Clan emblem requests (FREE)

Hello!

I am a second year student of graphic design and today I decided to help the warframe players with clan emblems. Feel free to write your request here below or write me a personal message in game.

I will create emblems that are quick/not super time consuming. However , I will accept doing the complex one if you are willing to pay me in platinum. 

If its a simple clan emblem ( without too much detail ) it will obviously be done quicker, If the more complex one - it will take more days to create.

Here is an example of request form :

1. Clan name
2. prefferences ( color , shapes , lines etc. )
3. Extra ( can be your story about your clan , your vision , why this and that and so on )

Not all of them. I am usually one of the first who takes free stuff but even though my clan urges me to finally get a clan emblem I don't want to lol

haha , I know it better than you think. As far as my studies allow , I'm ready for a challenge!

I don't know if it's a quick work for you, but it would be interesting to see how you draw an emblem for my clan.

The clan name is A Piece of Cake. The emblem should depict a slice of cake with 5 layers, whipped cream and topping (since our clan ranks are 5 layers, Whipped cream and Cake topping), and it also should be space-ish.

Below you can see our current emblem, which I made in MS Paint using shots from Hubble.

Agree , problem is - I haven't created any emblems for a year or so. No good examples on my laptop. I'm planning to put upcoming emblems here 🙂

There you go , few examples of how I would do it. My comments of each emblem:

1. I used cake form looking like a Saturn cut in quarter. It was a more playful icon in my eyes.

2. Pretty self-explanatory cosmos , stars. 

3. Similar , cosmos color palette. Whipped cream floats ( 404 gravity not found )

4. Same as 1 , just without whipped cream. Decided to put that example too.

5. Cosmos color pallette. Simplified 2D shape.

6. Same as 3 example just with three floating whipped cream with aureolas

Didn't put text , thought it wasn't necessary on these ones. What do you think? I'm open to criticism :)

Hello generous space graphic designer!

I could use your services for a simple emblem, or at least what I think should be pretty simple...

My clan is called Kindred Tennos and I'd like to give it an emblem that shows two human/tenno like (simplified) shapes; High 5'ing, shaking hands or something like that; 2 or 3 tones (we all like mostly red-black-white frames) but any color you have fun with will be nice :)

I'm no expert but I also think the shapes should be put into something like a square or circle or whatever, for legibility sake? 

If you think you can have fun doing it, your help would be much appreciated... I'd gladly tip plat too but I can only do so on ps4 xD

These are some pretty good cakes, I especially like the third one. Also I think the Saturn cake would look awesome in isometry, but it'd be harder to draw it like that. Anyways, thanks a lot!

I created my first samples. I want to know if that is the kinda emblem you wanted. Please tell me your opinion , whether you don't like something or dont like them at all. I'm willing to fix it.

So here are my comments:

Firstly , I used your clan's preffered color palette. I used white text because black one would be hard to read ( looking at player's profile background color is dark grey ) , red colored text would be hard to read , because it is a strong , aggressive color. 

Secondly , I tried using blue color because in my eyes this color is more fitting to your clan. (kindred) It shows off peace , trustworthiness , calmness , reliability. When red color is more aggressive one and looks not as welcoming as the blue one. White color is quite similar to blue one. It gives "calm" vibes , looks relaxing to the eye. 

P.S. If the clan emblem has white color , the original white color will be replaced with darker shade (grey , light grey) because in warframe , pure white color on clan emblem brings huge glow and most of the time you can't even see what is written/shown on the emblem haha.

Your opinion is very welcome.

Sending you samples of my created emblems.

Comments :

first one is two V letters placed to look like vampire fangs with blood dripping.

second one is like you suggested : V with batwings. Used white outline to make the emblem visible in all places ( dojo , profile etc. ) 

third one same V batwinged letter appearing to be like a flying bat at night with a shiny moon.

4th one = two V letters like fangs , bloody.

5th similar to 4th one , made just out of one letter.

6th Different version of 2,3 samples. Chose purple color to express mysteriousness , darkness , secrets.

Would love to hear your opinion and criticism!

Wonderful! Thanks for a fast reply too. I like them all, especially the first 3. But since I have to choose 1 to use, I like the 2nd one the most! I can picture it on our dojo banners already. ❤️

And I agree, White and blue might be better, the other scheme is a bit too harsh for my poor eyes...

I think the first one, without the clan name might be a safer bet... I have no idea how the text would look on the shoulder emblem but it might be really small once processed and I'd rather pay DE only once xD
