Gweredith Posted October 13, 2018 Share Posted October 13, 2018 The sound effect you get when someone joins a squad is too distracting for the purpose it serves. Personally, I find it excessive as I've never had the need for a sound notification when someone joined my squad since there is already a visual notification and you can always simply check your squad size in the top left part of your screen. However, the sound notification is too distracting for the menial purpose it serves. A lot of times I've mistaken it with the sound you get when someone invites you to their squad, which shouldn't be the case the former serves a much smaller purpose than the latter and their attention drawing levels should differ . I'd like to be able to toggle it off and/or have it replaced with a different sound. Unfortunately switching to classic/legacy sounds doesn't change/remove it.
