foxthefoxx
(Warning: Language) http://i.imgur.com/x0l9U8T.jpg So we kinda went off on this guy... I think that Survival missions should have a definite timer at least on alert... or at least a way to shut it off even with oxygen... like maybe multiple terminals that can be pressed simultaneously(Probably a limit on when can you actually set the systems off like around 20 to 30 minutes) so that spawns. time and the oxygen meter would stop as well then it shows enemies remaining and killing them gains time... once all enemies are cleared... mission ends... IDK... just a though... either that or put a vote to kick system... Edited September 5, 2013 by foxthefoxx
Hayden11121
Of course It's a new addition, we are beta testers. Feedback states we DO infact need timers. Just give them time to add it, for now I am glad they added a survival that includes Ferrite. I needed some and didn't want to farm M Prime. Now the only hard part is getting randoms to invite me over and over..

Feyreheart
that's just part of the troll thing. same how people were wasting the oxygen tanks during the weekend event. not saying he was trolling... but it falls from the same thing. MeteorKing
I was unaware that using stamina lowered oxy. I also heard that fire (ignus/ember) does as well? I think some official notification of these, fairly major, aspects of mission details should be given.
taiiat
It's a new addition, we are beta testers. Feedback states we DO infact need timers. a fair one, however. a decently skilled player with average frames and weapons (or a group of similar players) should be able to complete such Alerts, just as pro players should. 10 minutes is probably fair. I was unaware that using stamina lowered oxy. I also heard that fire (ignus/ember) does as well? (since that would make Ember literally worthless in Oxygen Survival). Edited September 5, 2013 by taiiat

I've ran around and swung my sword around like a maniac and the oxygen still depleted at the normal 1 per 2 seconds. zyraconne
I was unaware that using stamina lowered oxy. I also heard that fire (ignus/ember) does as well? Used Ember on the livestream alert. WoF on all the time, and I didn't notice any increased oxygen depletion. Then again I wasn't watching the timer. Did make it to around 30 mins before decided to stop. ElementLordofMilk
I think some way to "Signal for extraction" or something would be better than fixed time limits, that way if people want to keep going until they die they still can. This is a great idea. Some sort of vote or activated console to signal the Lotus for extraction. VScipii26
Using stamina in any way, as well as using any fire, does not increase oxygen consumption. You got mad at him mostly for no reason. Looking at the conversation, it didn't seem like he was hitting the dispenser, and at 61% you should be picking up the tanks.

The point of the topic is that the guy was picking up the tanks when the others wanted to end the mission.
