Changing Username

Been thinking about changing my username however I don't know if this'll affect sites such as Warframe Market or whether it just takes the platinum right away or only after you've decided on a name.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

You type the new name, you click change name, the plat disappears and you have a new name, works the same way with clans its pretty much instant, you need to log out and back in and then you just reverify you account with warframe market from settings menu in that website.
