Which Arcanes are Bad? How Do We Fix Them?

I got Arcane Victory recently & was testing it in the Simulacrum. I assumed that, due to its low buff, that it could stack, which would balance Victory against Grace, & make it good for full-auto or high fire-rate guns, with an easier time with high capacity mags. The downside being having to maintain offensive momentum & staying in danger, being an active buff vs the Grace passive, & would be ineffective for snipers & similar marksman style, low fire-rate guns.

Arcane Grace has a 6% chance, 6% regen, for 4s, which means it restores 24% of the player's health for each trigger. Arcane Victory has 8% chance, 2% regen, for 8s, coming to only 16% health restored. As stated before, Victory is an active buff, while Grace is passive. The small increase in chance doesn't account for the fact that Victory requires the player to work for the buff, while Grace doesn't. When calculating the occurrence rate, Victory still comes back worse. Should players work for something that Grace can passively do better?

I know Simulacrum has some glitches, but Victory doesn't stack, which was the only way it could match up against Grace, besides getting a flat buff (which might make Victory useful for sniper & marksman type weapons). Even Guardian & Ultimatum can match Grace in usefulness.

This issue with the Arcanes got me thinking about the other Enhancements that fail to deliver.

Magus Cloud. If a player wants to be immune to falls, they can just save some energy to go Void mode just before touching down. Offering a buff that players already have just makes this look like a place holder, or worse, a waste of time.

Virtuos Tempo. This buff comes often after the amp energy pool has been depleted. Players can't benefit from increased fire-rate without ammo. This is useless beyond ~lvl50-60, at least when it comes to armor.

Virtuos Null. This would actually be good, if the regen rate were higher. If it were higher, then players could start firing again sooner, making it a better contender.

Virtuos Shadow. If the bonus crit chance were additive, instead of multiplicative, it would be fair against Strike.

Virtuos Ghost. Same as Shadow, though this depends on how useful the magnetic bubble is considered.

*Note: Amps as weapons are not all that useful compared to normal weapons for anything other than Eidolons. If the chosen Amp can't kill anything, Tempo, Null, Shadow, even Fury & Strike, all become useless. If the Amp can't kill, Ghost is by far the most useful.

Exodia Force. This simply doesn't damage enough. This one needs serious help.

Exodia Contagion. Same as Force, except it actually works with a Balla dagger using Covert Lethality due to an obscure glitch.

Exodia Brave, Valor, & Triumph. These are all in a strange situation. They're not very useful currently, but they could become useful with Melee 3.0.

Comparing a rare drop from Hydrolyst and an uncommon drop from Teralyst is like saying Augur Message should be buffed because Primed Continuity has double duration

I don't like the notion of Primed mods, but at least Primed mods are technically the same as the base mod, & actually prevent stacking them with those same base mods. Victory isn't entirely the same as Grace. Furthermore, Guardian & Ultimatum are so strong that they qualify as replacements for Grace. A player can safely switch those around & do fine with some other health regen method. But they're not as rare as Grace, now are they? Should they be nerfed then? No. That was your logic, except inverse. Should Grace be buffed? Still no. It fares well in the second slot alongside other Arcanes. It is a passive buff after all.

Oh, & Augur Message is a set mod. If anything, it's the set bonus that needs buffing. Bad comparison.
