another lancer synthesis question

so, i can run the misson on mars (ares via quests, not ares via starchart),
i have the synthesis scanner and traps equipped,
the specific lancer spawns in, and cephalon simaris also announces it via comms
lancer with blue hue and its own waypoint marker starts running around the map.

however when i try to scan him the lancer is solid green, no individual orbs on his body/arms/legs/etc to scan.
i can scan his clones as they split/appear. but also solid green, no individual scannable orbs on them either.

what am i doing wrong?

solid green normally signifies a normal lancer where the the codex entry is completed. So assuming you are indeed using the synthesis scanner in the mission and not the normal codex scanner (met a guy who used a hotkey for his scanner and didn't realise he hadn't actually swapped to the correct version) then this is sounds like a bug, but the best way of verifying that would be recording footage of what is happening and uploading it to youtube. Then we can see what you are doing and if it is a bug you can submit that video to support.

so works been hetick and haven't had a change to get back on till now.

got it sorted.

pc player, so will be different for consoles etc etc..
i was holding left click on the synthesis target, which was just coming up green/yellow like the normal scanner/normal target.

discovered that you must HOLD RIGHT click(zoom) on the synthesis target, which then brings up the individual orbs on the targets limbs which can then be scanned via left click
