Birdframe_Prime Posted October 9, 2018 Share Posted October 9, 2018 This is supposedly being addressed in the Mainline update this week (or early next week, depending on their timing). The issue is that Effects produced by Abilities are not subject to the compensation of the Bloom calculations. So the brighter the effect gets, the darker the backgrounds get, but the adjustment just makes the effects seem brighter. DESteve's team finally found the fix for this and has tweeted out that the fix should be included in the Mainline. This should also alter the overwhelming brightness of things like Eidolon fights, Revenant's mist effects, Zephyr's Turbulence and so on. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chaos.Blades Posted October 9, 2018 Author Share Posted October 9, 2018 (edited) I don't think that will effect Octavia because it is supposed to be white to tell you that you are following the rhythm to get buffs. Chaos.Blades Posted October 12, 2018 Author Share Posted October 12, 2018 Just tested with the new patch and the white patch that appears is no longer as bright, now has more transparency, and isn't as large as it was before.
