Scanner in wheel item and aiming

Hi report about scanner (simaris or not) item.

 

When you use the wheel of item for scroll during aiming with M2, Warframe desequip the weapon but the scanner is not activate.

In short your unarmed without your scanner equipped.

So you're saying that when you equip the (synthesis) scanner you can't scan ?

Or that when you unequip the (synthesis) scanner you're still unarmed ?

Sorry if i'm missing the point i've been up for quite some time.
