Buh Bi, Tank Frames.

Neither have any impact on Rhino and Frost...

Honestly, I don't think Rhino's too tanky. At higher levels (maybe half an hour into survival), Iron Skin protects from maybe a second or two of gunfire. Frost is much more durable inside Snow Globe, except against infested.

Which is a second or two longer than most frames, which can make quite a difference in certain situations.

Link has no real business being full immunity and they are going to give it more teeth by description, not to mention bless grants invulnerability anyways so you can link, get into fire, start bless, kill tons of crap.

Ember had skills like offense, defense, offense, offense and always lauded as an offensive frame so making her full offense instead of defensive makes sense.

The thing you're really ignoring is; tanks aren't just about taking damage but they are about control as well... Currently I wouldn't really classify any frame as being "the tank" just defensive, offensive, utility and stealth frames.

This is why I dislike people trying to insert metrics from other genres that don't really fit.

Now, instead of a useful utility skill that is viable at higher levels, you get the 50 energy version of fireball! YAY!

Except that's exactly what you did.

Rhino certainly qualifies under the action game tank precept and to a degree the fighting game precept.

And the other two did as well.

Now only Frost remains.

If it takes level 130+ enemies for Rhino to be in trouble, then he is a pretty good tank. Higher waves in defense really shouldn't be taken too seriously when it comes to game balance since there isn't much point to them.

There is no tanks in Warframe. Saying Frost, Rhino or some other is tank just because some people think they are tanking is crap. Tanking=keeping aggro, and keeping aggro in WF is mission impossible.

Exactly.. there never were tank frames, there are DEFENSIVE Frames, BUT along those guidelines the nyx Absorb ability should adiquately "Tank" for however much its modded... Hopefully :/

Frost's snowglobe is a shell to protect objectives and your cell if necessary, but draws no aggro.

Rhino may have high armor level with frost aswell but that'll only get you so far till you become wet tissue paper for lvl 40+ hostiles.

Rhinos iron skin can get vaporized in seconds aswell as draws no aggro.

Link for trinity never drew aggro, but took damage quite well, should still after the fix... again hopefully.

Overheat is in the same boat as link as of now, i think sheldon wont allow his fav frame to suck hard.

I could continue, but in all there are no tanks in warframe... yet.

Just want to jump in here and say as far as I was aware Rhino's iron skin did in fact draw aggro.

At the very least it's supposed to, it's in the update 8 patch notes "-Rhino's Iron Skin ability draws Aggro from enemies."

Hmm.. well i never noticed it, enemies either rip it to shreds or run past me hauling &#! to stand 3 inches from the objective and just stand there for 15 seconds before shooting (lol)

in any case i did not know that. my mistake.
