Umbra dammit don't do that....

When day i was testing umbra.

Sudendly simaris inform me that is their a target for me

Then i go to operator mod to go trap it and i select my scanner

In the next instant i see the target fly aways in a ragdoll physic

Then i heard simaris trash talk to me "No a dead speciman is usless for the sanctuary"

I rotate my screen at the right

And I see umbra recharging the tigris prime......

Some days afters

I see the same target.

I was with nezha

So i take my trap and beginning to scan it

In next moment i see the target fly aways in a buggy way and go into the wall

I see the target ouf of the map on the mini map

Then i heard simaris trash talk to me ""No a dead speciman is usless for the sanctuary"

 

Conclusion: I will never doing simaris target again

Why don't you scan them IN your warframe?

Bullet jump sends them to the ground. 2-3 jumps and you don't even need traps to get them.

I have killed many Simaris targets accidentally.  To be fair, when I join a mission that is already in progress, I do NOT get the Simaris message telling me about a target.  The group already received that message and I came in late.  So of course I am going to be shredding everything with my Exalted Blade without restraint.

Just wait until you start playing Saryn, she's a master at killing them long before you even know there is one.

You tend to run around doing the mission then all of a sudden Simaris starts nagging on you. Maybe it is time DE makes these targets immune to statuses or give them a 90% damage reduction or something.
