Hydrod, default skin. -Helmet: Triton. -Syandana: I own the Repala,Asa,Harkonar,Imperator,Yomo,Rakta, and Uru syandanas. I have a preference for the Repala (Spaulder tips should be golden, electrum,or burnished brazen brass in appearance,if chosen),but if you feel any of my other syandanas are better suited to the Dread Pirate Lord, then power to you. -Armour: Your choice, feel free to mix and match. I own the Nidina,Daedalus,Edo,Eos,and Harkonar armour sets. -Colours: I own... Pretty much all of the colour palettes, besides the Valentine's palette, and the Baro palettes. The full list is as such; Classic,Classic Saturated,Corpus,Dabreak,Dojo,Easter,Eximus,Fire,Gamma,Grineer,Ice,Infested,Lotus,Orokin,Red White & Blue (Where's my Canada Day colour palette!?),Shamrock,Smoke,Storm,Tenno, and finally,Twilight. I would like it if you avoided a primarily black-and-red colour scheme; I hate that colour combination. I do eventually plan on equipping him with the Zarr,Twin Rogga, and Nami Solo for maximum pirate festoonery. Oh,and love it if you included which swatches from which palettes you included, using a coordinate system. 0,0 would be the top-left corner, with the numbers increasing as you go down and right. So,for example,a colour coordinate would be Lotus 3,4. Edited August 27, 2018 by Riddle78 Important addition.

So,for example,a colour coordinate would be Lotus 3,4. Ok, sorry for the huge delay. I spent alot of time on this and I'm still not entirely sure that I like it, but I think it's presentable for the theme at least. Quick apologies, I only have the Prisma versions of the Edo, Eos, and Deadalus armor sets. It should look just as good in other colors, but I'd recommend a dark white/light grey for the metallics on the armor. Also, I don't have the Repala syandana, so I equipped the Abrysys Syandana and messed around with the colors until they would fit on the Repala. Also, please forgive the cyst. I used my standard Hydroid and I keep the cysts on my standard frames because I want to make the Primes feel more special. (and I think the cysts will likely be used in the Helminth "Lab" that DE teased a few years ago.) Also, I don't own the Triton helmet, but I tried it on to see if it would look good in these colors and line up with my idea. Anyways, without further delay, here are my results. Syandana colors: Primary: Classic Saturated, (1, 5) Secondary: Classic Saturated, (2, 15) Tertiary: Smoke Colors, (3, 8 ) Accents: Twilight, (1, 5) Energy: Classic Saturated, (5, 6) Repala Syandana equipped; This was a difficult project as I've never been super into pirate aesthetic, but I think I pulled it off decently. I didn't end up uploading a picture with the helmet equipped since I forgot, so apologies in that regard. I hope you like it! As I said, I'm not sure if I do. Lol (Tried to avoid black and red, so I used a dark blue as a substitute for black, thinking it kinda also gave off the idea of the ocean. If you would rather use a different color, I would recommend dark grey.)
