Ranking up arcanes

So I have a question about ranking arcanes. So let's say I have a rank 1 arcane and 3 rank 0 arcanes. Can I combine them to get a rank 2 arcane? the same question for combining a rank 2 arcane and 4 rank 0 arcanes

Pretty simple

Arcane Awakening is unrankend. You need 2 more unranked ones to get to Rank 1. After that you need 3 additional ones to get to Rank 2.

Arcane Aegis is already Rank 2 (like your second question) and needs 4 unranked ones to get to Rank 3. 

This is for all Arcanes no matter their rarity.

In general: the white symbols show you how much you have progressed to Rank3 and the grey symbols show you how much unranked ones you are missing

1 unranked for unranked (Doh)

3 Unranked to get to rank 1

6 unranked to get to rank 2 - You combine one rank 1 with 3 unranked.

10 unranked to get to rank 3 - You combine one rank 2 with 4 unranked.

You always add unranked Arcanes to the one your ranking up - or you end up with two rank 1's that cant be combined.

 

Simple answer to your question: Yes.
