In fact, it looks like it could be some kind of unique infested unit itself. Well the concept is for a unique boss, so it sort of is. The infested need more units tho for sure! Yeah some kind of Infested boss on the opposite end of Lephantis and Phorid in a sense, since both of these two are large, monstrous and powerful creatures, while your concept fits more in the role of a smaller yet powerful foe to deal with.
