need help for rhino prime iron skin

hi i built rhino prime today and .... the iron skin effect is terrible .... why does it cover the whole armor ???? is there a way i can change it ? i don't even want to play rhino prime if it's to be covered in shiny gold paint 90% of the time ! i can't even change the color ? am i missing something ?

Try changing energy color. I have the Rubedo Skin and don't see any annoying IS effects

pretty sure iron skin colour is tied to energy colour

Iron Skin for Rhino Prime matches your Accents color. Try changing that to something less tacky. (EDIT: Definitely Accents, not Energy as others have said.)

Alternately, you can get the Palatine deluxe skin for Rhino, which changes Iron Skin to a more subtle energy overlay matching your Energy color.

I feel I remember correctly, changing the color of the “accent” will change the skin color. I like having a strong color as it is a clear indication that your skin is down.

Rhino Prime is the pure example of, you can’t make everyone happy. If all else fails, get the deluxe skin. That makes the iron skin virtually invisible.
