There are a bunch of different Nova builds you can use, i'll give you an outline:

  • Slow Nova (general): you simply get 145% or more strenght and maximum duration. Useful for CC for high end sorties and other non-killing focused missions.
  • Slow Nova (specialised): some missions like Defence or Survival do very well with a Slow Nova but you need to tweak the parameters. Maximum duration in this case is an hindrance, you need to have a shorter duration so that you have the cluster of enemies close to you slowed and the ones farther away untouched. Otherwise you slow down the spawns too much and risk either running out of life support or slowing the mission down to an unbearable crawl.
  • Speed Nova: you need minimum strenght (which means Overextended and no strenght mods). Useful for farming and speeding up easier missions. Duration is still a stat you want to maximise.
  • Neutral Nova: again you go for maximum duration, but you want to have precisely 70% strenght in the arsenal. That way you get the double damage and explosion chains of Molecular Prime without changing the enemies' movement speed. Useful for stuff like Defence and Survival. You can also tweak it so it speeds up or slows down enemies moderately. My preferred way is to use Overextended and Intensify, amd then work on the ranks to get what you want (IE a r4 Overextended makes you slow everybody by 15%). You can mix and match the augments if you want, tweaking your range and duration stats depending on augment and on the mission you want to do.
  • Rushing Nova: efficiency, cast speed and power range are a focus. You can also use her Wormhole augment. Very good for Plains or for speedrunning content. It's also very good for Corpus spy missions.
  • Bomb Nova: this is a specialised build that focuses on AoE DPS. You want maxed efficiency, 145+% strenght and decent range (ideally 160+%). You also want to use Antimatter Absorb. Duration is as you want, but i find it just right between 90% and 120% depending on mission type. Excellent killspeed and good control. The Antimatter Absrob allows your Antimatter Drops to also act as a mobile shield.
  • Tank Nova: you want maximum duration, minimum range, the Neutron Star augment and 1/2 sets of Arcane Guardian. Keep your Null Star up at maximum charges by recasting it. If you can try to also get 145+% strenght for max slow. This one is a great damage absorber, gets very tanky if fully decked out.

In general as defensive mods i rate Quick Thinking as the best one, since her Null Star blocks staggers. Second being Vitality since her Null Star only gives you damage reduction on health. The perks of Vitality being that you can couple Umbral Vitality and Umbral Intensify to get bonus health and 155% strenght without duration loss.

There ya have it.

As far as weapons go, i like the Euphona Prime simply because Nova's slow works very well with the gun to avoid getting overwhelmed and the secondary fire option charges Antimatter Drops to full in one blast, letting you pick whatever you want for a primary weapon instead of being locked to the Tigris series 😄

I know that there are slow and speed nova build but can there be a mid build?

Sure, just slap on a Rank 2 Overextended (and no further Strength Mods) and you'll have a Neutral Nova.

I need help with nova prime build and maybe load out to for her ability.

FWIW, my general use build:

Corrosive Projection, Enemy Sense
Intensify, Power Drift
Streamline, Primed Flow
Primed Continuity, Narrow Minded
Constitution, Vitality

Massive Duration to cover e.g. the entire Xini / Void Interception map with one cast of M Prime.
145% Strength for maximum slow.
Zenurik and / or Energize should keep you fueled up nicely on Energy.
Negative Range is actually a boon for Null Star (dat 5% damage reduction on Health per particle)
as it'll help keep those particles on you rather than seek out enemies for little effect.

You could also go for Umbral Intensify & Vitality, opening a slot for e.g. Augur Message (more Duration woo).

Non-Crit Shotguns are a good fit on Nova, to quickly charge Antimatter Drop.
Corinth (using a pure Gas Status build focused on the Secondary Fire) is always lotsa fun.
Sobek is another nifty one, pure damage + Acid Shells for even more on-death kersplosions.

For my Secondary, I quite like Staticor. In combination with Enemy Radar Mods,
you can leasurely charge up your shots out of line of sight of (lol slowed) enemies
and then hit them through walls (no AMD needed) without ever putting yourself in harm's way 😄

for general play, super high Duration is uh, just a must. and preferably low Range.
then +45% Strength or -60% Strength for slow/fast, or -30% for neutral as aforementioned.

or, if you're looking to do speedrunning, then you want high Range.

Prime, Wormhole, and Antimatter Drop are widely known for what they do, but i'll mention what Null Star is for to be clear as to why i say what i say. Null Star provides Damage Reduction on your Health, which is why low Range is nice to preserve the Charges.

having something in your Equipment to Heal you is probably a good idea with Nova.

I am pretty sure this is already answered elsewhere in detail.

You want maximum duration,

minimum range and

145 strength

for general corridor /defense slova use.

Efficiency is personal choice and depends on your playstyle.

This will give you high damage reduction and maximum cc potential.

For neutral you would need roughly 70% strength. But I fail to see why you need it.

For speedva you want 40% strength.

It is usually not possible to get a tank build for speedva builds as your stars will be flying off everywhere.

Speedva usually also doubles as a range build for PoE farming.

You want multiple copies of narrow minded and overextended mods at various ranks to get you preferred build.
