ScuzeMeSir
Anyone remember the game "Firefall"? It had these things called thumpers and they were used to harvest resources out of the ground. While the thumper would be mining the ground it would generate a lot of noise which attracted bug creatures that would try to attack the thumper and the players defending it. My suggestion is do you guys think it would be cool to adopt something like that in Warframe? Maybe use them in the open world maps.
SpicyDinosaur
Kind of like...an excavation? We already have that exact thing, pretty much.

Plus, ghoul excavation is almost exactly what he's talking about.

I guess I was just hung up on the idea when I was in Plains of Eidolon that I forgot they already have missions like that. I still think it would be cool to maybe have our own excavators that we can deploy to harvest resources instead of missions. Maybe build like 10 at a time in the foundry. Yrkul
Oh, I remember Firefall. I remember the chaos of the King Brontobacon fights. And every time I see those videos, I remember how utterly fantastic the music was. Gods, I miss that game!
