What is best status for Chromatic Blade against all types of enemies

When I first made a chromatic blade build it was a gas status. When I use it against corrupted heavy gunner and bombard and it didn't work well without radial howl or radial blind. I need a build for corrupted enemies because I mostly fight them. I'm deciding out of viral and radiation.

Well for my build I did it with high slash and viral (cause it half there health)

Rad+Viral, Corro+Ice/Fire (or Blast, i guess), or Gas are your main choices for Chromatic Blade.

Corrosive Blast is best.

Chromatic blade is so strong that anything will work. I use viral on grineer, toxin on corpus and corrosive on infested. Gas might be a do-it-all haven't tried it yet though.

I like heat + corrosive, watch enemies flail around as they die.

Try corrosive+cold. Corrosive is always a must in the void with high enemy armor scaling.

Cold is one of the worst elements to use since it prevents new status procs from applying and stops slash procs. Yes chromatic blade dosent deal IPS damage, but what if you spread slash procs with a weapon/a team mate does, you just shortchanged yourself.

I'd say corrosive and avoid combo counter since that only builds with relentless combination and point blank melees. Yes the wave from exhalted blade does not increase combo counter

The build is simple, Corrosive, Blast, CO, Berserker, Primed Pressure, as for the last one, whatever floats your boat. I go with Life Strike, since along with Hunter Adrenaline and Quick thinking it keeps me immortal, allowing me to use Arcane Fury and Arcane Strike. Don't forget that ability strength increases both damage and status chance, 180% is needed for 100% status without a single status mod.
