Any weapon modding tutorials out there?

If I'm looking for a weapon build, I search LeyzarGamingViews videos first to see if he's done a video. He goes in depth with recommended builds, but also talks in a way anyone can understand. In this specific video, the first build he shows is a corrosive/blast build. Even if you don't have the prime version of Tigris, the mod order of elements will still apply.

Seeing your build would help. Do you use a Riven? Because it is otherwise pretty easy.

You have 8 slots. 4 in the top row and 4 in the bottom row.

Warframe "counts" from left to right and top to bottom, like a book. So if you want corrosive/blast (which I advise against, better use Rad/Viral because of half Health, Slash and a dummy) you just add Shock+Toxin and Heat+Cold in line. 

Do you use Blaze? That may screw you over...and if so: ditch it. The Tigris doesn't have room for this mod

I do have other builds...but I actually never use them. This is the one I'm rolling with no matter which mission

Like I said: High Slash (as IPS also counts x 4) has a 6 times higher chance to proc than viral and radiation. Rad makes the enemy your dummy other enemies will shoot at. Viral halfes their HP (and so their massive eHP in long runs) and massive slash proc tick the enemy dead even after only 1 shot (most of the time)

Yeah I have a riven but haven't rolled it yet, also I'm on console so idk if it's possible to share screenshots here, but I'll try to copy your pic and see if I can get the hang of it

Just naming the mods would suffice...and Riven are somewhat useless on a Tigris if you cannot switch out a mod with the exact or less stats (eg a Riven with 61% Status + 61% Element + sth would be better but I don't think the weak dispo allows for such Stats).

Tigris is one of the few weapons which actually don't profit off a Riven. Just tested it with a Melee weapon (since I don't have many other Riven to test with) and they did work the same way. Does your Riven have double Status like Heat+Shock? That would be insta Rad

Well after failing to make two elemental combos I went for blast just for kicks and my build is

Hell's chamber, Vicious spread, Frigid blast, Chilling reload, Vigilante armaments, Primed point blank, Blaze and Scattering inferno. And the riven is +max ammo +SC and +MS, no negative.

Got 43k blast and 14k slash but it's meh overall.

Yeah. The Tigris Prime sadly only has one viable setup. I watched the video @Brandt1 was posting and was mildly amused that Leyzar was using the same build.

That's the reason for the build. Try this and you will be satisfied

Using Warframe Builder you only have 66% Status without Riven...and I doubt your Riven has 115% Status Chance which would be the necessary value to get to 100% what your Tigris needs regardless

Multishot increases your status chance in the stat screen but this is only an approximation of the occurrence of 1 status effect. You need 100% SC before MS so every single pellet you will shoot will have 100% SC and proc an effect.

Bold ones give you SC. The green mod gives more reload than Seeking Fury but lack the important Punch Through and the red one is like I stated in my first post the reason for your elemental problem.

 

You are focusing too much on high damage numbers. But the Tigris is a pure status weapon!

This is the loading sequence, the mods registers sequentially, so messing up the slot position while modding can result in different secondary elementals.

Yeah I suppose I got carried away with the numbers there because something like Blaze with that extra damage seems pretty mandatory at first glance. I wanted to try making it a crit weapon using blunderbus and that acolyte mod Laser sight I think but idk how well that'll scale without any corrosive and such, I'll try your build though.

It does clear things up a bit yeah, I think my error was using elemental mods on slots 1 and 5 or 3 and 7, then use mods like point blank in between them to "seperate" the four elements and make them form what I wanted lol.

I bet it only was Blaze. You can see

that I use the status mods in slot 1, 2, 3 and 5. It is just the position which you can see in Ada's picture

Don't use Blaze. Your build doesn't have 100% status which is mandatory for the Tigris. Also Accelerated Blast is useless because the Tigris doesn't have much Puncture and also has 0 Fire Rate. Dunno why it says 2.00 in the Stat screen but it has Trigger Fire

That isn't my tigris build, I cook up a random example which uses all 4 elemental mods.

I might need to do more Lua spy to get this since it is current not in my collections.
