Single Weapons Should Carry Forma's Over To Duel Counterpart

This has been such a pet peeve of mine since they introduced forma's. If you've invested all that time into one thing and then the game decides hey, your guns obsolete now and you also need another to craft the duel counterpart at least carry my forma's over. Like say you have a Vasto forma'd 1 time and another forma'd 2 times when you craft your duel it will have 3 stars like it was forma'd 3 times still starting at level 0 though. Also i don't know who would bother leveling up the second vasto rather than just making the duel just using it as an example since it wouldn't be an exploit either.

that or they should give you back the forma/catalyst when using the weapon to make a dual version

well they are going from single to dual, so you should only have half a forma

half a catalyst would be easy. half a forma? not so much. lol

It's still one whole forma that has been used, so keeping the polarity would also work. Although I think just giving the player the forma back would be a better idea, or some materials.
