Chroma Prime bug during eidolon hunt

Had an eidolon hunt and after the Hydrolyst was killed i changed into operator form, to call in the archwing and collect the drops, the game however decided to bug and i was stuck in a weird thing between operator and frame. I was able to walk around in the slow fashion unique to the operator, yet i was unable to open the menu, the chat, the gear wheel or open the chat. I was also invisible and not just cloaked like the operator during crouching but actually not visible on the screen. 

I managed to escape the weird inbetween state and went back to the extract there i bugged again and was teleported back to the drops and was trapped in operator again.

 

Is this a Bug or was this due to high ping/ lag/ etc.?
