__Kanade__
I've played around with the graphics and such and nothing seems to make the game run smoother when I'm trying to do Phobos, even in Solo play when everything is so incredibly smooth ( elsewhere ) Phobos is still very choppy. Many times when I go through a door, it just opens up to nothing but blackness and going through it and the level just isn't being processed right, so all I see is the background and skybox. I may not have the strongest computer ( i3 Quad 2.5 Ghz 4GB RAM ) but it does give me a solid 45-60 fps anywhere and everywhere in the game except Phobos. I am able to play Planetside 2 on this computer and runs as smooth as it can, but here on Warframe on Phobos, it doesn't seem to want to process a very linear map, that just goes to show that something isn't working right with that tileset. I haven't really been able to enjoy the new tileset because of this problem, and I'm an explorer, but since it came out, I just had to rush through the first few levels cause I thought it would eventually run just fine like the ships and Corpus map tileset. So for now, I'm avoiding Phobos just in case it does something like freeze or crash the game. Edited September 4, 2013 by __Kanade__
Feyreheart
phobos is like that for most people. DE is well aware of it.

Tingnok
void needs some sort of optimization, very choppy and unplayable
LikeABawsh
I'm going to call BS on this. Planetside two would eat your computer ALIVE with those specs, much less let you play it smoothly. I'm running a semi-upgrade toaster (ATI radeon 4300, 3.24 GB ram, pentium dual core E5500 2.8ghz) and I can run Phobos just fine. Update drivers maybe? Idk. Azure_Kytia
Whilst you may be having just fine performance, the same can't be said for everyone. I'm noticing considerable FPS drops in the Phobos region myself, although nowhere near as bad as when in The Void.

I make Planetside 2 a priority running process and turn off unwanted processes that aren't needed or just taking up CPU space ( including chrome.exe and explorer.exe not iexplorer.exe, I don't have iexplorer.exe as a process anyway ) even though PS2 is GPU intense. I also turn off foliage in PS2's files which is the main source of the game's resource weight apart from shadows. Doing that and I can go from a solid 20 fps to 30 fps even in the denser areas with more than 100+ players and I fight almost exclusively at The Crown on the Connery server. If you want a game that would trash my computer, then I can go try BF3 or even BF4 and I'll let you know just how long my laptop lasted before getting fried. As for the Void, I don't have problems there, only on Phobos, guess it really is something on DE's part, not our computers though if your using a computer with 2GB RAM then it's mostly your computer.
