2 Xboxs on the same internet can't connect to each other? WTF?

So I'm getting really sick and tired of me any my fiance not being able to join each other in this game. We have separate consoles and separate accounts but constantly run into connection problems. I have already port forwarded both consoles and they have their own separate ports and we NEVER have problems in any other game connecting to one another. It's only this game. The only thing that works is when 1 of us hard resets our consoles and then we can connect. We have great fiber optic cable internet and never have problems. I'm not going to reset my console every 2 hours because this game can't get their stuff in order. DE please fix this. It's a daily occurrence.

My roommate and I use to have this issue till we got sick of it and bought a new router. 

Have you tried updating your router firmware?

Hello,

I have the same problem with Warframe, it works for another game! I am using a PFsense router. All the Xbox test was successful (Internet, NAT, bandwitch); but in Warframe, I can not invint or join my friend on the same network.

Which router (model) do you have?

What is the role of Upnp in configuring your router?

 

So, I stop play Warframe to play at Destiny 2... Because it's works.

Give your Xbox different names and ports ( Google search this as there are multiple guides already).  Then static IP addresses.  One wired and one wireless can help on certain routers also.
