There should be a way for new players to experience past lore events

Today, I just discovered that Alad V may have been cured from his infestation as per the events of Operation: Tubemen of Regor. I'm a relatively new player. I started playing Warframe a little over a year ago while the event happened in 2015. That means there are blank spots in the way I have experience Warframe's lore, story and events.

And that's just one event. There are many other events with lore tied to them that I have not and may not get to experience.

Why not set them as special nodes or alerts that are required for progressing the Star Chart during the corresponding section when the events should have taken place? They don't even need to offer the same rewards they did back then. This would enrich the experience and tie your progression with the game's lore.

DE is well aware of this. They don't need ideas on how to do it, they simply need the time and resources to do it.

There is the possibility that it isn't the most important thing to most players and DE is spending resources on things they find are more important.

I agree this is disappointing, I would have liked to be there. I could have been around for Ambulas Reborn if I had just given this game a try as soon as I heard about it! Are you saying you'd like these as side quests or something of the sort?

@peterc3 I'm glad DE knows of this, maybe some day 🙂

Easy to say if you've already done said events and gotten all the lore and loot they had to offer, but for newer players hearing older ones talk about Nightwatch and such is disappearing because we may never get to experience those events
