Sentients aren't spawning? [SPOILERS]

If you are reading this, and you haven't completed the Chimera Prologue quest, DON'T READ ANY FURTHER!!!

Now, after you finish the quest, you get the Paracesis blueprint, and I wanted to test how much extra dmg it does against sentients, if any at all. So, I went to Plato, Lua, and did 5 or 6 times, and each time, an Oculyst spawned somewhere, but I couldn't find it for the life of me. Are they not spawning? Or am I just missing them somehow?

I don't know what's up with the spawns, but each forma adds 13,5% more damage vs sentients to the weapon, with a cap at 60% more damage vs sentients.

Also; After the fifth Polarization, all attacks except the slam attack will remove Sentient damage resistances
