Stops Gaining Experience

At some point early in the mission, I stopped gaining experience. We went 60 minutes on Uranus and my secondary only gained 22k experience. The guy I was with maxed a bunch of experience because he was in my affinity range. I got 2200 kills up to level 125 Grineer. Not sure what's wrong with that.

... with your Secondary?

You killing something with abilities, Primary and / or Melee weapons will give you exactly 0 Affinity on your Secondary.

To rank up your Secondary, you need to either kill stuff with it or leech shared Affinity off of other players' kills.

@NinjaZeku well that's not true, you get experience for all of your weapons regardless what you use to kill. Any kill gives the exact same experience/affinity, assuming same enemy and same level. Affinity is always divided amongst everything you have equipped.

Killing with a weapon grants 50% exp to said weapon and 50% to your warframe while leeching exp gives 25% exp to your warframe and the rest is split to your weapons so you have to use your secondary to kill or let your teammates do the kill, not regardless what you use to kill
